A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager of a wealth management and investment firm that focuses on financial planning and retirement for high-net-worth individuals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Learngistics?
We partner with accounting firms and work on a referral basis with their clients, so we were looking for someone to help us hold a conference to bring in new accounting firms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Learngistics helped us strategize and execute a virtual conference. They organized and maintained all technical aspects to deliver an effective event. We initially discussed the requirements for the event, such as the length of the conference and the number of speakers who’d be participating.
They then created a work fact schedule with all the deadlines and deliverables. They implemented STAGE TEN, Zoom, and Wonder as the main platforms for the conference. Moreover, they also built an interactive website where people could click through and visit each room in the conference.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Louis (President) who helped with the initial onboarding, a point person, and a producer.
How did you come to work with Learngistics?
They were referred to us by a branding consultant who had Learngistics as a client. We found that they were the right company to help us because they were very professional and they clearly understood our goals.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $10,000 CAD (approximately $8,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from July–September 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Learngistics helped us achieve our attendance goals for the conference and had a number of follow-ups from interested prospects after the event. The conference itself was very smooth despite some minor hiccups we couldn’t control, and we’ve also received a lot of positive feedbacks from our attendees.
How did Learngistics perform from a project management standpoint?
Their performance was great. They were very good at keeping us accountable for what we had to provide them, and we never had to wait on them for anything — it was very well-managed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed with how smoothly the event came together. It took a lot of work in the backend, and the fact that it was executed seamlessly was a huge benefit for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing is really coming to mind at the moment, as we really had a good experience working with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say to leave yourself a lot of time to get the requirements of the project in order, because it’s always better if you don’t try to accomplish everything last minute. Engage Learngistics early and trust their expertise.

Virtual Event Planning for HR Firm
"I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — we had such a fun time with them."

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the manager of a human resources firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Learngistics?
Our employees are spread all over Canada and work remotely. During these COVID-19 pandemic times, it’s hard to feel a good connection with them, so we wanted to host a unique event that could go beyond a Zoom meeting to interact and engage with our employees.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Learngistics helped us host a social event that allowed us to engage and keep the morale high among our organization members. The event started with a comedian who gave a 30-minute show. Then people could choose between three different rooms; one was a lounge, another was a cooking demonstration, and the other was a tarot reading group. People could go from room to room —it was fun.
They provided us with an online platform and designed a lobby where our employees could go in and choose what they wanted to do.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Louis (President) most of the time.
How did you come to work with Learngistics?
I was already familiar with their work, and I reached out to them when I needed their services.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $7,000 with them on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from May–July 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The feedback from their work was overwhelmingly positive. People talked about it and were impressed with the unique and fun experience, which is what I was looking to provide.
How did Learngistics perform from a project management standpoint?
They were excellent in that area; they delivered as expected. We communicated via email and in-person meetings to ensure that everything was clear — they met all of my requirements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
At the beginning of the project, I didn’t have clear expectations, and they helped me set them. It was nice for me to see how we imagined something, and they delivered it as expected.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on — we had such a fun time with them.
Any advice for potential customers?
Survey your employees to help pick the events that they want the most.

Facilitation & Entertainment Services for Tourism Board
"They told us what they needed, we told them what we needed, and we had a great collaboration with them on the content."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the district sales manager at the Jamaica Tourist Board in Canada. We handle training, promotions, and advertising for destination Jamaica with our stakeholders and partners.
What challenge were you trying to address with Learngistics?
Travel agents are our primary constituents, so we wanted to bring them together to update them on the destination, as well as provide a bit of levity for them. These are challenging times for our retail partners so we wanted to find a third party that could facilitate that.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The partnership is almost like staff augmentation. We do training and make sure that our retail travel partners are able to advise their clients accurately, with the current protocols and options available for destination Jamaica — we also wanted to bring them some amount of destination knowledge in a fun way.
Rather than just a PowerPoint or have someone at a mic speaking, we also wanted to involve a bit of trivia and a bit of fun in the experience as well. We found that Learngistics was able to deliver that based on things they had done for other clients.
We’ve worked with them before with our travel partners, where they provide training and skills development for things like desktop publishing and writing proposals. We know that they have that kind of skillset available to them, so we’ve engaged with them in our total destination promotion and knowledge in part to the agents before.
What is the team composition?
We work with about three people from their end.
How did you come to work with Learngistics?
We had done work with another company in the past and Learngistics was part of that company.
How much have you invested in them?
In total, I think we’ve spent over $10,000 CAD (approximately $8,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We had our first engagement with Learngistics in April 2020, and we’re still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are satisfied with the work they have done and the projects we have done with them. They would be a preferred partner for us to select if we need support engagement with our clients.
Part of what they do in our projects with them is provide trainers for different activations and deliverables that we have depending on what topic we want to cover and what skillset we want to impart to our constituency. For example, the last time we worked with them, we had Johnny the Trivia Master, and our clientele asked who he was and said that he was the best trivia master they have ever had. He is someone that was sourced by Learngistics. We told them what we were looking for, what the deliverables were, as well as our expectations. Based on the profile of our clientele, they were able to find someone who met the specifications, and the outcome was satisfactory for all concerned.
How did Learngistics perform from a project management standpoint?
One of the things that’s very important to us when we run these projects, is to make sure that our stakeholders and partners understand the deliverables, and what we want to achieve at the end of the project. We found that they were very attentive and very much involved. For example, at our last trivia evening, they were very involved in the content — they told us what they needed, we told them what we needed, and we had a great collaboration with them on the content. They ran everything by us, so we weren’t surprised by anything, and we were kept abreast of what the project deliverables would be.
We use their services on an occasional basis. It’s based on what our circumstances are and what activities we have in the marketplace at different points in time. We don’t have a roster of project items to go through per se, but whenever we need to engage our primary clients, Learngistics is one of the companies we look at to help us.
We primarily communicate through email and occasionally when we need to have some clarification, we call them on the phone — they are very responsive.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One thing that I found to be very interesting is how much Louis (Founder & Learning Advisor) is involved in the client’s life. Sometimes you deal with a company, and you are usually dealing with an administrative person or an operations person — we found that Louis is very involved in the project as well. We knew that our project had the top attention of the principals there, so that was very useful, and we found it to be an advantage.
Are there any areas they could improve?
From our perspective, we were happy with the engagement, so we can’t identify what we thought was a deficiency. Before coming across Learngistics, we didn’t know very much about them, but now we do. Maybe they need to get their name out there so that more people will be aware of their services.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Know what your deliverables are from the beginning and communicate that clearly and effectively — we found that it to be very productive and very useful for us. Sometimes when we work with third parties, they are accustomed to doing things their way, and they know what they want to do, but it doesn’t always meet the expectations of the client.
Be very transparent and very thorough at the project conception, and make sure that you articulate clearly what it is you want out of the engagement, so that the proper tools may be applied to the project and the appropriate outcomes are received.
