Solution
Kyanon Digital helps increase customer convenience and brand recognition by developing a loyalty and engagement application for Starbucks customers to fully access the services. Each mobile app account can actively track their loyalty program, promotions, store locations and manage their card and even customize occasional gift cards.
For every market, Kyanon Digital will work closely with Starbucks to identify, select and integrate with different technology solutions to support the growth strategy of that market.
Impact
In late 2021, the new version will be released which enables Starbucks customers to order food, beverages and signature merchandise with a click.
The Mobile app platform not only allows customers to order their customised favourite drinks but also serve as a loyalty program with digital card. The digital card allows customers to link a credit card, debit card, or mobile wallet to their account and pay directly for purchases and earn more rewards (stars) compare to the other direct payment method.

Takashimaya - A Luxury Department Store
Takashimaya is a luxury department store originally from Japan. As a part of global retail transformation strategy, Takashimaya Singapore adopts the global strategy and was looking out for a technology partner who can consult the enterprise omni-channel retail solutions and also implementation.

OUR BETTER WORLD - Content-as-a-platform BOT team
Given birth by the Singapore International Foundation in 2011, Our Better World (OBW) is a story-telling platform, bringing the internet communities to real life for good causes.
However, the legacy system was fragmented, with the unfriendly user interface, disrupted user experience leading to their inability to prompt actions. OBW community was scattered on Facebook and their website, making it impossible to capture and consolidate data.

What we did

Cocorolife Vietnam is an e-commerce store owned by Sharp Vietnam with the ambition to uplift the online shopping experience and convenience for Vietnamese shoppers. Kyanon Digital was appointed to be Sharp Technology partner to support Sharp’s innovation strategy and achieve online business goals.

Kyanon Digital as a part of the retail transformation mission has not only revamped the eStore website and refresh the app design but also extended customer in-store experience and web experience all to Mobile App. Nevertheless, Kyanon Digital has developed Mobile Order Fulfillment App to streamline the in-store pick & pack process to increase store productivity.

Nippon Paint - A Bilingual Website
Nippon Paint was established in Tokyo by Mr. Moteki Jujiro in 1881 and is now the largest coatings manufacturer in Asia. With a presence in over fifteen countries across two continents, Nippon Paint has been the pioneer in pushing technology beyond its limits. With constant effort in the improvement of paint’s protective functions and the creation of a large array of colours, Nippon Paint strives to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Goals
Nippon Paint wanted to revamp their bilingual website (Vietnamese – English) to make it more professional and attractive.
Key Challenges
- Color coordinator function for each room: pick colors then click the wall to paint (https://nipponpaint.com.vn/en/colour-code/reds )
- Colors and photos of paint from the old websites need to be kept.
- Pay attention to the site speed because there are many designs of new colors, and photos of paint.
Outcome
- Following a CMS feasibility audit, we recommended our team build the website with Drupal. Drupal was selected due to its scalability, compatibility and sophistication with building secure, complex and content-rich websites at an enterprise level. We were able to apply Drupal’s layout builder modules to develop intuitive custom solutions.
- Based on this recommendation, Nippon Paint decided to revamp their bilingue website (Vietnamese – English) to make it more professional and attractive using Drupal.
- One of the highlights was the feature enabling visitors to see a demo of the selected color of paint (client’s product) right away on the example room/wall/house.

The situation
Trinity Christian Centre (TTC) is an assembly of churches in Singapore, organizes many events and gatherings to connect their communities together. It is currently running a 25-year-old IT system full of layers and layers, to support its heavy flow of operations and activity management. TTC needed to build a completely new system that is capable of managing their massive operation scale as well as giving their communities an optimal digital experience in the digital-first era.

Kyanon Digital is developing a new integrated digital infrastructure, thereby allowing them to transform how they work and connect believers smartly in the digital age. The first part is an operational system that will enable TTC’s staff to manage their members, community events and manpower mobilization of up to 1,000 people simultaneously every weekend. We are also building the new official website and mobile apps for their communities, so that people can find all the information and church materials, including keynotes and live streams from gatherings. The new infrastructure is also scalable and configurable, allowing us to continue upgrading easily in the future with the ever-changing digital landscape and user behaviours.

Web, Mobile App BOT team
Traditionally, at French Polynesia, lunch vouchers were handed out to employees as physical tickets. It required employees to carry them around in their pockets, and sometimes the vouchers were lost or wrinkled. Plus, people always needed to order meals that worth equivalent or more of the voucher worth, as ordering less than the given value would not entitle them to receive the cash back.
In an ultra-connected world today, we need to utilize the new emerging technology and digital-first preferences in customers to deliver innovative solutions for our problems. That is why the need of digitizing lunch vouchers were ideated by Tama’a Solutions.
What we did
We designed and built a voucher wallet mobile application for Tama’a Solutions. With this digitized voucher wallet, employees can now access their user information, lunch allowance and lunch menu in one device. With just one tap, employees are off to enjoy their well-deserved meals, hassle-free and no stress over the prices as unused credits will be saved for later. From the restaurant end, their works are now more simplified and they are empowered to deliver better service quality and conveniently manage the book-keeping as part of it has been automated by the app.

WECHEER.IO - Smart bottle opener
The situation
WECHEER.IO is a fast-growing tech startup, by a team aspired to bring the Internet of Things (IoT) to bar and brew culture. Their product - Smart bottle opener - merges ergonomic industrial design with innovative, smart, data building technology, bridging the real and the digital world.
Kyanon Digital has been their dedicated tech partner since its very first day, immersing with their in-house team and forming an agile unit that grows continuously. Beyond just a technical development partner, we also contribute to strategic planning of the product roadmap and help Wecheer.io team accomplish its business goals.
What we did
For products, our user applications can receive data from every interaction done with the IoT devices and automatically perform data analytics to create insights for the business intelligence of breweries and bars. Together as a team, we have revolutionarily transformed the drinking industry, leveraging technological innovations to create fun moments for users and digitally reform how bartenders, bar owners and breweries work. The concept of Pay Per Click (PPC) turns into Pay Per Bottle (PPB) where all real-time data is visualized for strategic and instant decision making. This unique proprietary patented solution is the first to provide: Data Accuracy for insights analytics, Effective Engagement and Scalability.

Center Retail - BIPBIP A Fulfillment App
The Situation
Central Retail Vietnam, a leading multi-format and multi-category group, which owns and manages many hypermarkets and supermarkets such as GO!, Big C and Tops Market, deployed the BIPBIP application, an online grocery shopping platform that is user-friendly to order, easy to pay, and convenient to track shipments. In this case, they need to develop a fulfillment app in a brief period of time.
What We Did
Kyanon Digital is in charge of the development of the fulfillment app (BIPBIP) for Center Retail by using Mendix – a low-code development platform. Thanks to the advantages of Mendix, within 2 months, the low-code team at Kyanon Digital has developed a fulfillment app with over 20.000 product choices from Top Markets, as well as integrated loyalty promotion for members and payment options for seamless customer experience.

I am the co-founder of a communication platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Kyanon Digital?
I hired Kyanon Digital to develop an app for my company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Kyanon Digital designed and developed my cross-platform mobile application. I provided some basic design mockups and a list of other apps that I wanted to model mine on. The app’s primary function was communication — users could connect with each other through stories in private user chat groups.
Now, Kyanon Digital is handing over complete control of the app to my team.

The project management was good — I liked how Kyanon Digital organized the development. Kyanon Digital’s scheduling was great. The project was managed entirely in Asana, which was very efficient because it streamlined communication and app fixes. When changes were made to the app, they handled them in a timely manner. The communication between the project manager and developers during the handoff was excellent.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’d worked with a different agency before hiring Kyanon Digital, but that partnership was a failure. So, I was happy when the collaboration with Kyanon Digital proved to be excellent — communication and cooperation were excellent.

Kyanon Digital provided us with mobile and tablet app development. Some of our requirements include implementing a custom software for the importing and exporting of our products, integrating an automated signature function, and a work and project management feature.
This app is available on iOS and Android, and it enables users to keep track of their tasks and manage them seamlessly. We’re still working with them for maintenance and general support.

For what projects/services did your company hire Kyanon Digital?
We were in need of developing a Mobile App loyalty app which integrates with our core product Loyalty CRM. This app is developed for our client who was using our Loyalty platform for their own business. As a Product company, we focus on our Product thus engaged Kyannon Digital to help us on the app development.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The team proposed to us as a professional company with good company size and number of years in the market. They also proved to us that expertise and willingness to work with us with a great attitude of contribution

The team with their experience brought us onto their Project Management platform together with our Project Manager to go countless rounds of discussion with our client to come up with the design that suites our client's need. It is also fully compatible with our Loyalty CRM platform.

7 people including Project Manager, Front-end Developers, Designers, Quality Control, Deployment Personnels

The project was successfully deployed to client after 6 months of working, 1 month ahead the schedule. The program help increase ROI for our client significantly

It was efficient as the team has good mindset of collaboration thus bringing the total experience of work smooth.

The team is very young and enthusiastic, they are also flexible to deal with changes from our client. They provided consultancy service suitable to advise our client in improving their business traction.

They can invest more on their hiring to increase their resources pool to cater for heavy resources projects.
The app hasn’t launched yet, so there aren’t any user metrics. However, the client is pleased with Kyanon Digital’s work, even though the project took longer than the client anticipated. They efficiently communicated and managed the project in Asana — overall, the partnership was a success.
