Introduce your business and what you do there
I am the co-founder of a website that features a directory of local farmers. Our goal was to support them through the COVID-19 pandemic by connecting them with their customers.
What challenges were you trying to address with Leenspace?
We needed someone to develop an e-commerce platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Leenspace developed an e-commerce site for us. We first had an initial discovery phase where we talked to the team about the issues we were looking to address. Additionally, we gave them our users' requirements.
The Leenspace team then helped us find the best solution for our needs. They moved on to the development phase and eventually delivered the first iteration of the website.
We then shared the site with our users to gather feedback. Based on our customers' responses, Leenspace finalized the site by adding more functionalities to the app.
What was the team composition?
We worked directly with the two co-founders.
How did you come to work with Leenspace?
W had seen some of their previous projects. In addition, someone recommended them to us, so we contacted them. We decided to work with them because they understood our needs very quickly.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent about $4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from March–December 2020.

They really understood our needs. After the Leenspace team launched the site, our clients experienced a twofold to threefold increase in sales.

Their project management was excellent. Leenspace was incredibly accessible and even met with our clients, which was very valuable to us. In terms of communication, we primarily used WhatsApp.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder of Seedorina, an agriculture company. We sell things like seeds, peat moss, percolators, and more.
What challenge were you trying to address with Leenspace?
We needed someone to develop our mobile app and export APIs from our robots. These robots move and sow seeds, and they’re pretty difficult to handle. We needed them to inform the productivity of the platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Leenspace has developed our native mobile applications for Android and iOS. Our app controls the robots, so we need it to perform perfectly. Not only does it manage the data, but it also updates information on the robots and exports APIs.
First, we designed the wireframes. They did a second phase, which was a simple marketplace. We needed to include a catalog so customers could decide what to buy. However, it didn’t have payment associated because we worked with our internal system.
They currently maintain the platform for us. We’ll be using them for new development for the platform.
What is the team composition?
We interact with two developers. They’re both great people, and they’re open to discussing everything. We like working with them.
How did you come to work with Leenspace?
I also work for a software company in Uruguay. I met Fernando (Co-Founder) because we were hosting some end-of-career sessions. I was very impressed with his work.
When we needed to develop an app, I remembered him. We called him and decided to hire Leenspace.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $25,000–$30,000. We pay a monthly maintenance fee.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2020, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The original requirement was to work with a serverless platform. We were experiencing a delay with updates, so we talked to them about making changes. They were always ready for that, and their suggestions were very appropriate. It works great now, and the app layout is much better than what we’d designed. Overall, they’ve known what to offer even when we don’t know what to ask for.
How did Leenspace perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication is great. We use several channels: phone, email, Google Meet, Zoom, and face-to-face meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They build amazing platforms, but they don’t oversell their work. Leenspace is honest about what they can and can’t do.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They need more experience. We’ll continue to work with them, but they need to work with more people.

Listen to them.

I am the Founder of Coshowroom. A company that for more than two years has been dedicated to offering value-added services to fashion brands whose main sales channel is online. We resolve non-core business issues such as stocks, merchandise movements, separation of payments between customers and suppliers and self-management between different public and physicall stores.
For what projects/services did your company hire Leenspace, and what were your goals?
We had hired leenspace to build up our whole ERP for self-management and client relationship interface.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our main problem was the great administrative work that includes the management of so many clients with different (and limited) stock in each of our stores. The main complication was financial, where collecting and paying meant an unsustainable tax and financial cost in the long term. Then the integrations between the sales channels and today, generating a database and integrations with online sales platforms.

the scope of work increased as the business grew. Leenspace accompanied us in this regard, gradually growing in investment and solutions. We started with a payment software, which solved a one-time (and urgent) problem and now the scope already covers the entire organization.

There were 2 people: Ignacio and Fernando. Both of them directly involved with our business needs and particular ones.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Basically, Leenspace delivered a 30% more profitable business in less than one year.

They followed the entire process closely, being very clear about the weekly and monthly objectives, designing and explaining each step so that we could understand and discuss it, and participate in the stages of finding group solutions for the final deliverable.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Leenspace gave me the perfect combination between Business strategic vision and the technological ability to achieve, in a creative way, the best results. Leenspace has been able to develop the custom software we needed for my company in Argentina. It's Coshowroom. We shared a lot of worktables with a clear working Gantt, clear milestones, and no delays. Thanks to leenspace, today I have a 30% more profitable business!
