What was the scope of their involvement?
Koitechs has been developing a check-in app and website for us. The app allows users to check-in when they go to a business and receive a page that shows relevant information; if they go to a grocery store, they get a sales flyer.

I’ve been working with one of the co-owners and a couple of front- and backend web and app developers.
How did you come to work with koitechs?
I interacted with one of the co-owners in a different context, so I have familiarity and trust with him. When I came up with the idea for this project, I reached out to him and offered his help.
How much have you invested in them?
We invest around $5,000 a month with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve been responsive to my needs and have also adapted to the changes I want to make to the product on the fly. Overall, they provide good quality to a challenging process with a moving target.
How did koitechs perform from a project management standpoint?
At first, I was doing project management myself because it was smaller. But as it started getting bigger, they assigned a project manager from their side to act as a layer between their development team and me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their pricing is competitive, and the quality of their product is just as good, if not better, than the one that other companies would’ve developed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
The more clarity you have with the idea in your head, the better chance you give koitechs to succeed on your project. Otherwise, it’s hard for anyone to help you.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of a Russian IT company. Our company has 50+ employees. We create web products for business in various fields and we help companies expand their dev team. I manage the company and handle the business expansion.
For what projects/services did your company hire koitechs?
We have a client who needed help with completing an iOS App for desktop WebConferencing software. As we didn't have available specialists at the time, we decided to search for a skilled specialist who can handle the project well.
What were your goals for this project?
At that moment our client was at 80+% completion stage of the iOS App and we needed a developer to finish the development of the App.
How did you select this vendor?
Our team searched for React Native developers among our partners and we found 3 suitable candidates for this project. We contacted each developer and narrowed it down to 2 candidates after conducting a preliminary interview. Then we conducted 2 interviews and the client chose a candidate from the Koitechs company for this project.
Describe the project in detail.
After the interviews, the developer started to work. The developer worked on functional development tasks, code refactoring (he also dealt with lots of legacy code and improved it), and bug fixing tasks. He was responsible for frontend and backend parts.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of a developer, an account manager from the Koitechs side, an account manager from our side, and also there were 2 developers provided by the client.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The developer from Koitechs Vlad K. is a very skilled and responsible specialist. He helped our client finish and launch the iOS App and completed every assigned task in a short time. The app was released on time and the client was pleased with the work done.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We would like to thank the account manager Julia Vasilchenko from Koitechs. She was easy to communicate and provided us with frequent updates so it helped in our work with the client. Also, we are grateful for her help in communication between the developer and the client.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We appreciated that the team in the Koitechs was patient and thoughtful while the client came up to speed and we could manage to meet the deadline. We are pleased with our collaboration with the Koitechs company. So, in case If we need extra developers, we’ll definitely ask Koitechs to help.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We are satisfied with the Koitechs team quality and speed of work. We wish Koitechs the best going forward.
