Migrant Connections website
Project regarding German immigrants in the United States, including public-contributed letters and their transcriptions. The platform was created using Omeka S.
The initial site was going to include only the letters, but it eventually evolved towards a new project called “Migrant Connections”. This new concept unites several projects together with a new shared visual identity devised by Libnamic.

Internal Library for NAEGA
Internal Library project for NAEGA, using Omeka S and in cooperation with Agriculture Dialogues International. Libnamic provided consuntancy, training and support, as well as hosting services and the development of specific requirements.
The project required allowing the organization’s staff to access Omeka without a password, while keeping the information private. Libnamic’s solution was to develop a feature to allow loging in using a special shareable link.
The Omeka theme “papers” was adapted to display specific information on the homepage.

Expobus
Omeka S project for the Library of the University of Seville
Development of several themes and a module adding several page blocks to Omeka S. The project also involved extensive support and training, deployment in the customer’s server and advanced configuration of Omeka S.
The Library used to have its exhibits website as static pages generated from content in a painful and inflexible way. When they embraced Omeka, they were surprised by the ease of use and the user-friendliness of the interface. The time required to publish exhibitions dramatically reduced, and they started releasing new exhibits within weeks.
Libnamic worked to adapt Omeka to their needs and style. We later provided training and constant support to the librarians and IT staff.

Virtual Exhibit site "Expoidealab"
Omeka S project for the IdeaLab research group, by the universities of Zaragoza and Complutense of Madrid
Assistance about Omeka S, web hosting and development of a custom theme based on a design created and proposed by Libnamic. Additionally, the site uses extra page block layouts, like an item slider.
The custom theme developed for the client provides a distinct style to Omeka S. This theme can also be used on future exhibits. The slider block layout improves navigability throughout the exhibits.
IdeaLab periodically releases research studies in the fields of history and humanities. This research group found in Omeka S a way to divulge these contents to the general public, hence improving the availability of this information and making the most of the received funds. The project started small, requiring only hosting and consultancy. While at first the customer requested style changes over the default theme, it became evident that a custom theme would provide much better results.
Libnamic created a design and developed a theme from scratch. We also provided web hosting and support to the professors.
