The LineUp Agency's role has been crucial to CENI's development. As an integral part of a remote team, our engineers managed to:

SaaS platform for test automation of the application programming interface (API)
The platform allows real-time creation of test sets, as well as a set of sets for testing specific or full functionality of the developed applications. The great value of the service is betrayed by its versatility and the ability to create your own unique parameters and test scripts.
Each test consists of a set of requests that it must call to be considered successful. The test set is able to launch requests in the queuing mode (if a launch sequence is needed to solve a business problem) and in parallel mode to speed up the receipt of test results.
The system supports a set of sequences, in the case when it is necessary to send different data for each request. The ability to set the schedule for launching test sets, accompanied by real time notifications, to get the status of the test without reloading the page has been developed.
Each run of the test set is stored on the service with a full copy of the original parameters, which makes it possible to track the history of API changes and find errors, if any.
Cash Transfer: System of non-cash money transfers

Transaction and security server of payment system
The developed money transfer platform allows to operate in a real time mode with a large number of concurrently executed transactions. The platform allows the safe two-way exchange of information about bank cards and user IDs in the form of mobile phone number, email or account within the platform. In addition, an API was developed, whereby any bank can connect to the service.
Web application (front-office) for users
Transfers and placement of money are possible in various currencies, with the possibility of converting into the desired currency. The user has the ability to bind their bank cards to the account, with the ability to configure automatic enrollment of subsequent transfers either to the bank card or to the internal account.
Back Office for platform management
The developed back-office allows you to manage all the content of the platform, as well as all users. Implemented a system of advanced visual analytics with the ability to generate custom reports. The Google Analytics web analytics service is connected.

Corporate website of real estate agency with the built-in bulletin board
The website is adapted for use on both monitors with different resolutions, and mobile devices and tablets. The content of the website was completely restructured, all website sections were reworked and navigation was improved. We have made the emphasis on the basic user functions on the sale, purchase and rent of various types of real estate property. The site has a built-in bulletin board that provides access to an extensive database of property ads for the sale, purchase, and rent of apartments, houses, and commercial real estate.
We have implemented an advanced search of real estate properties by a large number of parameters (type of property, cost in hryvnias or US dollars, location (district, metro, address), number of floors, area, year of construction) with the ability to view the address of the property on the Google map. For each property the user of the site has the ability to leave a request to visit it, contact the author of the ad or report the ad. An intelligent algorithm for showing similar ads to the user is implemented. A separate ability is implemented to view the list of real estate properties managed by each of the agency’s realtors.

Our platform is built exclusively online operating via a website as well as mobile apps designed for Android and iOS

I posted requests for proposals with several portals providing freelancing or IT development services. After interviewing several potential providers we chose to work with LineUp. They convinced us by being flexible in their approach and fast and responsive in their communication. Their portfolio was solid and we could also negotiate favourable terms.

LineUp initially provided us with mockup screens for web and mobile apps based on our specifications. They correctly understood the scope and complexity and provided many useful ideas built into the project. The entire platform was then developed by LineUp from scratch, using e.g. Java, JHipster, MySQL, etc.

We have been in constant interactions with LineUp's CEO throughout the delivery. Our project was supervised by a senior PM and developed by up to 5-6 individuals across design, front, end and mobile dimensions.

We have successfully launched the platform in January 2021 and are in a process of further improving the functionality and user journey

There is never an issue to reach LineUp's reps in case of any problem or if you only need advice. The team is friendly and they have good designers and coders. Most of their PMs are competent and engaged. We used Trello for ticketing (now moved to JIRA) and Telegram/Viber for ongoing communication with multiple video calls at certain milestones
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
LineUp values long-term business relationships and goes the extra mile to keep it. When things are rough, they keep a cool head and possess the ability to find a solution that suits everyone. LineUp aspires to constant improvement and undertakes tangible steps to make their services better. They really work hard to ensure all clients' demands are reasonably met and are offering competitive rates.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I wish there was a better long term planning of the project delivery with more systematic reviews of the milestones. Throughout the delivery a better QC would have helped to avoid much of the time waste and iterations.
