I hired Let's Design Your Site to redesign my website. I also had the team add a membership portal and pages to the new site.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After my first interview with the team, I knew they were the perfect fit. Dave answered all my questions. Also, he gave me many suggestions on how to make my site beautiful, functional, and easy to find on the internet. Dave and the team became more than a web designer, he became a resource for me to go to when I wanted to expand my business and did not know how.

After our initial meeting, the team went to work on redesigning my new site. They simplified my copy and designed a new logo. In addition, they updated the color palette and added membership portals and pages. The team also designed a landing page for me. Dave and the team were very patient with me throughout the entire process. I could not be happier with the quality of the work that they provided for me.

Steve was my first contact and he was great. After that most of my emails and meeting were with Dave.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My website is not only beautiful but also user-friendly. Clients who visit my site always comment on how beautiful it is.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Dave was so easy to work with. All the work was performed on time. He is professional and has a wealth of knowledge.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I'm most impressed with how quickly they finished the site. Also the professionalism and integrity of the team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No area of improvement come to mind.

I’m the co-founder of Zeptive, an air quality monitoring company. We detect problems with indoor air quality in schools, businesses, hotels, and other organizations.

What challenge were you trying to address with Let's Design Your Site?

We needed help enhancing our site.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let's Design Your Site did web development for us from scratch using Wix. We asked them to create a platform where we can clearly communicate our product attributes and how to use them in different environments. They also enabled a feature where we can showcase the articles we publish; we're proud of the high-quality content we produce, which is research-based and helps our customers.

We work with Dave (Owner) and Katie (Web Designer).

How did you come to work with Let's Design Your Site?

I found them online while looking for local firms. They were on the list of Wix's partners.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We receive thousands of clicks on our site every month, and we've also experienced a dramatic 10x increase in traffic and sales based on conversions from our website.

How did Let'sDesign Your Site perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is outstanding; they meet deadlines and stay on budget. Regarding tools, we use Google Sheets, Zoom, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciate that Dave is both a web designer and a business person, so he understands what his clients are trying to accomplish and reflects it into their deliverable's structure and content design.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t view your relationship with them as just a web development provider; be open to sharing their core business challenges because they can help translate that into solutions.

I’m the owner of GTS Innovative, an invention company. We help people get their inventions off the ground. I’m an inventor myself, so we also produce our own products for our company. 

What challenge were you trying to address with Let’s Design Your Site?

We hired Let’s Design for their web design services. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let’s Design has built several websites for us. They have their own system to do it. The team usually sends us a list of questions that we or our end clients need to answer. From there, Let’s Design resources tailor each website to our answers. They implement a lot of technical features and offer maintenance and hosting services. 

What is the team composition?

I work with 2–3 people from Let’s Design, including Dave (Business Owner) and Catie (Director of Functionality). More people work behind the scenes. 

How did you come to work with Let’s Design Your Site?

I met Dave around five years ago. When he started his web design business, he reached out to me and let me know that he was doing that. We started using their services from there. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $5,000–$6,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement in January 2020. Technically, we don’t have any pending projects now, but I continue to communicate with them so the relationship is ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I sell a lot of products, and that’s good. People find our website and enjoy it — it’s techy and looks good. Apart from that, my end clients are satisfied with their websites. They all make changes over time, but everybody’s pretty happy with what Let’s Design has done.

How did Let’s Design Your Site perform from a project management standpoint?

Let’s Design meets deadlines and stays on budget. I’ve used Basecamp for other projects, but they might be using another tool. Regardless, we communicate regularly. We use calls, texts, and emails. It’s easier for me to talk over the phone, so I make time to schedule calls with them. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re highly customer-centered. Dave takes his time with us and tailors his work to each client — he truly works hard for us. I’ve never felt that he’s rushed to get things done. Moreover, they ask the right questions and don’t take a lot of liberties; if they do, they always check with us first. If I want them to change something they’ve done, they simply do it. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any. They resolve any issues we have quickly. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an idea of what you want. This is truly important, especially in terms of world development. If you reach out to Let’s Design, they’ll try to do what you want, but there can be confusion in that. As a result, it’s better to set a clear game plan. You can pick out websites that you like and give them as examples to the team. This will speed up the process.

I’m the CEO and founder of Business & Bourbon. We create experiences and events for corporations, entrepreneurs, and sales professionals to help them connect and network.

What challenge were you trying to address with Let's Design Your Site?

We needed help designing a site that reflected what our experiences were like so that when people came into it, they could feel what it was like to be at one of our events. Additionally, we needed to collect data with our site intelligently, so we wanted to create a form with a good reason behind it for them to join our community and provide us with their contact information. That way, we could continuously interact with them, reach out to them, and promote our upcoming experiences and events.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let’s Design Your Site has redesigned our website from scratch. Before the design process started, they reviewed and analyzed our previous site to provide some feedback on it. After that, we had a series of Zoom meetings as part of a detailed discovery process. During these meetings, they asked me a lot of questions to understand the outcomes I wanted and what I wanted to accomplish.

After the discovery phase, Let’s Design Your Site made great recommendations about what direction we should take with our site. Then, they redesigned it following that direction and our requirements. We provided them with some content pieces, but they sourced other content on their own to create the site and tell the story we wanted to tell.

Additionally, Let’s Design Your Site has helped us with our SEO. During the redesign process, they made some changes to its backend to support this effort and ensure that our site was indexed properly. Currently, they provide us with ongoing maintenance and support. As an event company, we constantly have new events and experiences, so they’re in charge of updating the site as needed.

We’ve worked with 3–4 people from Let’s Design Your Site. Catie (Senior Designer & Function Specialist) is in charge of the site’s ongoing maintenance.

Initially, I reached out to a different design firm, and that design firm referred me to Let’s Design Your Site. I chose them because I felt that they were focused on creating something aesthetically pleasing that actually worked and generated the outcomes we needed.

We started working together in November 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since we launched our redesigned site, our conversions have increased substantially. Additionally, people stay on our website for longer and view more pages.

As general feedback, I can say that I’ve really appreciated Let’s Design Your Site’s expertise in directing me instead of me telling them what to do. I’ve only told them what I wanted, and they’ve provided me with excellent suggestions and solutions to help me get there.

How did Let's Design Your Site perform from a project management standpoint?

Let’s Design Your Site is very easy to work with, and they do a great job managing projects. We’ve communicated mainly via email, especially during the redesign process, but we’ve worked hand-in-hand during our current stage. Whenever we send them new projects, they execute them very quickly and without many iterations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Let’s Design Your Site focuses not only on designing beautiful sites but also on creating sites that get results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’ve been very happy with our relationship. Of course, they’ve been continuously improving. Early into our project, I saw some normal growing pains, but Let’s Design Your Site has successfully improved their organization to address those challenges.

Dedicate time detailing the outcomes you need to see from the design of your site and focus on what success looks like for you. Then, trust Let’s Design Your Site to design a website that does that for you.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of Love100, a local non-profit I created in 2021. The initial goal of the organization is to feed 100+ families every Thanksgiving in our local area of Palm Bay, FL.

We hired Let's Design Your Site to design our website as well as help us build out an easy payment/donation process so that visitors could easily understand what we do and how to donate toward our cause.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We decided on Let's Design Your Site after doing an online search, finding their website and seeing their portfolio of work. We liked the approachable look to each of their websites.

We started with a couple conversations to establish the goals of the project. The Let's Design Your Site team asked me specific questions so that they could create the look we wanted as well as the function. The team built out the draft site and sent it to me for review. After approval, they kept going to create the finalized site, create professional mailboxes, set up a payment processor and get the site hosted live. We had 5 meetings from start to finish where they updated me on progress and allowed me to give feedback.

I worked with Jessy (aesthetics designer), Catie (function designer) and Dave (project manager).

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We successfully fulfilled our organization's mission of feeding over 100 families for Thanksgiving 2021 because Let's Design Your Site was able to successfully create a beautiful website and simple platform for the local community to donate to our cause. We couldn't have done it without them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was seamless. We felt like we were on the same team throughout the process. Our calls were always helpful and effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I brought my needs to the company a month before we needed the website to go live. So I was really impressed with the speed of their work. Most companies would not commit to that type of deadline, nor follow-through with it. But the team did a great job, and the site was live exactly when it needed to be.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, our organization received what it hoped to receive. There were no hiccups. We were happy with process and the result.

I am an independent artist and put together my original website about 4-5 years ago. Nothing special and I decided to upgrade and make it special. So my company is DanHoltART.com and I am the head honcho...I'm actually the only honcho.

My site was not meeting my expectations. I decided to go with a professional team and give it a complete overhaul. Let's Design Your Site had free rein to start from scratch and put together a current, professional, technically sound site.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I actually contacted WIX for a list of their referred companies which do website overhauls. They referred me to a list of companies. I called one and the lady deferred and recommended Let's Design Your Site. I called them and liked what they said. So I hired them.

After a series of discussions and suggestions LDYS put together a proposal. We looked at it together and brainstormed various ideas for improvements. I was a part of the process and never felt left out or worthless in the process. They know what they are doing technically but I know what I want regarding interaction with potential customers. We make a great team.

I worked with three people. Dave is the owner and Cory and Catie. Catie does all the layout.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They put together the new design and reviewed it with me. They asked me to give them some more details for various writeups which I did...am still doing. Recently I've had my family and friends go to the website and review it for me. Make sure all the links work as they are supposed to, etc. I've received nothing but good reviews.

I've asked "strangers" to do the same with the same results. There was only one area of concern and we are working on that. It wasn't anything LDYS did or didn't do. It is a problem with the nature of selling customized art online.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was/is terrific. We email regarding various areas of concern and they are resolved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Let's Design Your Site is a company of professionals. They are personable and technically savvy no matter what the website might call for. We worked very well together to resolve concerns and come up with new, creative ways to showcase my art.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We all want things for us done immediately so what seemed like a long time for me was not in reality. The team has done a terrific job of redesigning my website and are continuing to help with my picky little details.

I am Director of a specialized trade group association providing education, training, resources and networking to potentially 4000 companies in the $40B/year custom closet & storage industry.

Needed a dynamic private membership website that provided members with access to resources, educational materials, business growth strategies, best practices and networking services.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Willingness to explore and expand into areas not familiar to us or them. Staying onboard and assisting us in developing resources not found anyway else in our specialized industry.

Needed a public side of the website and a private members-only portal that allowed paying members to access privileged, confidential and priority information. These included registering for our annual conference and subscribing to our Members-Only portion. Includes profiles of our members as well as podcasts and video training course and sessions, links to other resources.

We rolled out the website in the Spring of 2021 and already have nearly 180 paying members and many of our scheduled benefits and resources have already been published on our site. Traffic is good already and we are currently working on SEO, reviews and links to member websites.

Continue to have regularly scheduled Zoom and phone calls and set a reasonable schedule to accomplish our goals.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dave's interest in the products and services that our industry offers and ingenious ideas on how to implement and achieve our goals. Our combined efforts and strategies have propelled us to the top of the food chain in our industry. We are the largest and fastest growing segment of our industry and gaining new market shares everyday.

Nope, everything is moving along at a pace that is beneficial to all parties.

I needed to create a website to advertise my business and provide information about our services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Let’s Design Your Site collaborated closely with my team and me on building a Wix website to ensure that they captured the spirit of our organization. Initially, I chose a clean design template, and they helped me put together the concepts. They also helped me select the pictures and graphics that conveyed the messaging I wanted to convey. From there, we iterated on the project until we got to a good conclusion. Let’s Design Your Site also offered to help us with our SEO and other things of that nature, but we didn’t need those services at that moment.

Let’s Design Your Site did a fantastic job in that regard. They took the appropriate time to get the site up and running, and their services were rather inexpensive, so I got a great value for my money.

Additionally, they communicated exceptionally well and were very knowledgeable. They also stayed on top of everything throughout the entire process and ensured that I provided them with the required information in order to finish the site on time. We used Asana to manage the project and communicated via email and telephone.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Let’s Design Your Site’s white-glove services distinguishes them from their competitors; they care about their customers and are really concerned about delivering value in a timely manner. As an example of their level of care, their team attentively listened to my desires and offered options for potential growth. Overall, working with them was an exceptional experience.

I am the owner and consultant of a strategic planning and coaching company - SquarePeg - servicing private and public sectors in the Caribbean.

I originally created out website when I launched the company. Over the next two years our services and brand had evolved and we needed a more professional-looking website to reflect that.

After a series of discovery phone calls regarding goals and needs we required in our website enhancement project, we were assigned a project team. We met on a weekly basis and/or as needed basis reviewing project progress.

In total we had three resources assigned to us including a project manager, and two designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We now have a website that we are proud of, with the overall look and feel and site functionality much more professional and in line with our services and brand. The enhanced website has saved us time as we can now refer potential clients directly to the site and services menu to understand our offerings.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Dave and his team were incredibly responsive to our needs and timeline. All of our meetings were via Zoom and often times we did web design in the weekly calls designing and course correcting in real time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed with their ability to intuitively understand what we were looking for, the availability and timely delivery in our project requests, and the personal connection we were able to form with Dave and his team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not that I can think of.

Pets & People offers pet-assisted therapy visits to people who could use some healing joy in their days. Our carefully tested and certified therapy teams can be found at nursing homes, assisted living homes, special needs facilities, schools, libraries and hospitals and many other places. I am Director of Volunteers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Let's Design Your Site, and what were your goals?

Our website was created by a volunteer many years back and it was not at all functional for us. We wanted to show off our wonderful teams, create enthusiasm for what we do, increase donations, help with day to day functions of signing up for events, payments etc. Be proud to have someone see our site.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After speaking to Dave, our then president and myself felt like he understood what we needed and could deliver. We also needed to be trained to maintain the site as we do no have funds for maintenance. He and Catie have been wonderful in this regard!

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The timeline might look long but much of that was on our end of figuring out content. WE wanted to drive the content but that took alot of time on our end. Dave was very patient and helpful in guiding us through this process.

3. Dave and a designer to start. that person has since left and we have worked mostly with Catie. She is wonderful!, prompt, thorough and extremely helpful!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have gotten so much positive feedback from our members and public and the ease of setting up our events, tests, seminars and collecting payment on the site has been invaluable. Our site now makes us look so much more professional and we are happy to direct folks to our site to learn more about us.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Both Dave and Catie are very easy to work with, they respond quickly to my requests for help and are so helpful with providing recordings so I can refer to later as I progress through the learning curve of website maintenance.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were pleasant and efficient, and I am amazed by their quick answers to my questions throughout. These are not always simple queries either. Some of my thoughts now after two years, are how to make the site even more effective for us. Dave and Catie are very helpful in applying new ideas or suggestions as we grow into our new site and learn how to use it more effectively. i could not be happier.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had bugs at the start but truthfully, I expected some of that and issues were fixed very quickly. I have no complaints. Only praise for working with Dave and Catie.
