Feedback summary:

KubTri combines affordable pricing with quality output. Despite the time difference, their fluid communication and hands-on approach contribute to successful results. However, they can still improve their project management and may require close supervision.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the digital business development manager for an outsourced collection agency. We purchase the portfolio of banks and other credit institutions and make the collection. Our second area of business is in the consumer finance area, where we provide POS loans for customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with KubTri?

We needed to automate our sales process as well as the sales process of our partners. Our goal was to provide an instrument for tracking sales, generating reports, and accessing information about financing applications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

KubTri developed our B2C SuiteCRM system, which allows us to work with both retail and business customers. We also provide services for merchants who work with their individual customers. KubTri has helped us figure out a lot of technical questions, including access management and process automation for both individual customers and merchants. We are always expanding our business and automating things, so KubTri continues to provide development services.

What is the team composition?

We work directly with 5–6 people. Their business development director is always in touch with us.

How did you come to work with KubTri?

I joined the project after they were chosen.

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we’ve spent $40,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018, and the work is ongoing. Currently, we’re fine-tuning a few major releases.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve always been involved in our project, so we don’t know what it would be like without them. Their analysts make an effort to meet our needs.

How did KubTri perform from a project management standpoint?

They can still improve how they manage the development and the whole project. However, I understand the limitations of outsourcing. Despite a five-hour difference, it’s quite easy to reach them. They’re highly responsive, and we’ve had no communication issues with their top management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re quite easy to deal with. Plus, they offer affordable services and responsive management. They’re just a normal company, which is a good thing in my experience.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The KubTri team needs to understand requirements from a business perspective in order to suggest better IT solutions. They consider issues from an IT perspective and often follow the customer’s lead, even if the customer is not knowledgeable about the system. They should also spend more time on business analysis.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You need to be directly involved in the project. You can’t just send all your documents and requirements to them, and then sit back and relax. If you constantly monitor what’s going on, you’ll have a successful collaboration with KubTri.

I’d recommend them but would explain the limitations. They offer a good balance between cost and quality.
