Ken Schaffer Entertainment promo
I designed this marketing promotional piece was printed as both a hand-out flyer and a sign for vendor fairs. I worked closely with DJ Ken to get all the details down to impress his prospective clients.

The Dish Diet book cover
I designed the book cover of a self-published book about a patented weight loss system. The book is available on amazon.com. I designed the cover for optimal results for both print and online viewing.

Transform Communications logo
I worked closely with the web developer to design a style guide and new fresh logo for the website rebrand for Transform Communications.
The result was an updated clean, corporate look for this change management consultant.

Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health 2019 annual report
The president and CEO of this Philadelphia healthcare nonprofit commissioned me to design their 8 page annual report for 2019. I created a style guide, selected photos, designed the cover and interior following the rough layout and preferences of the GPBCH staff. The resulting design was both printed and output to a readable online document.

The Cleaning Ladies LLC
The owner of this successful family-owned cleaning services business approached me to update their stale, dated Wordpress website. While we were rebranding, I also designed a new logo for use on the website, marketing materials, and staff T-shirts.
The website also functions as client intake with an easy-to-use quote form directly connecting to the company email and CRM.

Design of Annual Reports for Business Coalition on Health
"In the years we’ve worked with her, it seems that Leslie has become more confident in her skills."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a president of the Greater Philadelphia Business Coalition on Health. We’re a regional employer coalition that works on improving population health. We do a lot of education, and then we represent employer interests in the region we serve.
What challenge were you trying to address with LBB Design?
We reached out to Leslie (Creative Director) because we needed to design an annual report. We’ve used her services for several years now. The annual report is a way for us to summarize what we’ve done for our current members and have something that looks good to share with prospective members and community organizations. The report spreads the word about who we are, what we’re doing, why it’s important, and how they can help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
During the first year, we had a bit of back and forth about what we wanted to do and how we wanted to convey it. We discussed what we wanted to emphasize and what would look good graphically. Leslie gave her insights on what she thought would attract additional members.
Each year, we produce the report for digital and print, but recently, we’ve decreased the number of print copies we order. Leslie has designed both versions.
We gave her the content, and Leslie would share pieces back and forth with us. We also asked for help in identifying a printer when we first started. She arranged that schedule and pricing for us.
One year, the printer made an error, and Leslie coordinated to make sure that was corrected at no charge.
What is the team composition?
Leslie works closely with me and my VP.
How did you come to work with LBB Design?
I knew Leslie through my congregation. When I had this need, I reached out to her.
How much have you invested with them?
Her graphic design services are between $3,000–$5,000 per year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together on the first report in March 2017. Because of COVID-19, we’ve been trying to figure out our schedule for this year.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our board of directors reviews the annual report each year. We’ve never received any negative feedback. My staff and I have been really happy with the look of it.
We use the report in all of our marketing efforts. Whenever we meet with a prospect or display at a conference, we always bring the report with us. It does a great job, in a visually appealing way, of showcasing what we do.
Leslie knows the right balance between text and graphics. She has a lot of experience.
How did LBB Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Commitments are taken seriously working with LBB Design. She’s been very good at meeting deadlines. If anything, there are times where Leslie is waiting on us. She’s very eager.
Most of our communication now is through email. We’ve worked together for many years and we have a model in place for the reports. When we first brought Leslie on, she came into the office and we went over a lot of different alternatives for how we might do everything. Now, we don’t need that same level of direct contact.
She’s very responsive to emails. When we have new ideas, she’s never obstructed our ideas. It’s easy to work with her.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Thinking back to when we first started, Leslie asked a lot of questions to ensure she fully understood and could make the best possible product. We were very pleased with the outcome.
In the years we’ve worked with her, it seems that Leslie has become more confident in her skills.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not really. We’ve never thought about working with anyone else. Her prices are reasonable, and we’ve been happy with the products.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Her personality is a little quirky. My advice to another potential client would be open to her questions. In the end, that will be worth it.
Each year, the report meets expectations. The client feels that it's a great visual representation of their services. LBB Design is responsive, communicative, and hardworking. Customers can anticipate an engaging working relationship with a skilled designer.
