Zeelander
Zeelander - is an exclusive sport yacht builder from the Netherlands. They faced a huge challenge - complete company rebranding. Our task was to create a modern and outstanding visual identity with a premium touch and design a website for a new yacht model.
The visual identity was inspired by the tranquil sea atmosphere and elegant yacht designs. Gorgeous reflections of waves and light, which can be seen on the side of the yacht, became a core reference for graphics. Through it, we managed to reflect the peaceful atmosphere of boat trips, but also make the brand image a bit mysterious, sexy and daring.
For the logo design, we repeated the iconic curves of Zeelanders yachts to build a stronger connection with the product. But we also took care of an elegant and premium look.
For the website design, we used storytelling to help potential clients slowly fall in love with a new yacht model - Zeelander 5. Through the story, we were able to demonstrate all the diligence and craftsmanship around the boat-building process, highlight the core benefits of a new yacht, and simultaneously show tiny details, that prove Zeelander’s devotion to high quality. But what is even more important from a brand perspective, we’ve managed to create an atmosphere of desire and passion. That is exactly what we aimed to do with the client!

Telescope Live
Telescope Live is an innovative company aiming to make astrophotography more accessible and easier to observe for everyone. Its software assures celestial object observation using a remote network of professional robotic telescopes worldwide, equipped with the best cameras and filters for astrophotography. They give professionals and amateurs the possibility to work with constantly renewed data.
We were entrusted with redesigning an outdated Telescope Live application and a website. They ought to help users learn astrophotography, providing onboarding and transforming their curiosity into practical experience.
As a UI design solution, we’ve chosen a metaphoric concept of a sextant. It is an ancient tool for determining the angle between the horizon and a celestial body. The device consists of an arc of a circle marked off in degrees, and a movable radial arm pivoted at the center of the circle. We referred to this image while creating the design and used copper-alike colors and some sextant parts as graphic elements.
What’s important is that this tool may seem quite challenging to use, but actually, it is effortless to operate. We wanted to translate the same idea while developing the UX part of Telescope Live products, to underline that they allow seeing incredible and hard-to-comprehend celestial objects in real-time while remaining intuitive and easy to use. It was pretty challenging to think through the user flow for different kinds of subscriptions — free and paid, make an option to choose other telescopes and astronomical objects, and finally structure all the data collected in the most easy-to-access and user-friendly way.
And the result: we did it. Our partners successfully launched the web application and the marketing website.

Powerbuilding
PowerBuilding is a gym located in the US, New York, with an ambitious goal — to create a mobile application that would promote a holistic approach to building muscles and track the intensity of training, nutrition, and health of young athletes engaged in power training.
These three sections form the core benefits of the mobile application. At the same time, the scientific methods of users' data collection and analysis would help provide personalized recommendations and check individual progress.
Thus, our task was to create a visual identity for the gym and UX/UI of the app based on a holistic approach that covers three functional areas: Workout, Health, and Nutrition.
Visual identity and UX/UI design were inspired by comparing these training approaches to the experimental lab. Fonts are associated with a power of strength and the power of science. Colors — red and blue but in a gradient, look like a chemical diffusion of growth & progress. Graphics are based on simple & easily recognizable objects — a line, a circle, and a curve. These elements remind of a man/woman holding a barbell when combined in a logotype.
We’ve also thought through the UX part for all the app features, which contain all the daily routines with a training plan, a daily meal plan, medications intake recommendations, health points — to help gain power first and build muscles next.
As a result, we’ve designed an equally strong visual identity for the gym franchise and the pocket lab-app, which collects lifestyle data and provides recommendations for the people who want to build up their Power.

Vivadogs
Vivadogs is a Spanish brand that sells monthly subscription boxes with 5-6 products for dogs and cats: food, toys, snacks, etc. The mission is to make dogs happy and offer the best possible nutrition at the best price to make their lives better, happier, and longer. Vivadogs provides a customized approach to each dog.
Our design task was to create unique packaging that would reflect an individual approach to each dog. During the brainstorming stage, our team noticed that just like each person has a unique fingerprint, each dog has its own & unique nose print. So we based our design on the metaphor — 'we are like a dog's identificator.' And here's how we reflected this identification through design.
Foremost, we integrated unique stickers with pets' names into the packaging in an unusual way, turning the regular unboxing into a special ritual. Illustrations for stickers contain circled dog face shapes to create a kinder look and cuteness, expressed with mimics.
Concerning the website design. Speaking of the UX part, we were challenged to design a questionnaire to collect the dog's information — race, weight, age, asks if it is allergic to any components, etc. That allows the customer to get a customized diet plan based on the dog's unique nutritional needs. The website offers monthly dog subscription boxes to provide customers with well-balanced nutrition for a fair price.
It also allows them to calculate the diet and get individual prices for their subscription. There is a possibility to analyze and predict the dog's evolution according to its breed, size, age, and weight. It helps to adapt their diet automatically, but of course, customers are free to change the amount of food they want to receive.
Our UX team created a personal profile page on the website, where clients can track their parcels and be aware of when, where, and how their food will be delivered.

Holly Health App
Holly Health is a mobile application that helps develop the proper healthy habits for long-term wellbeing; it is also a compassionate health coaching service invented by a team of psychology, neuroscience, and health coaching experts.
The app helps acquire habits by a special approach — training users through the regular achievement of small actions for significant long-term results.
It's always easier to start something alongside a friend. Our design task was to create a character that would assist, motivate, and guide users, but what's important is to do its best for self-improvement too. And we came up with a friendly image of a human-like bird named Holly, which strives to develop its essential skill and turn it into a daily habit — the ability to fly.
Holly has plenty of scenarios to react to, depending on a person's mood through the Conversational User Interface: to cheer up, support, motivate, challenge, etc. Right in the chat, Holly can send helpful articles and tell jokes.
On the Home Screen, users may find active habits chosen from four main categories — Nutrition, Activities, Mental health, and Sleep; valuable materials; a mood tracker; various diagrams to check their progress and stay motivated.
As a result, we've designed a Holly Health app just as it was expected to be. The one which helps people invest efforts into their new way of life but never go over limits. They are guided by a tiny, friendly, but head-strong bird, which will eventually fly on. Users understand they're on a long-run track but feel more confident, healthier, and motivated to perform their own 'flight'.
They are aware — you cannot acquire something timeless in a short amount of time. Happiness and joy are ongoing processes of self-improvement and self-care.

Skvot
Skvot is an online school that helps acquire or enhance essential tools and skills for professional growth in a creative industry alongside the best creators/teachers from advertising, media, film, and art.
Our main task was to redesign the architecture of their website, which was pretty messy at that time: many unnecessary sections and useless details. It lacked structure and intuitive UX patterns. By improving the website's user experience, our partners expected to increase conversion rates, filter out inactive clients, and work only with interested ones.
We started by analyzing the current page for each block, using tools such as Hotjar, Heat map, and checking user scroll. Then we applied the Customer Development approach by interviewing the TA — potential students of a school.
As a result, it helped us identify weaknesses, and improve visual representation and copywriting of the core website points: we successfully optimized its's structure and sequence of sections. And finally, we've enhanced the purchase funnel and applied the school's brand identity to maintain its visual recognition.

Muso
Muso is the world's first credit verification platform for music professionals. Every songwriter, producer, engineer, vocalist, artist, musician, and music professional can manage their music credits 100% free. The app contains credits for over 50M+ tracks and 8M+ artists. Cool, right? But before Muso became the Muso, it had a design that didn't differentiate the app from other music services. Muso looked pretty average and plain.
Our main task was to develop a completely new design concept that had not been used by anyone else in the industry but didn't confuse 1500 active users already familiar with the product at the same time.
Concerning the UI part. We've chosen the metaphor of a rhythm. Cuz, after all, everything around us has its rhythm (heart beating, breathing, day and night cycles, year seasons, and even objects placed in the room).
Concerning the UX. Several testing iterations on existing users gave us many insights to provide the best UX solutions. The app required a more comfortable user flow. At this stage, we focused only on the functionality and behavior of the app. The team aimed to develop an intuitive and structured app for music professionals, so users could easily create, analyze and work with their projects.
The Muso was created to allow users to get information equally — about famous artists and beginners. We've made the user flow of the identity verification and claiming process much easier; users got the possibility to check and filter a wide range of analytics according to their needs; made empty state screens more graphically and aesthetically pleasing by using green color.
And last but not least — music professionals became able to share a preview of their profiles on social networks that were designed accordingly.
Since the music industry didn't have apps like Behance or Dribbble, we understood the absolute need to help beginners in becoming recognized via the Muso app.

GEO Protocol
Our client has developed the GEO Pay application to scale the valuable assets exchange technology — the GEO Protocol. The main essence of technology is the registry — there is a decimal value assigned to each currency.
We had to create a non-trivial visual solution in the field of cryptocurrencies without any mainstream references to networks, graphs, bitcoins, etc. We came up with an interesting option. For each digit, there was a unique visual display — a square that is divided by the number of parts corresponding to this digit. Circles represent the nodes (network members). There are always two circles between these digits.
So, using our dynamic graphics approach, our client flew to the USA, and while on the exhibition, kept us updated on lots of praises from other people regarding their new corporate identity.

InList
Syragon itself is a development studio that conducts only a few projects at a time but with the highest quality possible. We’ve worked on several projects together — InList is the most significant one. InList is a high-end platform for booking nightlife, exclusive parties, concerts, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
Our task was to complete a rebranding and re-UX of an existing product. We had to create a design that will meet the target audience’s needs and expectations and will suit all of its specifics.
As a result, we designed high-end brand identity, and its implementation in the web version, mobile application, and marketing website. The team is still deploying the digital part of the project.

Synergy Specialists
Synergy Specialists is a platform that matches dentists and clinics so that clinics can invite dentists for atypical complex procedures for their clients and organize this process.
The goal was to enter the market where everyone is accustomed to the highest level of quality. Accordingly, a high level of design to look as prestigious as possible is necessary. Also, a convenient UX is a must so that clinics can find specialists, organize this process, and conduct appointments and statistics on visits, keep track of internal reviews about specialists, etc.
As a result, we delivered a high-quality brand identity that was used for the product announcement on the corresponding exhibition and helped to impress a potential target audience. Later we created a marketing website, e-commerce website, and designed the matching platform for the organization itself. The platform is still under development, but the identity has already been a big part of a positive impression on the potential target audience and starting to build recognition.

PIX Backpack
PIX Backpack is the first LED pixelized backpack with a programmable screen.
Our goal was to design a brand identity for the backpack where you can display images, animations, widgets, and play games. Then, we had to implement the created identity into a mobile application with a pixel-by-pixel drawing module. This way, Pix customers can customize their backpacks as they wish.
As a result, we redid the design of the project three times, working on the possible improvements. The final result turned out great, and people are actively using the product. By the way, you can take a look at the app here: https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/pix-backpack/id1363522351

Blaize
Initially, our client's company name was InCrypto.
Our task was to create new branding, from a new brand platform, naming and copywriting, and to the visual identity. We wanted to get away from the names consonant with Crypto because this market was highly discredited, but our client had an extremely professional team of the blockchain experts.
Considering that this team can do almost impossible things with the help of blockchain technologies, we moved forward with the Magician archetype. As to the naming, Blaize is consonant with burning. As a visual solution, we chose the dynamic graphics approach that displays the chemical combustion process.
As a result, we designed a unique identity, website, and presentation template for clients; with these tools, our client is now promoting his brand in the outsourcing services market.

Ignilife
Ignilife is a mobile application that challenges its users to lead a healthier lifestyle and shows an assessment of their health on average by company, age, country, and world.
We had to create a gamified design that will engage the users and encourage them to complete the quests.
So, we delivered the light restyling of the corporate identity and designed the mobile application, its web version, and the marketing website. You can find the mobile application itself here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ignilife/id929115195

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the COO at Sericin Limited, a software startup based in Hong Kong building a comprehensive Commercial Real Estate Leasing Transaction and Management Tool
For what projects/services did your company hire League Design Agency?
Our platform will be a drastic change to the way commercial leasing is done today. To make this transition easier for the user we were looking for a team of designers who would join us in the journey of discovering the actual design needs, by understanding in detail the UX requirements and building intuitive and beautiful UI on top.
How did you select this vendor?
We interviewed a number of providers and from our first meeting with LDA were struck by their professionalism and willingness to engage. The proposal that LDA made for our project let us feel "we are in good hands, they have done this before". And we couldn't have been more right.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project started with us simply explaining our product, our customers' needs and then working through the different parts of the platform to create a intuitive UX, relying on recognizable patters, so that users can quickly generate a sense of familiarity. LDA had amazing ideas and through working with them we made numerous adjustments to structuring workflows because what and how they recommended it made more sense from a user perspective.
We then moved on to UI work where they analyzed the competitors designs, created a beautiful design metaphor and concept, which ticks all the boxes we were after: simplicity hiding complexity, an elegant workspace that is despite its complexity uncluttered and clear visual guidance.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We mainly worked with 3 contacts, one to discuss the business side of our work, a project manager who was our main touch-point throughout the process and our designer. Additional people were working in the background.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The entire process was nothing short of remarkable. Our first impression couldn't have been more accurate. LDA's work has always been on point, nothing gets lost and deliverables are on time. Even when talking through a complex set of UX flows in a 3-hour meeting every detail would be picked up in the next round of revisions. Where LDA thought that they had a better idea, they would present it, not blindly following client instructions.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our LDA team has never missed a deadline or even a meeting. If we needed more time it would be no issue and they would re-arrange their day. Meetings early or late it wouldnt matter, they always bring their A game and engage with a smile.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The whole process from beginning to end has been an exceptional experience, we couldn't have asked for more. Well planned, delivered on point. No work product they ever turned out for us received just lukewarm responses, it was only ever a question which shade of amazing would it be. Before LDA would present their initial thoughts on a particular item, everyone in our team would be itching to see it and without fail we would be impressed time and time again.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Absolutely not!

I am Inna Chut, founder of Skvot, an online education school, based in Kyiv, Ukraine. We launched more than 50 online courses in two years in field of design, advertising, illustration etc. with the best representatives of creative industry in Ukraine and worldwide.
For what projects/services did your company hire League Design Agency?
We hired League Design Agency for creating landing page for our new product – long -term learning programs for young сreatives who are just beginning with their careers.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The reason why we decided to cooperate with the agency was our previous project completed by this agency. When we met with Serhiy, business development manager, he showed me the clients brief version and the stages of work and I was really amazed by their approach. It was professional step by step description of the project and what is performed at each stage of the project. After that I decided to work with this team.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The project itself was divided into several parts. First we discussed the issues and challenges our current clients face. Next, we shared ideas about the perfect customer journey and how make it smooth and reasonable in terms of this particular project.
After the discussion and data collection stage, the team created and presented a prototype landing. They took into consideration any possible errors we could have made earlier when launching a new product into the market. Later, there also was a stage of minor edits and suggestions from our side, which was finished very quickly.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked as a team of three people all along the project execution. It included Serhiy, who is a business development manager, also a dedicated project manager and a web designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The project is ready to be launched and we are planning to do it later after the events our country is passing through in February 2022.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our development team passed on some clarifications and comments to the agency. The team took them all into account and agreed to review any possible requests even after the end of the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most inspiring thing in working with this design bureau was their attitude and approach based on full involvement in all stages of work, from the moment of presentation to the client, to delivering the final result. They considered every comment and suggestion, and I was pleased by their attention to detail and deep understanding of what will work well.
Overall, I can say I have never seen such a deep and thoughtful analysis in any design studio. At some point, it seemed to me that a team of 100 people was working on my project. I was pleasantly amazed by the result of the work, approaches to organizational processes and uplifting spirit or this team! I really want to be friends with all of these guys, they are really amazing! Сheck it out.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I have no particular comments regarding any improvements, each and every step of communication was smooth and we had a clear understanding from the day one.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the marketing manager at proSapient based in London. We provide primary research services for large consultancies and private equity firms.
For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?
We were looking for a design agency to guide us through a redesign of our website as well as an identity rebranding. We were specifically looking for a team we could partner with on an ongoing basis.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
After speaking to multiple agencies and reviewing League's portfolio it was clear they were a great fit for us. Their design process and hands on mentality were important factors for us making this decision.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We went through a series of phases including concept, reference and design. We had lots of long and detailed conversations with League to ensure they felt comfortable with how our business operates as it is quite a niche industry. Once League were happy that they understood the ins and outs of our business they provided us with a concept metaphor we could use to portray proSapient in our rebrand and for our new website.
From here we were delivered various references and worked closely with the team at League to pick elements from a couple of the options that we wanted to feature in our rebrand. They combined everything perfectly and regularly sent options and updates throughout this phase. This is where we moved to the design phase and it was very exciting watching their ideas come to life.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had one main point of contact, Natalia, our project manager and acted as the bridge between us and the designers. We did have a number of designers also working on our project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are absolutely thrilled with the results! Our new website looks incredible, and truly embodies our new brand. The site is so user friendly and accessible to all users and we have had an incredible amount of positive feedback from both our employees and clients.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Natalia was absolutely fantastic! We could not have asked for a better team lead for our project. Communication was really open and she was always available to help answer questions and fulfil requests. We had twice weekly check-ins once we got to the design phase and honestly there is nothing that could have been better. Flawless service!
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The flexibility and their ability to supersede our expectations by delivering changes and updates so quickly. Their style is unique and they gave us so much guidance and inspiration throughout the entire process.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No - everything was great and there was never a moment we didn't feel an immense amount of support.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the CTO for a Digital Marketing Agency that specializes in Lead Generation. We serve customers in several industries, but our focus recently has been renewable energy.
For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?
Our website has gone through several revisions over the span of a year. Every design iteration wasn't quite right and we needed to find an expert to help us with a redesign. We engaged with League Design Agency for guidance and help with the redesign of critical landing pages.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We spoke with several designers and even hired multiple on a trial basis. League Design Agency was not the first design company we collaborated with, but they were the first to take the time to understand what we business needed.
With their proficiency in design, it allowed me to be hands off and deliver a delightful experience at every design review.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We had a series of meetings with League Design Agency. During each meeting, we were asked questions about our company, vision, goals, and expectations. Through these initial discovery calls, League was able to extract the required information needed for them to work successfully on the design.
It felt slow to start, but they made up for it by providing designs that were near perfect and required very little input from us while they worked. Each design iteration has been provided with a presentation. I thoroughly enjoy these presentations and look forward to them.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We've worked with an Account Manager, Project Manager, Lead Designer, and a Team Lead. Total of 4 so far.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
League Design Agency's design for our landing pages have been the best we've received from everyone we've worked with so far. We still have to complete the development. However, the entire company is excited about the new designs.
In the time I've worked with them, they've demonstrated that they're experts in their craft. Every presentation I've been given has been thorough and thoughtful. They've provided a delightful experience from start to finish.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Our teams mesh really well. The first challenge we faced was timezone differences. We've been able to navigate the time differences between our countries and meet at reasonable hours for both companies. League has also been providing deliverables in Figma, which has been perfect for my development team.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They provide delightful experiences from start to finish, every step of the way. I look forward to their presentations during design reviews. Our meetings for new project kick offs are thorough and thoughtful. Quite a bit of time up front on every project to get to know you, your vision, and your goals.
It pays dividends in the end. The designs that were provided to me in a review were exactly what I wanted and needed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
League has a very specific process that works very well for them and design projects they accept. Since we're just now starting to work with League, our teams are still getting to know each other.
The only room for improvement that I can see if finding a way to streamline how League works with how my development team does. This will take more time working together to establish strong handoffs and building strong feedback loops between team members.

Please describe your company and your position there.
The company is engaged in selling spare parts for cars of Japanese brands throughout Ukraine. My role is Co-owner and Managing partner.
For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?
League Design Agency analyzed our old website, took into account our goals for the website redesign and followed their process to work out the new functional and aesthetic part of the website.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose from several companies that we found in Kyiv, and the League was advised to us by one of our employees interested in the world of design. We met and realized that they were our guys. Key factors: personal responsibility of the Co-owner of the company for the result, a good portfolio, and an excellent design process.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
First, the guys from the League analyzed the current site, talked to our customers, and conducted an expert assessment. Then we proposed changes to the site structure, coordinated them with our SEO consultant, and then developed Wireframes. When we realized that the structure was great, the guys moved on to visual design, which turned out very well too. Then they accompanied us at the stage of implementation, performing architectural supervision.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The main contact person was the Project Manager, but the designer was also present at the meetings; sometimes, Team Lead was involved in solving especially difficult tasks.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I would especially like to emphasize one point. Since the selection of spare parts is not an easy task, and ordinary users (not mechanics) usually cannot cope on their own, we urge them to put goods in the basket and leave a request to select parts. After the guys revised the application form for selection, the conversion rate of this form increased more than 12 times.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The League team gave us updates once a week or more; communication was excellent and timely, and, most importantly, convenient. Usually, these were calls with a delivery demonstration, but we came to their office for essential presentations, taking advantage of the fact that we are in the same city.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The League team delved deeply into our project to reveal its uniqueness, bring to light a Unique Selling Proposition and create an aesthetic that will demonstrate our spirit and approach - assertive, concise, smart.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't point to any areas of improvement. The CEO of the League, Mike introduced us to good developers with whom we worked for a long time later, gave some advice on organizing work, and remained good friends.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Resco is an animal feed company from Belgium that produces complementary feed for cattle and poultry. I am the external communication manager.
For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?
My main task in Resco is to raise the brand awareness with the end client. However, we didn't have a clear positioning or identity. I hired League Design to help us with creating a unique identity (rebranding), including new labels, brochures etc.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I made a job post on Upwork on which I got numerous responds and also talked to some local (Belgian) design agencies. I had interviews with a selection of agencies from Upwork and decided to go for League Design based on the presentation of their agency and clear way of working. They were very fast in their communication and the price was competitive.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We started with some intial messages back and forth on Upwork after which I filled in a thorough questionnaire. During this Discovery Stage we had multiple online meetings to align our needs and visions: a boodboard was created, competitors analyzed, etc.
After all of this we had a direction where we wanted to go to, which they elaborated in the concept creation. The concept included visuals, colours, fonts, graphics and other layout elements. After all of this the design was created and translated to the branded carriers such as labels and brochures. They finished with creating our brand guidelines.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with 4 people, but most of the project was done with 2. The initial messages and interview where done with an account manager. The biggest part of the project was done with 1 project manager and 1 designer. During a holiday another project manager jumped in.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The rebranding/design has just finished and isn't implemented yet. However, all feedback I got so far is very positive. We needed a clear housestyle and League Design delivered it.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was very easy working with League Design. During all stages we had several online meetings and every friday they send an email with their work during that week.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
It was like the designer lived in my head. She translated my ideas and wishes to a great design. Ofcourse these ideas where also fueled by their great research. They are very creative and take their time to create uniqueness.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In their initial offer they forgot a part of my demand, so this had to be adjusted. Not a really big deal, but it can be annoying for comparing offers on a budget.

"They really understood what we were looking for, as opposed to just trying to strike lucky from the beginning."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Cinch Studio.
What challenge were you trying to address with League \ Design Agency?
We needed a new website to showcase a client’s business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
League \ Design Agency provided us with web and UI/UX design. Initially, we wanted something similar to a high-end website like Apple’s. We outlined what we wanted and League \ Design Agency worked from the briefs that we sent — which were vague outlines of how we wanted the site to perform and look. We looked to them to choose the creative direction and take our brief one step further.
What is the team composition?
I had a main point of contact, and I also worked with Alisa (UX/UI Designer).
How did you come to work with League \ Design Agency?
I listed the job on Upwork, and got around 126 different applicants. I looked at all their portfolios, previous works, and narrowed the search down to 12 firms and individuals. I then spoke to each of them personally, to get an idea of how they worked and what their capabilities were, and I chose League \ Design Agency after speaking to them and seeing their process a couple of times.
How much have you invested with them?
By the end of this project, it will probably end up costing us around $12,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–May 2021. They’ve wrapped up on the design aspect, but now they’re helping us with ongoing support. We’re going to keep them on board as part of our team moving forward because things change all the time.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’ve worked with many designers in my 20-year experience, and I’ve never worked with somebody who’s had such a fluid and thorough process. League \ Design Agency’s results had substance, and they came from the process that they had in place — they started from the very basics, and worked their way up. I’ve never worked with this kind of process before, it was such a unique way of doing things, but it worked amazingly well.
When they started doing the design, they really understood what we were looking for, as opposed to just trying to strike lucky from the beginning. They really got it because they built the foundation to do the design process. Instead of me having to do the work to get them in the right place, they did all the groundwork to get to that position themselves. They didn’t just do what we wanted them to do, they went a step further.
How did League \ Design Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They used Figma for the different stages of the development, and we had meetings in Zoom and communicated mostly over emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive thing about them was the process they had in place, which enabled them to come up with designs that have substance.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only constructive feedback I can give is their communication. English isn’t their first language, but I understood that when I took them on this project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would say to just trust the process. Some people might think that some of the earlier stages of the work might have too many details, and they just want to get cracking with the actual design side of things. However, if they stick to the process, they’re going to have better results in the long run.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Business Development Incharge at Illuminations Well-Being Center. We are Wellness & Wellbeing Center located in Dubai.
For what projects/services did your company hire League \ Design Agency?
We were looking to refresh our brand and the most important aspect of this was the website as we had serious issues with the overall UX & UI of our old website. We approached League to help us move in the right direction and create a website that would be top in UX & UI
How did you select League \ Design Agency and what were the deciding factors?
We were looking for different vendors through up works, out of which we have selected 6 of them, League Design being one of them. Out of the 6 vendors why League Design stood out to us was because of their approach towards our business. They were really attentive in understanding our concerns and problems with regards to our old website. Their past work portfolio was also a big deciding factor for us.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After signing the contract we kicked off with a series of meetings aimed at understanding our brand and requirements. League then gave us 3 mood board designs that best represented our brand out of which we finalized on one concept. After the concept was finalized we had 3 design options and colors to select from on Figma. Post which we started working on the Frameworks on Figma.
Once we finalized the frameworks we moved on to the concept page design. After which we worked on all the other page designs and completed the project.
How many resources from the League \ Design Agency team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total, we worked with 3 members of the League Design team, One Account Manager, One Project in Incharge of the Website, and One Project in Incharge of Branding.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still in the process of Developing the complete website. But the overall design and the UI have already impressed the stakeholders and the employees. We had no problems in implementing their designs to convert them to our website code.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team was really knowledgeable and attentive to all our requests and concerns. She presented the whole concept and design along with the process really well and answered all questions we had patiently. We mostly communicated through What's App and Emails along with Video calls for meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I was hugely impressed by how the team at League Design understood and grasped the core values of our brand. Their design efficiency was above par and the final output was hugely impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, None. It was all done well.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an online business.
What challenge were you trying to address with League Design Agency?
Our company needed branding and design services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
League Design is helping us with the branding and design of our business. They’re also performing redesign services for our Instagram and YouTube profiles. They did a complete analysis of our market and competitors, and they also created a name and logo. Currently, they just finished with a set of brand guidelines for designers, so we can work with other designers.
What is the team composition?
We work with a designer, a strategist, a presenter, and a person in charge of finances.
How did you come to work with League Design Agency?
We found them on Upwork. We had interviews with other agencies, but League Design was cool and had a complete vision. Additionally, they explained how they were going to work and gave us a professional feeling.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around €6,500 (approximately $7,900 USD) with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working in December 2020, and the engagement is ongoing. They’re currently working with us on another project, and we plan to keep this engagement going.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re not in the metrics stage of the project yet, but I can say that the work they provide is well done; we can see that League Design spends a lot of time and effort analyzing the project to offer their own vision. The results are very satisfying and I’d give a score of 10/10 with this engagement — they do a pleasant job.
How did League Design Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through a group chat on WhatsApp. We talk about small organization details and provide important information. Once every few weeks, we have a Google Meets conference where they give detailed explanations of what they did, along with a presentation.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very clear and detailed whenever they explain something to us. Whenever we talk to someone from League Design’s team, it feels like they know what to do and how to do it. They’re very accurate and understanding of the process; they know how to take it and develop it. This is an unusual approach for us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We don’t think there’s something that they can improve.
Any advice for potential customers?
We definitely recommend working with them to get the most out of them.

Branding for Advertising Agency
“They try to match the client project with the desired projects of the designer and that’s really helpful.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an advertising agency with a specialty in advertising on Facebook and YouTube.
What challenge were you trying to address with League \ Design Agency?
I needed multiple high-quality design services for my brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did extensive research and discovery for the project. However, they focused primarily on the brand message, brand design, logo design, competitor analysis, benchmarking, and packaging design.
The project started out with an onboarding and scoping call with a wonderful liaison Julia (Project Manager), as well as the designer. They wanted to get an understanding of my brand’s products, brands that I liked, competitor brands, and analog brands. After this, they took the information that I gave them and they did a bunch of research into my brand and products, as well as the competitors and analogs.
They came back with a very detailed presentation of what was happening in the marketplace, such as what other styles and fonts were being used. We talked about which ones I liked and what I felt about the designs. Then they presented me with different iterations of those designs.
What is the team composition?
I worked with three different associates from League \ Design Agency.
How did you come to work with League \ Design Agency?
We came to work with them through an online search.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested somewhere between $6,000–$7,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in December 2020, and the project has concluded.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have evidence since I haven't implemented metrics to the designs they made. However, it was really top quality — as good as it can get.
How did League \ Design Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
Most of our communication was through Zoom, email, and Telegram. Also, toward the end of the project, I visited their office.
The biggest positive in working with League \ Design Agency is their amazing communication and transparency. They told me everything that was going to happen with an estimate of how long it was going to take. We had a weekly update of what was completed and how they were hitting the different milestones, and they were hitting them right on the spot.
If they said something would be done by a certain date, it was done. Overall they had excellent communication all the time. They were always communicating and were very responsive, even in different channels.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their level of communication, their work quality, and their transparency were all impressive. I've used a number of agencies, and League \ Design Agency put so much more into it. They're not just making something beautiful, since there was a rationale and a logic behind what they did — they gave meaning to their designs.
They love their work, and I think everything comes back to their hiring process. When they’re hiring people, they're very selective. Hundreds of people apply to work for them, and they go through a 28-day process to select somebody. Also, one of the questions used during their selection is: what is your dream project to work on? They try to match the client project with the desired projects of the designer. That's really helpful because they understand your vibe and the style that you want.
Another thing I found impressive was the cost. It was 30% less of what it would’ve cost for a big-name agency, and the quality was 100% better.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Nothing. I have zero complaints about their work, and normally I'm not scared to be critical. However, in this situation, they were perfect.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be very clear about what your hopes and dreams are, and don't be scared to communicate something that you don't like. At the end of the day, design is a subjective matter. It needs to be something that's going to please you, so communicate well what you want. Don't be scared to be critical of the design, so you're pleased with the end result.
The client was pleased with League Design Agency's performance — all deliverables were submitted always on time and on point. What's more, the team was proactive in terms of proposing ways to further improve the user experience. They were also flexible, professional, and hard-working throughout.
