Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP of client services at Virtus Capital Management, a private equity firm. If a startup needs to raise money, we do our due diligence and decide to either raise money for them or not.

What challenge were you trying to address with Katch Media Group?

Most of our business is done by credit investors. We were trying to reach out to anybody that makes over $200,000 in income or has $1 million in net financial assets.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Katch Media Group built our website from scratch. Currently, they help us with our marketing materials, like brochures. They put together the materials that we send to our investors.

What is the team composition?

I work directly with two people, but Katch Media Group’s team is a lot bigger than that. They have different departments, including design and creative teams.

Yan (CEO) is my main point of contact. I don’t like to repeat myself to four different people. I just tell him what I want, he goes to his team and explains it to everyone, and comes back with ideas of what I need — it’s a lot of back-and-forth.

How did you come to work with Katch Media Group?

I hired Katch Media Group because their team is young, motivated, extremely competent, and very bright. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2020, and the partnership is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our industry is highly regulated by the Ontario Securities Commission. Therefore, anytime we need to send anything to our clients, our compliance officer needs to approve it first. We’ve never had any problems getting Katch Media Group’s work approved by our compliance officer.  Also, the website they developed didn’t have any bugs or crashes.

In addition to that, Katch Media Group comes up with really good ideas that we wouldn’t have thought of, which has been really beneficial to our business. Another thing I like about them is that they educate themselves whenever they’re assigned a project. They don’t just accept the project blindly; rather, they do their homework. They take it seriously and make sure they know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and they come back to us with fantastic ideas. That’s what makes them so confident and good at what they do.

How did Katch Media Group perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication with Katch Media Group is excellent. They always reply within a couple of hours, depending on how busy they are. I’ve never had any issues getting a hold of anyone or getting an answer. If I need something modified or edited, they do it immediately and send it back to me.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Katch Media Group has strengths in many departments because of the good team of people working for them. They’re extremely creative and know what they’re doing when it comes to building websites and doing brochures. 

They’re very talented, which makes it easier for them. You can tell in their work that they love what they do. It’s not just a job for them — it’s their passion, and that’s what differentiates them from everyone else. I’ve received nothing but great results from Katch Media Group. I’m not very tech-savvy, so I leave everything to them. Anytime I ask them to do something, they do it. I recommend them to everyone because they’re exceptional at what they do.

Any advice for potential customers?

Anybody who’s looking for a marketing company should hire Katch Media Group. They’re my number one choice. I recommend them to everybody because I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. I’m a very picky person when it comes to work, and I have worked with many companies over the years. This is by far one of my best experiences.

We were able to 5x our ad spend consistently and also our targeting and retargeting have show significant results.

They care about my success. Most suppliers do a good job but not go above and beyond and be accountable for the results.
