Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a Marketing Manager at GARANT GROUP. We are an international group of companies which offers complete solutions for shipping, oil & gas, and coastal industries as well as wind energy power plants worldwide.
For what projects/services did your company hire Linecore, and what were your goals?
We hired Linecore to create a new modern Group website. It had to be atttractive, reflect our character, values, identity, and not only be a "nice card" but with call to action.
How did you select Linecore and what were the deciding factors?
We searched on Clutch as well as in our home country. For decision making we relied on customer's reviews, previous projects, and price vs. quality. One of the important factors was smooth communication and ability to hear and understand each other.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several kick-off meetings to discuss our goals and vision. For the developers to better understand the spirit of our company, we initiated an interview with our founder. From there, the team delivered design mock-ups for our site. We spent quality time polishing design first, so it reflected our goals.
Then they filled it with content to present our services. The main steps: - UX/UI design phase including several interviews with Garant management - Front-end and back-end development - Final testing and content uploading - Setup and launch the project on the production server Technologies used: Figma for design development, MODX CMF as a core technology for website developing and content managing.
How many people from the Linecore team worked with you, and what were their positions?
On our project worked 6 specialists: project manager, creative director, two designers, front-end engineer and back-end engineer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching our site, we saw 50 % increase in traffic. Clients love the updated design as they have a chance to know in detail about the services we provide, as well as the cases/projects that we carry out.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They were always at hand. Usually, the delays were from our side as we needed more time to confirm with several departments. We are very grateful that the Linecore team was available any time, even late in the evenings. If we needed something to be done urgently by tomorrow, we always could be sure we will find it ready by that time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their readiness to help any time we need urgent help. We are fascinated by their patience, attention to our needs and concerns, and a smart approach to communication with a client. They knew how to resolve our issues, and the team could answer all of our questions. Their support continues even now.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
After we launched, they are always at hand if any bugs appear. They are quick to solve any problem.

Mobile App Dev for Design Firm
"I’m very happy with the results so far. I haven’t found any flaws in the process we’ve established with Linecore."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a printing company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Linecore?
We’d launched a new sales platform, which was a pretty complicated website for producing and selling posters. We created some custom packaging for this, and so on. The next step for us was to create an application with AR capabilities and some advanced technical features.
We started the process with another team, but they were all over the place and didn’t do a good job at all, so we ended up firing them. They couldn’t implement certain things at all, no matter how many times they tried.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Linecore is technically-savvy, and they’re great with communication. They were able to complete all the features we requested.
The features we’ve built into the application still need to be implemented in real life. We’ve tested and sold some AR posters, but clients are still unaware of those capabilities. We’ll be introducing the owners of those posters to the features in about a month’s time.
Even though the app works technically, there are certain issues that have come up after the upgrade to iOS 13. Usually, when a new OS version comes out, there will be fixes and tweaks that have to be made with apps. I’ve talked to Linecore yesterday about the list of changes we have to implement, and they’re going to start the process later this week.
Some of the things that got broken due to iOS 13 possibly wouldn’t have broken if the architecture of the app had been done properly from the start. Our next step is to fix those, and we’ve discussed two approaches yesterday. One has to do with basically patching the issues, and the other is a more extensive modification to the architecture. From a budget standpoint, since the app won’t be making money until we’ve seriously marketed it and have a lot of content to support it, it’s a bit difficult to push money into the redevelopment of certain things. From the standpoint of quality, if the cost isn’t too high, I might choose to modify its architecture, which was incorrectly set up by our original developer. This is so we won’t be in the situation of having to constantly put patches on top of patches.
This isn’t Linecore’s fault. They did what I asked them for, and they delivered features that the other team couldn’t do at all. The ones they’ve done from scratch are working flawlessly. Clearly, the issues are stemming from the original developers. Linecore is going to clean the app to the point where the code is nice and clean, and won’t require too much modification in the future. It will will be much easier to build on top of that.
Because of their approach, Linecore has gained enough trust for me to invest more money into an app that’s not making money yet. I need to see the estimates for the additional work, but my early indications are that doing more right now are going to save us money going forward. Linecore was thoughtful before, when we needed to modify certain things, and didn’t push me toward code changes. I’ve heard from a number of people that, when we fire one team and hire another, chances are that they’ll want to do everything from scratch rather than clean up someone else’s mistakes. Linecore was actually open-minded about doing the cleanup, with the understanding that we’d need to bite the bullet at some point, and do it properly. This is the case right now.
We’ve shown the app to a lot of clients, with the understanding that it’s still being worked on. I have a lot of high visibility with well-known design clientele, and they’ve tested and played around with the app. Right now, there are extensive conversations about its marketing structure and the usage of the app by a number of entities.
How did Linecore perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Telegram as the team communication tool, and Google Sheets for assigning and tracking updates and upgrades. We attach photos and videos for the technical issues we identify. There’s a priority list, and there are checkmarks for what’s been done on Linecore’s side. We use InVision to collaborate on the designs.
There’s also communication between Linecore and our development team for the website, since the app needs to communicate with the website’s backend.
We haven’t used specialized tools to manage deadlines, but they’ve definitely delivered on time. Linecore is very much on the ball. They’re proactive in asking questions ahead of time, and they’re smart enough to ask the right ones and identify problems before they occur.
Considering that they work consistently and fast, I’ve let them set deadlines they’re comfortable with, and their estimates usually match my expectations. There were a couple of situations when we needed things done in a short period of time, and Linecore managed to deliver.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Linecore has good experience, especially with the technologies they’re using in our case. We’ve asked them to be proactive in asking questions to identify potential faults in the process, and to get a good understanding of how to approach those potential issues. They don’t wait until we actually run into those issues. The solution is getting worked out early in the production. That’s a really good feature, in my opinion.
Something else I appreciate is their thorough testing. The items they give us are tested properly, reducing the number of issues we identify.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This is an interesting question, which I might have a problem answering. This was the first and only application I’ve needed to develop, so I don’t have a comparison for Linecore, aside from the original team we hired to develop the app.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
There’s no real advice I could give. I’ve had a good experience with Linecore, and I’ll continue to work with them on this app. They’re very much reasonable, and I think that whoever’s hiring them won’t go wrong. They’re pretty thoughtful and technically capable, and they come up with answers to technical issues.
People looking to work with Linecore should be clear in what they’re looking for. There are budgetary constraints with apps that won’t make money right away, and it’s best to make the additional investment only after there’s a stable monetization channel in place.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Gramatsky & Partners is one of the leading Ukrainian law firms specializing in IT, real estate, dispute resolution, and business protection. A staff of 50+ lawyers.
For what projects/services did your company hire Linecore?
We needed to create a corporate website and then configure the content for site optimization. It was necessary to develop a modern web design, think over the site structure taking into account modern trends, and develop a content management system.
What were your goals for this project?
Modernize the site; improve the company's online representation; increase customer and employee loyalty; unify SMM systems with the site; make the site a multimedia hub for our company, where all materials, news and releases on behalf of the company will be aggregated and distributed using modern methods over the net.
How did you select Linecore?
I did a lot of research and organized a tender from 50 leading digital agencies in Ukraine. I sent out a short and detailed technical task with a request for terms and price for such a project. The company Linecore won on the main criterion - the ratio "price-quality". In addition, communication with the Agency's frontman Maxim Kachan personally spoke in favour of this Agency.
Describe the project in detail.
It was necessary to develop a sufficiently large and structured website for a law firm that combines several functions at once: self-presentation, `online business card`, newsletter, declaration of values, information portal, media marketing, and customer acquisition. Linecore Studio offered an optimal structure and implementation of the project, where all the above elements and functions were harmoniously combined.
What was the team composition?
For the project, the Studio has put its best specialists at our disposal. The working group was personally led by the company's leader, Maxim Kachan, who was responsible for moderating web development and design, as well as several designers, webmasters and programmers.
The whole group consisted of 7 people, and me as a representative on the customer's side. The guys guided us in terms of optimizing the technical task and implementing each next step, and suggested the most optimal structure and design of key pages and templates for the rest of the pages.
A separate specialist was responsible for UI design and site/design adaptability for mobile apps and different browsers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As a specialist responsible for marketing and working with clients at the Law Firm, I can say that after launching the site, even without investing in SEO optimization, I started receiving calls and emails from potential clients in the spirit of: "We want exactly what is described in the section `BusinessBuilding` or "we have read your values - this is exactly what we looking for".
This was an amazing effect because I expected to invest money in optimization, and I believed that without serious investment, it is impossible to get a response from potential customers.
Overall, our online representation has improved significantly. Users spend several times longer on the pages, and they began to study the personal pages of lawyers (which are described in a non-trivial way and with an emphasis on people's personalities). The design and its demonstration on different platforms are great. Reviews of the site from all stakeholders are extremely enthusiastic.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The leader of the working group, Maxim Kachan, devoted a lot of time to us. He also built effective communication within the group, since he is also the Director of the Studio. We had direct access to Maxim at any time of the day, and we were going offline at our office for a day after requesting it.
The work was extremely productive, and for this special thanks to Maxim. It is worth noting that the guys inside use modern management systems (edge, scrum) so that each stage was moderated and performed very quickly and without delays.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were amazed that Ukrainian developers and designers were so deeply embedded in the specifics of our business (law), understood all the trends in the presentation and promotion of the firm's practices and services, studying the best world examples, enthusiastically responded to our request to focus on the design of some American law firms, and in general, were very ambitious in making the best website among Ukrainian law firms.
Are there any areas for improvement?
It seems to me that the guys should present themselves more aggressively and not hesitate to declare themselves in new markets, because in my experience of interaction with them, this is the best Ukrainian digital agency, definitely.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Our company - Brandsfield Law Firm - is focusing on intellectual property, technologies, media, and communication issues.
For what projects/services did your company hire Linecore, and what were your goals?
We engaged this team to design and develop a WordPress template based website for our firm. Our goal is to have a website that well presents the company on the Internet and looks in a business style on the one hand and is nice looking for creative, innovative, and brand-driven businesses who are our key clients, on the other hand.
How did you select Linecore and what were the deciding factors?
We previously worked with Linecore on other web dev projects (sub-site for IP practice) during my employment in another law firm in Kyiv, Ukraine. The quality of the previous work for a fair price has been a decisive factor to engage Linecore for the new project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project started with a kick-off meeting where we discussed our goal, objectives, and what we would like to see on the website. The Linecore team then selected a shortlist of the WordPress templates for our consideration and has been with us during the process of selection of the most suitable template to use as a basis for our website. During the web development process, we also had several ideas regarding a slider at the home page as well as the pictures for the web pages.
The Linecore team helped us to implement all our ideas and get a desirable result. We heavily tested the first version of the website and after several interactions of follow-up revisions, we've got the website we are ready to roll out and announce on launching our law firm work. We also had several additional developments after the roll-out (e.g. privacy and cookies policies related upgrade) and have got all necessary support from Linecore.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager was our main contact during the whole process of web development. We have not been in direct contact with designers and developers. One point of contact is the most comfortable approach to the project work for us.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Thanks to Linecore, we've finally got the website that we've always wanted to have. We received a number of positive feedbacks from our clients and contacts about the quality of our website.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
The project manager was always available to discuss the current status of the project and further development milestones. She has been "translating" our lawyer's understanding of web development into the language that Linecore designers and developers understand. There's always a feeling that the project manager cares about and advocate our interests before the Linecore team more than their own.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Linecore is extremely responsive whether you email them or use any of the messengers. Mostly at any time. The quality of web dev work has always been what we would like to get. I can hardly imagine what they are not able to develop. It looks like you cannot surprise them with crazy ideas and everything is possible.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The first version of the developed website has some minor bugs. We sent a bug list to the project manager and all the bugs were properly fixed.

My position is Project Manager.
For what projects / services did your company hire Linecore?
Cooperation with Linecore began after a cyberattack - the company's specialists helped with the restoration of the site. And then they provided support for the site and its updates / informational additions.
What were your goals for this project?
- to secure the site
- to ensure regular updates of information (especially in the media)
- to make it more comfortable for "visitors" to use the site
How did you select Linecore?
We settled on the Linecore variant after thoroughly analyzing the market, because they offer a wonderful value for money. Have good references.
Describe the project in detail.
Last year our corporate site was attacked - all transitions to it were redirected to another site. The problem had to be fixed quickly and Linecore helped us with this. It was very pleasant to cooperate with them, so we agreed on future support. During this period, the site was secured, and later - updated, made more convenient for use, relevant in terms of the appearance of information about the company's activity.
What was the team composition?
For a year of joint work, we communicated mostly with the project manager - a very competent girl. But they also know the head of the company and the chief prog
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The Linecore team allowed us to "forget" about the problems with the site. We knew that it wouldn’t be broken anymore. Also, the site site, besides the usual business card, has become a more necessary resource for PR and Marketing. After all, now we could get clear help / recommendations on how to work, we began to use analytics, etc.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very efficient. It was a pleasure to work in a project manager - always friendly, ready to help. With IT issues, it is sometimes difficult to clearly set a task, because you do not know all the capabilities of the resource etc. This has never happened in communication - all ideas / wishes were caught immediately, promptly explained and implemented.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Competence of employees; their ability to close several tasks with one command; their ability to explain complex things easily is really impressive; feeling that problems do not exist, there are only tasks; courtesy and optimism.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is always room for improvement. But in my opinion, the team is more than TOP.

We needed to develop a new website that would serve as the face of our company, as well as provide information for employees, partners, and customers.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to improve our company’s image and provide a knowledge base for employees and customers to learn about our products and services. Also, we hoped to automate some of our business processes.
How did you select this vendor?
We invited four companies to a tender and selected Linecore because they possessed the most development experience. They seemed to be reliable and have all the necessary specialists for our project. Their professionalism also helped us feel confident that they were the right choice.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The website was built on WordPress and supports both English and Russian. Linecore began by developing prototypes of the website based on our business requirements and then designing our site’s pages. After we approved everything, their developers implemented the design, did functional programming, and integrated our CMS. The result is a fully mobile-responsive website with an interface that includes animation and micro-interactions.
One of the key functions of the site is the automatic collection of stock quotes for the products we sell. Because of this, we have operational information about the state of the market, statistics on price changes, and offers for our main groups of products. Additionally, Linecore advised us on digital marketing and technical support for the developed website.

We worked with a project manager, a designer, a frontend engineer, a backend engineer, and a tester. 2–3 specialists worked on the project at a time, and other specialists were connected if necessary.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The site allowed us to automate the pricing collection process and improve our sales department efficiency by more than 50%. Organic traffic is also driving more requests. All of this is thanks to Linecore’s technical support, which they continue to provide.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We were in contact with the project manager throughout the process and were aware of everything that occurred. Linecore provided weekly reports, but we also had access to their development process in Trello. Slack sufficed for daily communication, which was handled by a developer on their side. They were responsible for implementing the calendar and work plan.
What did you find the most impressive about this company?
I loved how their specialists dove deep into our business to study our pains and tasks before proposing a solution. They have extensive market experience and used it to help us succeed without overwhelming our ideas. Instead, they supplemented our own to create a project we were completely satisfied with.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, not that I saw. Everything they did fit me well.
