I’m the co-founder of a cyber-infrastructure company.
What challenge were you trying to address with KlientBoost?
We needed help with PPC services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
KlientBoost managed our Google Ads. Also, we signed up for their conversion rate optimization services.
What is the team composition?
We had an account manager, a paid ad strategist, and a designer.
How did you come to work with KlientBoost?
I found them through Clutch and another rating site. I used them because it’s a good way to find good vendors.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $30,000 on fees, and they spent an additional $40,000 on Google Ads.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January–May 2022. We’re now in the process of moving away from them; we’ll transition over the next 1–2 weeks.
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
In the beginning, they told us to trust them because they were the experts. The challenge began when we started looking into the work they were doing. For example, we spent $6,000 a month on their fees and $10,000 in ad spend. It turned out that they hadn't set up the tracking in the first 30 days that they were running our landing pages. Therefore, they couldn’t see what was happening with traffic. It took them about two months and a half to find out they weren’t collecting data. The fact that no one caught it earlier and they weren’t managing this correctly was a huge red flag.
The second challenge was trying to contact the right people at the KlientBoost. When we asked them for specific information, they just told us everything was fine. We couldn’t get information, so that was another red flag.
Also, they’d promised us that they’d launch a new landing page every month or so. However, the only landing page they did for us was very generic. A good rule of thumb is putting the keyword you want to advertise on the landing page, but it turned out that ours didn’t have the keywords anywhere in there.
Every time we asked them to see the results, they’d only tell us to trust them because they were the experts. However, when the time came and we got through the data, they didn’t have justified decisions, which wasn’t what we expected.
How did KlientBoost address the challenges that arose?
We tried to talk to the managers because we had high hopes, but they asked us to give them proof. The problem was that they’d grown rapidly, so they widened the people on their teams with inexperienced people. Therefore, the management was having trouble, and when we tried to bring these concerns up, they ignored the mistakes made. They’d said they’d fix them, so we tried going after them for another month, but they didn’t deliver on those promises.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
We had a horrible experience with them. We knew the engagement was a calculated risk. We thought that we’d spend $100,000 for 5–6 months, and it’d be essentially an experiment. Even if the experiment wasn’t successful, we’d still come out of it with a lot of data. However, it turned out they weren’t even collecting the data. This mismanagement was a pretty basic thing, and when we asked for accountability, they didn’t deliver.
How was project management handled?
Project management was pretty poor. The manager was new, so they gave generic answers anytime we asked them for specific data.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
We initially did research and talked to many people during that process. The people at the top of the funnel who answered our questions and the salespeople were brilliant. They were probably the best part of the organization.
However, the quality went down from the moment we got on board. The team didn’t have experience.
In what specific areas can they improve?
They have to work on internal coordination; they don’t talk within their team. Our problem could’ve been easily averted if the last person who headed the campaign had spoken to the person who asked us for the data. They might be doing well on their own, but they don’t talk among themselves.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
Firstly, make sure you get every single thing documented in writing. There were 6–7 things that they verbally told us they’d do, but then they said we needed proof. Also, we allowed flexibility, but you need to watch them like a hawk. We ran into problems because we trusted when they said they were experts, so you need to verify that the team is knowledgeable. KlientBoost was charging us for expert-level services, but the people on our team had less than three-months experience.

I am the Head of Marketing and Senior Copywriter for a startup. We teach career advancement to employees of all levels via live bootcamps and an online, year-round curriculum hosted on our own tech platform.

We've learned that informational email marketing is our strongest tool for conversion. However, we needed more D2C and B2B subscribers in our two career newsletters. We used KlientBoost for lead generation and brand awareness advertising.

After a series of calls to align on business goals, they took over our D2C lead generation advertising and have consistently grown our list ever since. After this success, we added in shorter ad campaigns for our time-sensitive bootcamps.
KlientBoost handled our creative asset refresh and was prompt on deadlines. Most recently, we have started running a split lead gen campaign to find both D2C and B2B leads.
What was the team composition?
I spend the most one-on-one time with our fantastic account manager, who fields questions, feedback, and updates from the larger team. I also receive updates from all members of the team in a weekly communication.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our D2C newsletter subscriber list has increased nearly 50% over 5 months of working with KlientBoost to establish and refine an effective lead generation campaign. Of those new D2C subscribers, about 4% went on to convert to paid bootcamp attendees (with a test run of new, bootcamp-only ads).
As we continue to refine the D2C strategy, we are also in the process of building other, brand new lead generation campaigns to increase our B2B business.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It has been very efficient. I have bi-weekly meetings with our account manager and receive a weekly update from all team members. We are able to keep this meeting cadence because everyone on the team is extremely responsive to email.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They are all enthusiastic about the company's brand and love digging into the research around what we do! I am consistently impressed by the extra work they do to connect trends and audience groups to our mission.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
They are great at keeping communication minimal but informative and clear -- which means it's easy to go a few months at a time without talking to everyone on the team. This likely works very well for a lot of clients who are extremely busy. However, I realized it's great for my team to speak with other KlientBoost team members from time to time to hear more about their insights. We have a call with my Data Director later this week!

We hired Klientboost to help develop and implement the SEO strategy for our website as well as discover high value keywords related to our company using PPC marketing.

We viewed several vendors in the selection process and went with Klientboost due to the services offered were at a more competitive value, the logic behind how they implement SEO and SEM strategies was sound, and their reviews indicated a great reputation.

For the SEO portion of the project, Klientboost outlined a 6 month process that included the following
- Initial onboarding
- Website analysis
- Technical website audit and recommendations

- On going monthly deliverables (4 content pieces per month)

- One SEO content expert who coordinates the content briefs and creation of the monthly content deliverables.

Since implementing the SEO and SEM strategies. We have started to see an increase in inbound organic traffic, a rise on certain terms on SERPs and and increase in inbound leads from PPC campaigns.

We have regular meetings (initially weekly, now bi-weekly), QBRs once a quarter, and easy and frequent communication using Slack to communicate and Asana to manage aspects of the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We needed to simultaneously scale our digital advertising budget and expand our channels for social search and display.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, KlientBoost asked for access to all of our primary platforms and analytics. These platforms included Google Analytics, Facebook, Microsoft, and Google Ads. They also asked us for Google Tag Manager. At that point, they did an audit of our progress.
The team then set up an introduction call to talk through their findings and verify them. From there, we did a follow-up call to go into the specifics of the strategy; we talked about the timeline of implementation and the areas of business we’d be focusing on first.
After that, we moved into executing the campaigns. The KlientBoost team took one of our main business units and simultaneously deployed campaigns across social display and paid channels.
What is the team composition?
We directly worked with three primary contacts. They used additional resources internally; there was also a fourth resource assigned to us.
How did you come to work with KlientBoost?
We chose to work with KlientBoost because they were extremely approachable and transparent about how they assess and run campaigns. The team was performance-oriented in everything they did; all of their work was relevant to producing leads. Moreover, their resources were conscientious and truly interested in the intricacies of our business.
On top of that, their pricing model was extremely affordable for how many dedicated resources they’d provide for us. We also had a change in leadership in the middle of our vendor selection process. As a result, we had to put the brakes, and they had to reposition themselves based on the new leadership — they did amazingly well. Ultimately, they won us over because of their strategic approach and their personality as a team.

As of December 2021, they’ve managed up to $150,000 in digital ad spend for my former company. They’ve also charged a 10% management fee
What is the status of this engagement?
The start date of the contract was in October 2021, and their engagement with my former company is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With KlientBoost’s help, we reduced our campaign production time by 30%. We also saw an increase in landing page conversion rates, while our cost per acquisition decreased by 40%. These results were instant and happened right out of the gate; we didn’t have to wait for them to ramp up their efforts just to see improvements.
How did KlientBoost perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management was phenomenal. The KlientBoost team had to deal with two separate changes in stakeholders, which also changed their responsibilities and primary point of contact. Despite those things, they performed incredibly well.
In terms of communication, we had five weekly status calls. We also had a Slack channel, their resources were highly responsive. Our teams also had some communication over email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
KlientBoost was highly creative in their strategies. They didn’t use any cookie-cutter solutions. Instead, they took their time to figure out exactly what our business was and came up with creative ideas on how to solve our challenges.
Apart from that, their pricing model transparency was also impressive. There wasn’t any complex negotiation, which was fantastic.
Moreover, the sales representative that we initially worked with wasn’t just a salesperson; he also understood digital advertising strategies. He even workshopped with us to help us know if we could work well together. Overall, he was knowledgeable and awesome.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wasn’t initially impressed with KlientBoost’s branding; they didn’t look as skilled and knowledgeable as they truly were because they looked a bit unprofessional. Their branding was bubbly, and our new CMO at that time had a strong negative response to it.
That said, this was the only time we weren’t impressed with them, and they’d since adjusted their presentations to address our sentiments.

Let KlientBoost run with the project. Give them the keys, and let them go. Don’t get in their way.

Our technology is used to support care managers in helping manage the health and care of the members and patients they serve. We were struggling with lead conversion, so we hired KlientBoost to help us convert people visiting our site pages and content.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the engagement with a meeting with the KlientBoost team and walked them through our goals. They gave us a survey where they learned about what we were trying to accomplish. Then, they put together a team for us; they searched for the right people to engage with us since we had unique challenges.
Meanwhile, we did the same on our side; we pulled the right team together on our end, to set us up for success.
From there, they used our style guide and survey answers to build landing pages. As they built those, our resources started working on our ad copy. KlientBoost then gave us data around the keywords they believed would work best for us based on what we shared with them.

KlientBoost’s project management is 100% awesome. They’re energetic and fun to talk to; they always do what they say they’re going to do. Moreover, their resources are highly organized; they have everything on Asana and a Google Document.
On top of that, our meetings are efficient. We usually get everything done in half of the allotted time, though we can also stay and talk to them — their team is simply great. To communicate, we use emails and meetings. We usually have scheduled meetings, but our teams can also hop on an impromptu meeting if necessary.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve worked with many other agencies, but KlientBoost feels different. We feel like they’re just in the next office, serving as an extension of our team. This project isn’t my favorite part of the job, but they make it fun.
Moreover, since they’re a small agency, we don’t need an SoW for every little tweak we want to make. The engagement is highly fluid and flexible, which is what we have to be in this business. We don’t have this kind of relationship with other vendors.

We’ve had some challenges regarding deadlines because they’re working on a lot of things. I hope that once things settle down, that will improve again. However, in general, they show up for meetings on time.

I'm a senior marketing coordinator managing lead generation efforts at the corporate sponsorship division of a public media company. We sell advertising spots across audio, digital, and event platforms to brands to support the non-profit side of the business.
For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost, and what were your goals?
Before hiring Klientboost, our company had not tried a consistent, large-scale campaign in paid search. We were working with another agency, but had not seen the results we were hoping for, and so we were looking for a new partner. Our goals was to efficiently drive new leads to our Sales team.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We researched various PPC agencies online and shared an RFP with agencies we were initially interested in. Klientboost shared back a proposal, and we were pleased with the enthusiasm, relevant case studies, and transparency in methodology that they shared.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.
The scope of work focused on Google Ads. Klientboost looked at the prior performance of our Google Ads account, set up new campaigns in accordance with their SKAG strategies, and built new landing pages to kick off CRO efforts. In the first three months, they were able to significantly decrease the cost per qualified lead and helped bring in new revenue that leadership was thrilled to see.
With these early successes, we were able to add more budget to our original scope, and Klientboost helped us expand to experimenting with video ads on Youtube as well. With the expertise, by the end of our first year with them, we've added another extension to assist in our email marketing efforts.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Initially we had a team of 2; one CRO designer and 1 account manager. At one point, we had a staffing change and Klientboost replaced the original AE with a new AE + 1 campaign manager. For the email project, we received consultation from their head of email.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Klientboost's work has helped lift ROAS of paid search by 300%, decrease CPQL by nearly 30%, and continues to bring in leads that generate new revenue for the company.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The Klientboost team has always communicated well! We've been happy with their timely replies, letting us know about OOO in advance, and their adaptability to strategic or budgetary changes that come from our team. They use Slack and Asana, and provide excellent transparency into their work.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
From the beginning, working with Klientboost has felt like working with great people -- though our budget is small, they have always been attentive to us, and we've never felt lost among their accounts. Their collection of case studies across a wide array of industries is impressive. They prove that their strategies work.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The departure of our original account manager was a bit sudden -- we're not exactly sure what happened, but it seems that the handoff between prior and current account managers could have been smoother, in terms of Klientboost helping to make sure the new account manager could get up to speed. We also have a small budget, and so the ratio of agency fee to ad spend is almost 1:1, which is not ideal. Klientboost did try to accommodate us and lower our monthly fee a little bit.

I am the co-founder of a direct-to-consumer brand on Shopify.
For what projects/services did your company hire KlientBoost, and what were your goals?
After the iOS 14.5 update, which reduced our ad return on Facebook drastically, we were looking for a company that could take over our Facebook account, secure the ROAS and scale it, as well as expand our efforts on Google.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We checked various review platforms and interviewed other companies as well. The resources that Klientboost has on their website were a great sign of knowledge.

They took over the accounts, made sure that tracking and reporting were accurate, then took over existing ads and slowly modified them and added new ones. 30 days after the ad launch they set the current ROAS as baseline with the goal to improve upon it 10% every three months. They create the creatives, ad-copy and also do some conversion-optimization via AB-tests with Google Optimize.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We have an account manager, a campaign manager and a CRO strategist.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We surely have difficulties for PPC agencies given the recent changes that impacted particularly Facebook Marekting. But when we hired them the iOS update and its impacts had already happened and were visible. Klientboost was well aware of the challenges and did not make any promises (naturally), but still communicated possibilities and expectations that were not even remotely met.
Our accounts performance has declined since they took over. Unfortunately they have not managed to keep our Facebook ROAS at a steady and good level (while the goal was to increase it). When trying to scale our account our ROAS plummeted to unacceptable levels and we had to pull the breaks.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Communication is via Email and Asana. Asana is great as it allows us insights on progress and upcoming projects, milestones and the general timeline. Datastudio is used as a dashboard to compile the results like ad-spend, ROAS etc from the various platforms. Everything is very organized. We have bi-weekly meetings to discuss progress and issues.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their level of transparency towards the client and style of communication are excellent. Everything is super-transparent in Asana. Goals are set and agreed-upon logically and Klientboost hold themselves accountable. They really seem to have a lot of experience in the company, which they use to set things up properly.
Everyone we have met and worked with at Klientboost is really friendly and nice to work with. They also understand the value of a brand and make sure to keep ad-copy and creatives in line with our premium-segment marketing touch. No sell-out for short-term results.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Onboarding-phase took longer than promised. It then took quite some time to fix attribution / tracking issues with our shopify store before any ads were launched. Expectations management could be better - particularly in the initial sales pitches. It's not enough to make the klient sign an agreement that says "no results are promised".
The client had a terrible experience with KlientBoost. The team failed to track the results and ignored the client when they asked for specific information; they relied on their status as experts instead of offering explanations. Also, they lacked communication and had inexperienced team members.
