A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former project officer for Communities for Children.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We needed someone to help us with app development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Launchpad was involved in developing our app from the inception of the idea. First, they walked us through what would initially happen, taking our idea and requirements to help us define our vision better. After that, we had a scoping phase, where we discussed the features we wanted to include and set out a roadmap.
Then, Launchpad designed prototypes for the app based on our feedback and direction. During the development phase, they gave us guidance on what we needed to do. They were involved in the whole process, including the UI/UX design.
The app is available for iOS and Android. It serves as a local service directory for the Greater Shepperton community, specifically targeted at our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This directory contains all the services available in the area for families with children in the early years, from prenatal to children in school. It also includes educational and informational content. The purpose of this directory is to allow families to find support from a local organization instead of having to Google services for their different needs.
What is the team composition?
Throughout the project, I worked with 4–5 people from Launchpad, depending on the different stages of the development. Among the main points of contact, I communicated with one of their owners.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
When I was first looking for developers, I did random searches and looked at different companies’ reviews. Launchpad was one of the companies I found, and I sent them an inquiry. Their response time was great; they got back to me very quickly.
Through our initial discussions, we found that they were very ethical and focused on social justice, and their mission was to contribute back to the community in different ways. They also showed us the past work they had done in other communities, which was very attractive to us.
Additionally, Launchpad told us about their program Closing the Gap With Tech. Through this program, they partner up with organizations, initiatives, and groups that contribute to improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people here in Australia. Thus, they provided us with a discount because our app was targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We received a lot of support from them, and they were very willing and happy to do that because of the bigger social implications and potential outcomes that this app could have.
How much have you invested in them?
We paid around $40,000 AUD (approximately $28,000 USD), but the discount we got as support was around 50%, so we received around $80,000 AUD (approximately $56,000) worth of services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We engaged with Launchpad around January 2020. I’m no longer working in the company, but Launchpad and my former company are still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The product I saw before leaving the company was phenomenal; it worked well and looked great. Overall, Launchpad’s work was of a very high standard and quality. Furthermore, this app will be a fantastic resource for the community. It will provide families with everything they need service-wise in our area and hopefully have some short-term and long-term benefits for our community.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
Launchpad was very supportive, and they took us through the process and all that it entailed. They were informative and educational about what it took to develop an app, and they were very transparent and detailed. Additionally, their project management was of high quality, and the reports they sent us were very thorough and professional.
Launchpad was always on time, and I didn’t experience any delays. We communicated over Basecamp, through which they provided us with updates. They also were always available by phone or email, but everything was contained in Basecamp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Launchpad’s accessibility and flexibility were impressive. Despite working in very different sectors, they were able to relay information to us and explain things in a way that we understood. They were also very accommodating, and the quality of their work was exceptional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Follow the process, maintain communication with them, and ask questions.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Wholesale It Auto, a B2B sales platform for car dealers. We will be launching our platform very shortly, where our users will be able to transact, buy, and sell cars.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We wanted to create this platform to attract more dealers and allow them to have access to more vehicles around the country. We also wanted to give those dealers a space to sell their cars, maximizing the profitability of their wholesale department.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Launchpad has been in charge of my whole platform’s development. Initially, they helped me come up with a very detailed business plan for this platform. They also spent a lot of time on that initial phase, ensuring that everyone was on the same page and ready for development.
During this process, I provided them with very basic ideas about what I wanted and some detailed descriptions of what I was looking for. They came back to me with great suggestions for improving my ideas and the platform’s UX based on the drawings that I had given them. It was a very iterative process during the first couple of months.
Then, Launchpad did all of the design work required for the website and the platform, and later, they moved into the development phase. They created a static website with information about our platform, where people could go in and find out what our business was all about.
During this stage, they used a lot of technology that they hadn’t used before, which was very cost-effective for me. All of the research that they did to achieve this was great.
This project has evolved from how it originally started. It started as a very simple project, but over time, it has become very comprehensive. It has required a lot of research from their side, as well as the combination of a number of assets that Launchpad has brought to the table.
For example, they also did market research, and they provided me with a guide on how to keep doing it myself to improve what we’re doing. Currently, we’re just a couple of weeks away from launch.
What is the team composition?
I’ve had direct contact with three people from Launchpad, including Dane (Co-Founder & Managing Director), who I met at the very beginning. I’ve also worked with Steve (Lead Product Strategist) and Jay (Co-Founder and Operations Director) who have been absolutely fantastic. Additionally, Launchpad has a team in the background that does a lot of the work.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
I initially found Launchpad through Clutch. I was looking for a company that could effectively do what I needed. During this research, I looked up some companies, but Launchpad was the first and only company I got in touch with.
We had a Zoom meeting, and I didn’t even bother looking at anyone else after that. Launchpad made me feel comfortable about what I wanted to do, and they reassured me that they could pull it together for me, so I was happy to go with them straight away.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in August 2020, and this is an ongoing project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Launchpad was able to create a platform with much better functionality than I would have ever been able to do, and the website’s design was far better than what I expected. It will be interesting to see if our users will use the platform as intended once we launch.
We want to see if our platform enables car dealerships to buy cars that they wouldn’t have bought otherwise without actually using Wholesale It Auto. Thus, it will also be interesting to see if this platform helps them search further and wider than before.
Launchpad has been an absolutely fantastic partner throughout this project. For example, I had a very tight budget because we were just a startup, so they used more affordable technology that they wouldn’t normally use. They’ve really worked with me to make my project fit within my budget.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
Launchpad has performed very well. They’ve offered great communication throughout the project, and they’ve made me feel as if my business was their business. They’ve always kept in contact with me so that I don’t have to chase them. I’m really happy with the team that I’ve worked with.
Launchpad has also done a lot of extra work for me that wasn’t part of the initial scope, which I’m hugely thankful for.
Our whole engagement, from start to finish, has felt very organized. The initial workshop and the things we did during the first couple of months helped us have everything ready before the development phase, ensuring that we were right and on track for this process.
I believe that our communication has been the key. Having the communication on point makes the rest fall into place. Launchpad has really listened to what I wanted, and they’ve found a way to make it happen.
We use Basecamp for project management, but we also have no problem getting on the phone and giving Jay a call on his mobile to talk through certain issues when needed.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Although Launchpad is the only company that I got in touch with, I don’t think I would have gotten a better level of service from anyone else. Maybe another company could have matched their skills, but I don’t know if anyone could match their customer service.
My project is very small compared to the others that they typically do. However, I’ve never felt like they’ve cut corners just because I’m paying less.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not that I can think of. If anything, I feel that the project has taken a little longer than initially expected. However, Launchpad has been using technology that they don’t usually use, and they’ve been doing extra work in between.
Extending the project’s timeline is not an important issue, and they’ve surely compensated for it in other areas. Apart from that, there’s nothing I would have them do differently; they should just keep doing a great job.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be really engaged in the project and with the team members from Launchpad. I get along with them very well, and I feel that they’ve taken extra care of my project because of this.
Treat them as business partners more than just someone you’re paying for a service, and show that you have passion for your project. Additionally, communicating with them regularly is important.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Support Your Way, a disability service provider organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We needed their team’s custom software development expertise.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Launchpad App Development supports our efforts to automate our disability support to a diversified, peer-to-peer market by developing a CMS platform and a mobile application for us. The CMS platform aims to streamline our internal operations, while the mobile app is intended for our users.
Their team has participated in the pre-development stages before implementing the software solutions we needed. They’ve helped build our prototype and worked in sprints to accomplish the full-stack development phase.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Launchpad App Development’s business development and project managers and a graphic designer.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
I found their team on Google while looking for potential developers to hire for this project. They were one of the teams that we shortlisted, and we soon decided to go with them since they were not only an attentive team, but they also had a reasonable price point.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $250,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in June 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Launchpad App Development has generated impressive iterations within reasonable turnaround times. We’ve confirmed the products’ reliable quality through user testings, and we’re excited to introduce these to our staff and customers.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Basecamp as our main project management tool. Launchpad App Development is a communicative and transparent team — the process has been going smoothly because of their professional approach.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’re most impressed with their clear understanding of our products. They implement tailored design solutions based on our requirements and the needs of our customers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re already a great team to work with, but they can benefit from more polished communication skills.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Work closely with their team to understand how close you are to achieving your goals.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a co-founder of Priceless Creatives.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad?
For our second venture, we had the ability to network the talent as well as the recording equipment. Essentially, we were looking for a partner to build the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Launchpad created our mobile app. The app has a motivation portion at the beginning to help customize it for a user’s stress points and sense of humor. There are two products within the app: sleep stories and daily de-stressors, which are short five-minute segments of comedians talking about stress points throughout the day. There are also male- or female-focused clips.
Users can click on “share to socials” if there is something in a segment that they’ve experienced or want to share. When they click the button, a timeline of the track is pulled up, and they can choose a 15-second section to share to Instagram, WhatsApp, or other social apps. The section will include a video loaded in the background to that segment. We can upload audio files and images on the backend. It’s similar to uploading audio tracks on video platforms. The app is integrated with Android and iOS, using their platforms for payment through the app.
What is the team composition?
We worked with four people. Dane (Co-Founder & Managing Director) and Steve (Operating Partner) worked to set up the project roadmaps. Jay (Co-Founder & Operations Director) has been my main contact, and Robert (Lead Growth Strategist) joined later in the project.
How did you come to work with Launchpad?
I found them on Clutch.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested $88,000 AUD (approximately $69,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around April 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have success metrics yet as we haven’t launched the app. We initially laid out each feature individually during the road mapping process. They have accomplished over 98% of those features, with the other 2% being unfinished through no fault of their own.
Launchpad blew my mind with the “share to socials” feature when they managed to build it. They are the most important middlemen we’ve ever needed because this app will be how we monetize the venture and create revenue. It wouldn’t exist without them. They have exceeded our expectations, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
How did Launchpad perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re communicative, always available, and responsive. We use Google Sheets, Basecamp, and phone calls for project management and correspondence. Their team has done extremely well with deadlines too.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re committed and trustworthy. It’s clear that they want to see us succeed with this as much as we want it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would like more face-to-face check-ins because more can be accomplished in a shorter time. However, we’re currently unable to because of COVID-19.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Focus on your roadmap because that’s when the blood, sweat, and tears happen. Launchpad is good at one-day workshops to build it. Take that seriously.

App Development for Software Company
"We’ve developed a good relationship."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and managing director of Liminal Wellbeing, a wellbeing application for schools.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We’ve created a novel product after we did a case study in Australian schools around the ability to gain real-time quantitative data on student wellbeing. We built a concept from that, and we went to Launchpad to design the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The app is meant to engage students and collect data for a wellbeing management program in the form of a web app. Schools can use it to identify any students that are struggling with issues. The student app includes a daily survey that covers students’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
The students can look at trends from their surveys and work on different actions to support their wellbeing. There are journal entry options and activities based on positive psychology. We have an insights section or newsfeed with videos, articles, and podcasts.
There is a function through which students can reach out to their schools for support, and that feeds information to the program overseen by the student wellbeing coordinator. They use that information to respond to the students through their mobile devices.
What is the team composition?
We worked face-to-face with four people from their team across different stages. We had no interactions with their team in India.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
I vetted a few app developers, and Launchpad invested more in learning about our project and how to do it cost-effectively. The other providers were asking for an upfront investment before that.
It was the catalyst for getting us to work with Launchpad. They helped us scope out our product and gave us a clear of where we’d be going forward.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested just shy of $200,000 AUD (approximately $152,000 USD)
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in August 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app is going to be worldwide, and we’re finalizing a few things. We’re doing our first trial in about four weeks across six schools in Australia. We’ll expand if everything goes well there.
The app is available for download, but no one can log into it without being part of the program. We work with the schools to upload all the student details into the system. Each school has an individualized portal, and they use administrative passwords to download and log into the app.
We don’t have any metrics yet, but the fact that we’ve gotten six schools signed up is in part due to the design and functionalities they’ve helped us build.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re using Basecamp for communication. The process is straightforward, and Launchpad responds to any queries or requests we may have. I haven’t worked with many tools like it, but Basecamp seems quite effective. We can upload and browse all documentation there.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve developed a good relationship. This is always important when working with an outsourced development company.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It wasn't easy to work with COVID-19, but Launchpad adjusted quite well. It didn’t affect our scheduling.
There was a bit more back and forth in terms of UI design than I would’ve liked. I would’ve preferred working it out through face-to-face interactions. It didn’t cost us money, but it did cost us time, and it was a bit of a frustrating process.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If the client can meet with Launchpad, I recommend working through the first design framework and scope of work during a workshop. We haven’t had many variations, but it’s always great to come in with a clear scope.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a co-founder of Horizon. We’re creating a platform to help functional fitness and CrossFit gyms manage their businesses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We noticed that Australian gyms didn’t have as much support through existing gym management software as US or European gyms largely due time differences and missing functionalities. We decided to create a platform to support Australian gyms.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, Launchpad held workshops to understand our requirements. They then went through the UI/UX design process. At the moment, their team is in the development and UAT phases. Everything will be custom-built.
Launchpad is developing web as well as native Android and iOS apps. They’re building newsfeed and social networking capabilities into the platforms. Their functionalities are specific to functional fitness gyms, so they include timetables and workout program tools. They’re also working on our website’s design.
What is the team composition?
Launchpad’s team works offshore and onshore. They have a 6–7 person development team located in India. We also work with a local project manager, Jay (Co-Founder & Operations Director).
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
I googled app development firms in Melbourne and received a couple of results. I didn’t have a positive experience with the first agency I contacted and then talked with Launchpad.
Dane (Co-Founder & Managing Director) was supportive, which was important to us because neither my partner nor I had software development experience. Launchpad was supportive and validated our ideas. I also liked their website. Their team was young, and we wanted to work with progressive people pushing for the latest and greatest.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent $280,000 AUD (approximately $213,300 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Launchpad in August 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Although it’s a bit early to talk about results, we took the prototype to a few of our beta customers. Those customers were impressed by the platform’s design, thoughtfulness, and functionality. Their team has been hands-on in addressing our needs throughout the whole project.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
We use Basecamp as our project management platform, and that’s how we send all of the documentation to them. We have sprint meetings with Jay every two weeks through Zoom.
Jay’s available anytime we need something. If we need to talk over a task, we jump on calls with him. He’s pretty hands-on too. Launchpad picked up on our preferences. My partner and I wanted to be super involved in the project, and Launchpad has catered to that. We’ve developed a great relationship over the past 18 months working together.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Launchpad believes in us and our product. Their team sees the benefits we’re trying to bring to our customers. Making our product as great as possible is a personal challenge to them. It’s made a difference, working with people that believe in our goals. Launchpad’s putting hard work and effort into this project to ensure it’s successful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At the moment, there aren’t areas of improvement for them. There are always ups and downs with app development. When priorities change, we communicate them to Launchpad. Their team has been able to adjust.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
My advice is to ask all the questions you have even if they seem silly. Launchpad can hold an inexperienced client’s hand and teach them how the process works. Their workshops are really helpful for people new to the industry. You will get out what you put into it. The more involved you are in the process, the more you’ll learn and the better decisions you'll be able to make.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Vanguard Risk provides security, crisis management, business continuity and organisational risk management services. I'm the founder and managing director of the company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Launchpad App Development?
Being a start-up, one of the primary stages was to establish our brand. Once the branding team nailed the brand design, we used Launchpad to develop our website. We also engaged Launchpad to assist with the development of an app.
What were your goals for this project?
A core task of our business is largely manual utilising a number of platforms. The app will streamline the process offering efficiency to our people and other end users when released to the market, in addition to adding value to our industry.
How did you select this vendor?
I found Lauchpad on the internet. I interviewed three app development companies, including Launchpad. Lauchpad were extremely impressive. I love the youth and energy they bring, but also the holistic, considered approach they take - they genuinely care and take pride in their work.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Given it's not released I don't wish to describe the app. However, I engaged Launchpad after I mapped out a concept for an app on slide deck. I sent that through to the team which offered the background; this was a reasonably detailed document. However, the team certainly didn't cut corners, they took me through their process to ensure they understood the problem and my proposed solution. This included a pre-workshop questionnaire, discovery workshop, post-workshop plan, product strategy, design thinking, execution plan with time frames which led to a prototype.
What was the team composition?
Throughout the process I've had access to the whole team and Launchpad. The expertise includes, product strategy, UX/UI design, tech evelopment, business analyst
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Firstly the website looks and runs brilliantly. The team have done a great job building the website and I've received a lot of awesome feedback.
The app prototype is on point! I'm still testing and seeking feedback, but the initial assessment is extremely positive.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The project management was excellent. Launchpad use platform where everyone can collaborate, share files and send messages etc. There was clear execution plan developed which the team delivered on.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The youthful energy, but with a mature holistic approach. Launchpad doesn't just accept the concept, they question and challenge it, really getting into the problem so they can help to inform the solution/concept; including the marketing and commercialisation of the product.
Are there any areas for improvement?
None that I can think of at this time.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of MickeyLee’s Pizza, a small-scale pizza shop that we started about 18 months ago. We mostly deal with takeaway and delivery.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We needed help with web development as well as digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, Launchpad App Development built our website from scratch. I came up with some of the written content, but they came up with all of the designs. They then helped us with our POS system and ended up doing digital marketing. They helped find the company for the sales software and get the software started up. They ultimately provided a comprehensive business solution. Their team ran our Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. They took photos of the pizzas and the shop, and then they boosted them on Facebook and Google.
What is the team composition?
I mostly spoke with Dane (Co-Founder & Managing Director) and Jay (Co-Founder & Product Director). There were another couple of guys from my business as well, and I’m sure they spoke to other people from the team.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
My brother told me about them. He had been looking for an app at one point in time and told me Launchpad did development and digital marketing. I gave them a call and then decided to meet up with them. They seemed like a good fit, and they started helping us out with everything else.
How much have you invested in them?
We spent about $45,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
My company worked with them from January 2018–December 2019. We haven’t done much with them lately because my business partner is selling his share to me. After that, I will start doing some advertising and marketing again, and I will definitely be going back to Launchpad for that.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I haven’t dealt with a lot of digital marketing myself. We have grown from about $5,000 per week to around $20,000 a week up until a few months ago, at which point we had to put everything on hold for a bit. It’s hard to pinpoint whether this comes from digital marketing and Launchpad or from our team. We try to ask people how they found out about us, and a lot of people that come through the shop have said that they saw us online, such as through Google Ads and Facebook. We get a lot of new customers through those two avenues, although it is hard to pinpoint exactly how many.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
We have had a good relationship with Launchpad. They are always happy to take calls and work out any problems. They’re constantly looking for new solutions, and I haven’t had any problems with them thus far. I think they are a good company and a good business, and I will definitely keep using them in the future.
I haven’t used any project management tools with them personally, but in terms of deadlines and communication, I haven’t had any problems. We have met with them at their office.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I am relatively young and haven’t dealt with a lot of marketing and outsourcing businesses. The overall experience with Launchpad has been good. It seems like they care. They hit deadlines and answer my phone calls, and we have been getting results.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I know of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear idea of what you want and be open to listening to their ideas. Dane and Jay have a lot of ideas, and everyone there is pretty switched on.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder and CEO of Vossee, a retail search engine.
What challenge were you trying to address with Launchpad App Development?
We were looking to develop and build a web and mobile app for our platform. We are a retail search engine that aggregates different online stores into a hub and allows users to filter those options to curtate your selection.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Launchpad App Development developed both our web and mobile app. They broke down the engagement into two phases. The first phase was the web development phase, which was more of a discovery project figuring out whether or not what we wanted to build was feasible. That took about three months.
The second phase was the mobile app development. Launchpad App Development built an iOS version of the app with the intention to build an Android version if it worked. The app integrates with the web application.
What is the team composition?
We worked directly with Dane (Managing Director, Launchpad App Development) and Danish (Technology Director, Launchpad App Development). Danish was our real day-to-day contact with who we discuss changes. He also manages the development team, who we have less contact with.
How did you come to work with Launchpad App Development?
We found Launchpad App Development by searching through companies online. After looking through maybe five or six different providers, we flew down to Melbourne and met with Launchpad App Development.
We had a meeting with them about the concept and where we would take it from there. They seemed to have a pretty good handle on what they thought of the platform. We also liked that they have a lot of previous experience in development.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested about $100,000 AUD (approximately $68,500 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement with Launchpad App Development began in March 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t gone live yet, but we have received positive feedback from interviews and investor meetings. Everything looks amazing. Launchpad App Development did a really good job, the platform is clean and bug-free.
How did Launchpad App Development perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management has been quite good. Some of the threads are built out in a way that can cause you to lose what you’re working on, but overall it was a good experience.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The design of it came out really clean and we’re super happy with it. They manage changes really well. Discussing adding additional charges can be a bit of an awkward situation, but they’re very clear when that is required.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There could be more initiative to put in place key objectives on their side. When we come to build the app, we understand what our key milestones are, but we pushed to get them to put in place on their side. There was also a slight language barrier that caused us to have to look over some of the copy they produced.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Set up a strong line of communication with the Melbourne team, which handles more of the business side. We focused more on the development side, but keeping in contact with those based in Australia would have been helpful.
The product developed by Launchpad App Development was of very high quality, and it is expected to provide short- and long-term benefits for the community. The team was very supportive, informative, and professional. They were also flexible and accommodating, and their work quality was outstanding.
