A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of LONI.ai, an agnostic infrastructure management company.
What challenge were you trying to address with LibraFire?
We’re a startup, so we wanted our website to have an updated UI/UX, as well as a corporate and enterprise look.
What was the scope of their involvement?
LibraFire built and developed our website from scratch through WordPress, and we’re looking to engage them for branding, SEO, and social media marketing.
What is the team composition?
We work with Goran (Chief Business Development Manager), Igor (COO & Co-Founder), a project manager, and a UI/UX designer.
How did you come to work with LibraFire?
We found them on LinkedIn.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested close to $6,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing partnership started in July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a good job of incorporating the UI/UX design we requested, and it looks more mature and professional compared to our competitors.
How did LibraFire perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication is good as they’re very easy to talk to. We had a few changes in the original scope, but they were able to implement those without charging us.
We typically communicate through Skype.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re very impressed with their design skills and cost-effective solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The most challenging part of the project was nailing the design process, but it was smooth sailing once we accomplished that.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise them to have some notes and ideas before going into the partnership, rather than letting them figure out what you’re looking for and what they have to do.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the owner and creator of the children’s books series Astro the Monster.
For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire, and what were your goals?
I wanted to have a custom designed website that promoted my new book series. I already had the design completed, but needed a company to come in and implement the design for web, mobile, and tablet. In addition integrating with mailing list software and a custom content form.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Librafire Was recommended to me by me designed for their fair price and quality of work. When I spoke with Goran Goranovic, Chief Business Development Officer, he walked me through the process, we discussed details and overall project scope, and he was able work within my budget and time frame for my project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We have a kick off meeting to review the designs and discussed requirements of the site, QA testing, site performance, and integrations. This was a simple website which used a custom Wordpress template, so we covered all the elements that could be modified. We discussed timelines of 3 weeks and a weekly check-in on progress.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I had one person that was dedicated to my project which made it easy to filter request and manage the day to day adjustments. Goran, Chief Business Development Officer was my primary point of contact.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The site is currently up and running. Since it’s launch, it has given credibility to the book series having a professional looking site. People love the design and overall responsive of the site. Plus the team added small details like animation that really made the site come alive.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Communication was handle mostly through email and the team was very responsive and addressed any concerns the same day. For larger discussions, we could have a phone call and outline nee scope, timelines, etc…. In theee causes we would use zoom or Google hangout.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Professional service. Excellence quality. Skilled workers. Great price. They will do anything to make their clients happy.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I felt this company went above and beyond to make me happy. No additional feedback at this time.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Founder/CEO of a company called Envision Software, and here we were working on a project called Envision Collective. Envision Collective is a directory for minority-owned businesses. This directory allows users to submit their businesses, receive reviews, view blog posts, and receive advertisement through social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire, and what were your goals?
I hired LibraFire to complete the development of the website. I came to LibraFire with my web design, but I had no knowledge of web development, so LibraFire was essential to me turning my designs into a tangible website. I did not come with any timetable, but LibraFire was incredibly fast and quality. They answered every question I could have and were so helpful.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I selected this vendor as I had used a designer from the website 99designs. After I finished my project with him, I needed a developer, so I asked if he had known of any developers, and he suggested LibraFire. It was an amazing experience.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The team began by laying out the timeframe for the project. We had very conflicting time schedules as I live in a very inconvenient time zone in comparison to the team. So, we worked almost exclusively over email. They separated the project into 4 sections : completion of the backend, completion of the frontend, completion of the responsive, and QA and project delivery.
All 4 sections were met perfectly on time. As I already had the design fully complete, I did not have to do much on my end. Little by little, the website was closer to being done every day. The end product was identical to my design, and I did not have to ask for anything to be altered. It was seamless.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with 4 people, a project manager, and 3 developers. They all were great in their roles and when one went on vacation, the others filled in seamlessly and it was very easy.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I have not yet launched the website, so I cannot give any figures. However, I have no doubt that this site will be all I need to gain some traction online.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They were very timely. Like I said earlier, they used mostly email, as we were on different timezones. However, they never missed an email, and they were always quick to respond to my questions with helpful answers.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive thing that I found was hope affordable the company was for the quality of work. I hired a different company for a separate project a while ago, and it was very high quality but it was incredibly expensive. Here, the quality was just as high, if not higher, but it was much more affordable. It was everything I wanted, and more.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Honestly, no. It might sound too good to be true, but I worked with them for months and they did everything I could ask for. Even when the project was over, they continued answering questions and troubleshooting for free. I never thought I would see someone do that without asking for something in return. Incredible service, truly.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Managing Partner of a Technology Services company called Jupiter Labs.
For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire, and what were your goals?
One of our creative partners was working with an international Hedge Fund that was in much need of new identity and corporate website. Knowing that there would be an emphasis on the frontend of the experience, we reached out to LibraFire to help bring it to life through a well constructed technical approach and smooth animation styles.
How did you select LibraFire and what were the deciding factors?
We've worked with LibraFire on a number of client projects in the past and their frontend development capabilities are stellar. They are an incredibly talented group of engineers who can not only produce nearly pixel perfect UI experiences, but they have a knack for being able to tap into the creative teams vision when it comes to motion as well. The work they deliver comes with emotion.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We developed a highly cacheable and fast UI accompanied by a headless CMS solution. The discovery and design phases were conducted prior to development start so we were mostly heads down in development for ~7 weeks (with client demos peppered in throughout). We worked directly with the end clients IT team to handle and support with integration needs.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team consisted of four LibraFire team members; A Producer (I can't say enough good things about Goran), FE Engineer, BE Engineer, and QA Analyst.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Both our creative partner and the end client couldn't have been happier with the end product. The site is fast, scalable and highly performant.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Communication was smooth throughout. We leaned on Slack for daily comms and email for anything more long form. LibraFire is exceptional re. the accuracy of their timelines and sticking to them.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
In addition to their frontend capabilities, they are just a pleasure to work along side. They're a highly collaborative group that is focused on building the best experiences possible.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing major on this project. This was a pure win.

For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire?
LibraFire was hired make and design our website, having in mind the existing website and the content on it, and import of new content which was developed during the time between making of the old website and today.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to present all the new features of our services and include all of the developments, having in mind the particular services we wanted to emphasize.
How did you select this vendor?
Through recommendations.
Describe the project in detail.
After accepting the offer from LibraFire, we had an initial meeting with co-founders, where we presented what would be our needs and received a number of potential solutions. In short period of time after the meeting, we received three options for the basic look of the website, from which we chose one and started building the content and the design from there.
What was the team composition?
We further communicated directly with them, explaining and implementing our wishes and receiving suggestions from them along the way.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
At this point, we only received positive feedback from our peers on the website, however, as the project was finished a short while ago, we will be expecting further results in a few months.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They were very prompt and effective, all of our requests were met in due time and/or with recommended better solutions if needed.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were very perceptive of our ideas and wishes and gave their best knowledge and experience to respect them, or, if they thought that there were better solutions than the ones we suggested, and which would produce the same and/or better results, they were ready to present them.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only area where there could be improvement was photography (photos used for the website).

For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire?
We needed a high quality wordpress development company that could put our new website desing into good code and give instructions to our content managers thereafter.
What were your goals for this project?
The website had to reproduce our design, which included some non-standard stuff (twitter feed integration, animations) and we wanted to have a wordpress developer who produces high quality and not just a lot of plugins thrown together.
How did you select this vendor?
Clutch reviews and personal interview.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

What was the team composition?
The vendor provided us a single point of contact with a team of unknown size behind, but this worked well.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The website was delivered within 4 weeks on the communicated deadline and the reception about the new site was very good.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Great always on time and uncomplicated. Slack & Trello were used for uncomplicated communication.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They were professional and uncomplicated. Even if we asked some last-minute changes or requests as so often happened, they were happy to adapt without entering renegotiations which was refreshing. Really responsive.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No improvement needed, I can recommend them full-heartedly.

For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire?
We hired Libra Fire to help us with the redesign and redevelopment of our company website.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal of the project was to modernize the existing look and feel of the old website and showcase the multitude of products and services we carry across five business units.
How did you select this vendor?
We researched several vendors but the Libra Fire account management and the overall communication approach was by far the most professional. We were very quickly convinced they would do a great job and deliver on our requirements.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Considering the sheer size and the complexity of the business, we needed to come up with a logical, elegant and yet not too bulky a solution to make all the relevant information flow seamlessly and for it to be presented in a visually appealing manner.
The team were very involved, made sure they grasped the various complexities our business very quickly, and they helped us every step of the way to arrive at the best possible solution for each category.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of a very agile account manager and an extremely knowledgeable developer who made sure they explained all the points of the development process to our own team in great detail. They had a lot of patience in educating us about the required deliverables and workflows.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Following a number of changes, revisions and improvements which were necessary in order to organize such a large volume of technical information, we emerged with a contemporary looking website with some amazing functionalities.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The Libra Fire team's response times were second to none and they never failed to deliver on their commitments. They are very professional and they take their work very seriously. We were given realistic deadlines and received advanced notices in reference to potential delays, changes in schedules etc. Our internal team felt very supported throughout the entire process.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were very impressed with their tech expertise and customer service alike. Every question we had was answered promptly and logically. They built our website and provided a high degree of tech education along the way.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is very little to improve as far as this project was concerned. We would certainly gladly work with the Libra Fire team again on similar projects in the future.

We are a digital marketing agency based in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2017, we were looking to rebrand our business image as a necessary evolution. I am the Client Services Director.
For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire?
Our website was not providing the required image to give confidence to our prospective clients. We offer a top tier service and our website needed to communicate this through a well designed and developed website with best practice end to end.
What were your goals for this project?
The solution had to be a case study focused website - with the element of conversion. The website needed to be built on WordPress with interactive elements.
How did you select this vendor?
We were recommended by a friend who is a solutions architect. Two other companies were considered through other friends, however, LibraFire displayed a great track record and responsive communication throughout the sourcing process. Due to their great communication and effectively articulating our vision, we gave LibraFire the project.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They architected, designed and developed a top tier website solution. The project began with a Skype meeting where they gathered the necessary requirements. From here they conducted research, based on some of our inspiration, and provided us with an initial wireframe and design that met all the requirements of the workshop. The first design needed minor adjustments and LibraFire made amendments to complete the design. They used InVision to communicate during the design phase so we knew what to expect when it was pushed to the development.
What was the team composition?
Most of the correspondence was with the Business Development Manager and Head of Development. However they had a team of 2 designers and 2 developers working on our project. The used 4 of their best resources (from their team of 20) to work on our project directly. And the results speak for themselves. We didn't need to speak to any of the design or development team. All communication was completed effectively through the Business Development Manager and Head of Development.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The new website has injected a new look and feel into our business. Business and partner associates have been diving glowing feedback. Our expectation for the website was exceeded. We asked our friend who referred us to cross-check the development and found that the website was built lean and clean with best practice. Our website gets a score of 87/100 (mobile) and 94/100 (desktop) on Google speed test.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was agile. We made minor changes in the form of sprints during the design and development phases once the framework for the website was produced. InVision was used to communicate the design, Skype for regular online meetings, Slack to reduce email communication and efficient replies. There were no issues with language. The team spoke with perfect English.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We had direct access to the Head of Development which enabled effective communication. One impressive factor working with LibraFire is that their internal company culture matched ours. Funny, witty, transparent, easy-going and great to converse with. But when it came to 'getting down to business' they delivered accurately and timely. They take pride in their work.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is very little to improve on, they deliver high-quality work, lean and clean code and beautiful design. The only thing I can suggest is that they use a system like Trello so that we can track the current work in progress visually. But this should generally be enforced by the client-side and must request that LibraFire use the system provided (which we did not use as the project was not very complex and did not have too many moving parts)

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are a Creative Agency based in the Netherlands. I am one of the two Co-Founders and Projectmanagers.
For what projects/services did your company hire LibraFire?
We hired Librafire for the development of a Webpage for our client Kern Microtechnik. As we are mainly focused on designing websites rather than developing them we needed some help from true professionals in the field, especially as the client wanted to switch from Typo 3 to the Wordpress backend.
What were your goals for this project?
There were several goals for this project. The new website had to: - Perform better as the old one - Should have a better conversion rates and user experience than the old one - Should be fully responsive on all devices - Should rank higher in SEO and generate more traffic - Should come in a modern dark theme
How did you select this vendor?
We have created an open project with a detailed description of what we want to have achieved and several agencies and freelancers applied for the project. Just from the professionality with which they understood our project and communicated with us from the first day, we realized that LibraFire is the agency to go with.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They translated our designs 1:1 from Figma into clean code while reacting quickly to sudden changes from the side of our client (which happened very often). They always worked professionally and fast and kept optimizing the page at the end to reach all results within the first two weeks.
What was the team composition?
We had one to two main contact persons which were replaced when on holiday. The replacement was briefed and informed perfectly about the project beforehand though so it was a smooth transition. Behind the main contact person was usually a team of developers which were in direct contact with that person.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
This was by far the biggest webdesign/development we had so far and set us in the position to reach out to bigger clients now. Especially as we know now that LibraFire is able to translate all our designs exactly into code.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Deadlines were always met, the communication was straighforward and clear. We mainly used Slack and Trello to communicate and Figma to communicate the designs. Also, their English is really really well.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were especially impressed by their technical know-how. Especially as our clients had problems with their in house server - they were the ones who could think about a solution remotely why their in house IT department failed.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nothing I can think of
LibraFire was able to successfully implement the client's requests for the UI/UX of the website, achieving a professional and mature aesthetic. Their team is highly communicative, and the internal stakeholders are impressed with their cost-effective solutions and technical prowess.
