Please describe your company and your position there.
We offer an application to the sporting goods industry to assist hunters in tracking their hunts, as well as providing them with data to make their future hunts more productive.
For what projects/services did your company hire LetMeCode?
We hired LetMeCode to develop our interactive website as well as our iOS and Android application.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a highly available application, a low cost infrastructure, and an easy to manage application that solved all of our technological problems.
How did you select this vendor?
After an exhaustive search on different online coding resources, we landed on LetMeCode. After some discussions we chose them to be our developer.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They helped us design and configure our back end database and compute environment, then proceeded to develop the application to fit into the predetermined parameters we set for the project. We started out slow with a basic version of the app and began to bolt in features as time progressed, as well as any bug resolution.
What was the team composition?
We focused our development with two particular individuals who were seemingly always available and brought our product to life. There were more assets available to us if we needed them. We would bring in more resources as needed - so we were able to scale up and down as our needs dictated.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Without LetMeCode, we wouldn't have a product. We haven't thought twice about finding another developer, as their deliverables, and speed of delivery proved their abilities, over and over.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We focused on using Asana for project management and communicated via Slack for real time needs.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The fact they seem to always be ready to help us, day or night, was quite impressive. They always came up with quick, logical solutions, as our team is comprised of technologists who just don't code. Having them be able to take our ideas and thoughts and put them to code was great.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think the single thing we should have focused on initially was including regression testing right into the code base. We talked about it later when we began to port over to Android, but it was just going to be too difficult at the time.
That being said, we originally left it out due to costs anyway, but it may have been wiser to just do it from the beginning and eat the cost as it would have had longer term benefits. Other than that, they were amazing.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the mobile team lead for a company that offers a taxi service.
What challenge were you trying to address with LetMeCode?
We needed to build an app for Android and iOS.
What was the scope of their involvement?
LetMeCode developed our Android application using Google Architecture Components. They’re using the VIPER architecture for iOS. We handled the architecture of the Android and iOS apps while LetMeCode took care of the development based on our recommendations.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with two iOS and two Android developers, all of them good. I’ve mainly worked with their team leads.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe we’ve spent $13,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with LetMeCode in June 2018. The iOS project is still ongoing, and it’s about 99% complete. The Android app took three months to complete and was released to the Play Store two weeks ago.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since launching the Android version, we’ve attracted 1,000 users. It’s still early, so I believe we’ll gain many more users.
How did LetMeCode perform from a project management standpoint?
Everything went according to plan on the Android side, but we’ve had some problems with iOS due to design changes on our end. It wasn’t LetMeCode’s fault; we realized that the app was too difficult to use.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve mainly worked with their team lead, but LetMeCode has excellent programmers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.

iOS & Android Dev Outsourcing for Financial Software Company
“LetMeCode’s hunger for success is unique among their competitors.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO and founder of Fiskl Limited, a SaaS company that provides software for small businesses in 105 countries.
What challenge were you trying to address with LetMeCode?
We were looking for a top development firm that offered both web and mobile services. Even though we have a strong department in-house, we also needed a flexible outsourced team. When we engaged LetMeCode, we were redeveloping our whole platform from scratch. Having just secured a massive investment and received extensive customer feedback, we were ready to launch our product worldwide.
What was the scope of their involvement?
LetMeCode provided developers to build features for two platforms. They used Swift for iOS and a type of Java specific to Android. Creating interactive graphs that let users review past and projected finances demanded a high level of coding talent from the team.
The massive six-month redesign was quite challenging. We didn’t engage them for design, but we definitely discussed it. Including beautiful images helped ensure our financial software wouldn't be boring for small businesses.
LetMeCode provided feedback to ensure our product was viable from a development perspective. They continue to offer useful suggestions and identify whether our visions for design and new features are feasible.
What is the team composition?
Two developers from LetMeCode are on a permanent contract as full-time members of our team. When we need more support, they help us secure additional developers. During a more intense phase of development, four additional engineers worked with us for about 4-6 months.
As we scale up our team, we plan on going back to LetMeCode. We love the quality of their resources, interaction, and engagement and hope to retain them for long-term contracts. Having a relationship built on trust makes it easy to engage skilled people.
How did you come to work with LetMeCode?
Our CTO comes from an investment banking background and has high standards for the coders we add to our team. Rather than using a cheap offshore team, we were willing to pay a premium for high-quality service. We interviewed companies from around the world, including India, Europe, and the U.S.
After posting our project on Upwork, we received 200 applications and selected LetMeCode from our shortlist. They had outstanding developers that worked independently. The option to hire them for a long-term contract was a strong selling point.
How much have you invested in them?
We engage LetMeCode on an hourly basis. On average, we spend $10,000 a week, but the cost varies and can range up to $14,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since October 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
LetMeCode excels when it comes to delivery. They took our challenging design concept and rendered it perfectly, pixel by pixel. The app looks amazing. According to enthusiastic customer feedback, people absolutely love the design.
LetMeCode is incredible, especially for a contracted team. They delivered on time and worked hard to do an excellent job on our project. They’re highly motivated and felt like a part of our team. Our CTO is exceptionally pleased with the code quality, as well.
How did LetMeCode perform from a project management standpoint?
LetMeCode uses an effective process for their engagements. They market their people effectively when they apply to projects. From my perspective, they function as a professional and unified team even though they flag independent developers.
The team is very easy to work with, responsible, and present. They always let us know when they can’t attend meetings or if issues arise. Dedicated and disciplined, they've delivered on time and exceeded expectations. I can’t say enough positive things about them. We’ve worked with many development teams, and LetMeCode has been the best aside from our in-house engineers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
LetMeCode’s best strengths are the quality of their education and experience. They have an impressive caliber of employees. All of them are quite experienced, not only from a coding perspective but also at interacting with companies and working on massive projects. They’re very collaborative and were never resistant to our suggestions. Working with LetMeCode has been one of the best experiences we’ve had.
Are there any areas they could improve?
LetMeCode’s hunger for success is unique among their competitors. Companies who work on a salary are rarely as motivated.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I advise future clients against negotiating the rate. LetMeCode’s developers are commensurate with the staff at top companies like Google. Fair compensation is motivational and will help you retain engineers. Involving them in engaging projects they can own end-to-end is more worthwhile than simple 1-2-month tasks or routine fixes.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a management assistant at Mühlemann & Popp Online Media AG, a company that develops digital business models. Investors with a business idea contact us, and we combine their domain expertise with our technical knowledge to develop web or mobile applications.
For what projects/services did your company hire LetMeCode?
We hired LetMeCode to develop a mobile application for Android.
How did you select this vendor?
We have worked with LetMeCode before, and our collaboration was highly satisfactory.
Describe the project in detail.
LetMeCode was responsible for the development of the Android application. They made an existing iOS app compatible with Android operating systems.
What was the team composition?
We worked with two of their staff.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The app has received excellent ratings on the Google Play Store.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We were quite satisfied with the workflow. Even though we are based in Switzerland and LetMeCode is in Russia, we did not experience any language issues.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their efficiency and high-quality output were impressive. In addition, the cooperation was highly professional and pleasant.
LetMeCode's delivery speed, work quality, and availability built considerable trust between the teams. Including regression testing into the codebase from the beginning would have eased things later down the line. However, LetMeCode's ability to quickly come up with logical solutions made up for it.
