We have a lot of skills in the company, but we’re lacking development skills. We were looking for someone to develop the platform for Android and iOS.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed a mobile app and web-based platform. They built an interactive and clickable UX platform using Adobe so we could see the design and colors. Then they built mobile platform was built on AWS Cloud, and Flutter. Then the database is MySQL.

It was purely a development project. They gave us some valuable insight into how we could improve the product. They gave us good recommendations on how to develop it in regards to UX.

I had a main contact, and he’s the owner of the company. He had people on his staff who worked on the project, but I never interacted with them directly.

I was in contact with multiple developers and read all of their reviews. I contacted them with my project and they were fast and responsive. They created a good presentation that outlined how the project would proceed and how we could communicate. I felt very comfortable with them, so I selected them out of the five offers I received.

We started working together in February 2020 and our work is ongoing.

We haven’t done code review yet, but from what I’ve seen, everything seems to be fine.

They answer me 24/7. They’re five hours ahead of us, but once I send a message, they reply and get going with it. I’ve been very impressed by how they work.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They feel very responsible for the code they write. They’re also very responsive to feedback. If we ask for changes, they implement them by the next day. This team is much faster than other development companies I’ve worked with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would prefer if they did a bit more testing. We didn’t have enough time for that initially, but that could be useful. It might be more our problem than theirs.

It helped that I was very structured outlined what we needed help with in the early stages. We provided the right information, like a mockup, so you’re on the same page. The more prepared you are, the better.

The app is an online portal where you can get affordable chemical-free Fruits and Vegetables for the best price at your doorstep. We aim at making the lifestyle of our customers much more simpler. At any situation like traffic and parking worries, heavy shopping bags, defaulting in weight, scorching heat and other unfavorable weather conditions, customers could get the best of services in the form of well-washed vegetables, which are cleaned, sorted and packed giving importance to keeping them fresh throughout.

I had interaction with project manager of the company, KODE MAKERS. But I can say that there were 5 employees working on our project. One was designer, another was web app developer and three were working on mobile app.

We just started our business online but as far as existing and new customer reviews, their response is really positive. Fast order, fast delivery and more importantly, easy-to-use apps are the reviews of our valuable customers.

Usually, we used to discuss over the phone calls. But whenever needed we used to discuss over their office.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I can say that KODE MAKERS have well-experienced experts, who work as a team giving the best outcome of the project. They worked really well for a reasonable rate and quality of services. We got much more quality than we thought possible. I would love to work with this company, KODE MAKERS, again for any Mobile/Web Development that we have in the future.

We were satisfied with the superior quality of their work. So, I don't think of any improvement.

While the application was finished this summer, their team is continuing to fix small bugs. I haven’t received any customer feedback yet since the app recently launched. I can say that KODE MAKERS delivered beyond my expectations.

there is no really a measureable topic in the outcome, the project was far beyond numbers... we had to do everything from scratch, since old system was buggy and not meeting users expectations in many ways.

we used trello, and it has proved to be a great tool for the whole team. also whatsapp as a quick communication tool. sometimes email, not that often. nirav's communication skills are excellent, always in charge of everything and available.

their expertise in flutter and laravel. they got my ideas and requirements always in the 1st approach, verty few times we had to go back and forth due to misunderstandings.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

using beta apps so we could test directly from play store instead from apks and testflight. that is the only thing from my perspective.

We had series of discovery meeting to discuss our requirement and timelines. We provided team with majority screen designs and detailed requirements. Based on all the requirements, in a week's time they suggested probable high-level architecture and verified all requirements. A quick prototype of key requirements was also created in a short period of time. Iteration of the prototypes have been provided while providing all phase completion.

Team of 6-7 members have been working on various phase of the project. Designer, front-hand developer, API developer & database engineer all have played their role during different phases of the project. At the same time, in case of any issues all the team members have come together to provide required insights to resolve any issue.

Within 4 months of our contact with Kode maker, our product (with all its complexity) would be going live in next 2-3 weeks.

The project manager was a open-minded and a technically sound guy who was easy to communicate. He provided frequent update and paid attention to details. All deliveries are on-time and in-case of any delay, sufficient prior notice was given.
