We wanted professional expertise to help build a social media presence and brand. After working with Joseph Studios for a couple of months, we began to grow the scope of the services we purchase from them and added public relations, content, and SEO.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We did extensive research online, looking for customer reviews, rankings (Neil Patel, etc.) and other indicators of quality digital marketing services. After narrowing the list of potential digital marketing firms to 10, we did a more in-depth analysis of their websites and conducted video interviews. Through this process, Joseph Studios stood out as the leading candidate.

After a kick-off meeting, we went through a process of sharing a great deal of information about our company, our goals, our target audience and customers, and the messaging and tone we wanted to use in our social media marketing. We continued to hone our messaging through the process of Joseph Studios sharing a proposed calendar of social media posts and our management team providing feedback and adjustments to the messaging.
It wasn't long until there was little time required to review the calendar of proposed social media posts provided by Joseph Studios, as the messaging was on point. We have used similar processes for content creation and PR communications (press releases, articles, etc.).
More recently we have added a full subscription for SEO services and have been very pleased and impressed with Joseph Studios' SEO knowledge and ability to communicate action items to implement these practices.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of a nonprofit organization that designs and creates products and merchandise to bring awareness to endangered species, wildlife, and habitats. All of our profits go towards donating to wildlife conservation groups, and we do other activities to preserve the welfare of endangered species. We started operations a little over six months ago, and we’re a family- and women-owned company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Joseph Studios?
We reached to them for help with our marketing efforts. I have another full-time job, so maintaining social media accounts was a bit of a challenge. We needed someone to manage our social media and get our brand out there and were looking for a sustainable, long-term partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We’ve primarily engaged with Josep Studios for social media. They post about 25 posts per month across our Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. They’ve helped us doing our blog and with content marketing. They’ve also helped us with our SEO and to optimize our website and create backlinks.
Joseph Studios executes our content strategy and works with us to create our persona in our social media accounts. We have a cheerful and colorful aesthetic to our brand, and they follow it for our strategy as well. Moreover, they’ve provided suggestions on how to work with collaborators and people with an active following.

Initially, our main point of contact was Jocelyn (Client Sucess Manager). Now, they’ve switched over to a system where we interact with everybody who works on our account. We have about six people on our team.
Jocelyn is still our account manager. Then, we have Sally (Senior Manager of Social Media) and Veronika (Director of SEO & SEM). They work on our social media posts, and Veronika supervises Sally. We also have someone working on our blogs. On the other hand, Daniel (Founder & CEO) provides a lot of input for us, and there’s a PR person, but we don’t interact a lot with them.
How did you come to work with Joseph Studios?
I just searched on Google. They stood out to me due to their good pricing and the deliverables they can provide. It also really attracted me that they focused on organic marketing instead of paid ads like many others.
Additionally, they were super flexible from the beginning. We worked with them to sot everything to work with our budget, and they did everything they could to lower their price for us or find ways to keep going.

We started working together in May 2021k, and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve been working with Joseph Studios for five months, and we’ve increased our number of followers, customers, and subscribers to our website, as well as overall impressions and engagement rate. They provide monthly marketing reports to see where we are and where we can improve.
Also, they’ve made a few suggestions, and the most beneficial one has been to reach out to influencers. Nobody knew what we did, so our main issue was driving traffic to the website and getting people to buy our products. They’ve worked with us to get our brand out there.
How did Joseph Studios perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very organized. In the beginning, we could email any questions or suggestions to Jocelyn, and she’d relay them back to the team. Now, we can directly communicate with any of the team members. Each person has their own expertise, so we work with each one to sort out a better strategy.
We initially used email, but last week they started using Basecamp. We have constant communication, and they’re really easy to work with. The team always listens to what we say and incorporates everything we want.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re extremely nice and flexible. Joseph Studios works with us on whatever challenges we have and gets them fixed. They try to incorporate anything we ask them to the best of their ability. We recently had some budget challenges, so we had to modify our subscription with them. They’ve found a way to keep us going because they know how important the momentum is for our business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Initially, they were still hiring people, so they didn’t have many employees. Communicating with one person was a bit of a challenge, but they took that into account, and it’s going a lot smoother.

Just be open with them from the beginning. They will reciprocate that 100%.

The social media campaign showed measurable signs of engagement and success overall. My followers increased and engagement with the posts increased across the board.

Once we began we had a meeting on a Zoom video call every other week. We would talk about not just the goals, but anything else that we were working on. They answered all my questions (I had a lot!) and explained everything very well. I was very pleased by the time they gave me. They would give me a weekly email with the posts for the future week or two weeks to come for me to approve. I only had minor changes sometimes and they did these very fast.

I met with the owner, my manager at Joseph Studios, and my Social Media person on the Zoom call. I was very happy that their are multiple people there to help me.

My followers on Instagram are increasing very fast and my engagement rate is 25% which is very good. I also was given great advice for working with brands and might already have a deal. Just waiting to hear back from the company. My audience is definitely increased and even with my own posts I do on Social Media I am seeing much more interaction from a much larger group of people.

I emailed them whenever I had a question or anything and they responded very quickly every single time. The video meetings every other week worked great. I had notes prepared before it started.

I was honestly very impressed and have continued to be impressed by how genuinely nice and helpful they all are. They are very good at what they do. And I really appreciated them going above and beyond what I expected. They didn't just do quick posts to get money or anything like that. They helped me with anything I needed and the posts on social media are very good quality and well thought out.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only thing I would say if I were to need to come up with something is that for a smaller business like mine the price was a bit high. It's definitely worth it, but it would be nice to have a bit lower prices if possible. But honestly, it is hard to find anything to improve on. They are awesome!

Joseph Marketing had a comprehensive team execute our project. Every week we had all-hands calls with the founder, project manager, and various sector specialists. I was very impressed by the depth of the team and their availability!

While we are still early in our social campaigns, the quality of their work is apparent in the marketing we have achieved so far. I am very impressed by it!

I’m the financial director and general manager at a company that sells water treatment systems to homeowners. Our products remove harmful substances like chlorine, bleach, and iron from water. I take care of all the financing for each customer and oversee production at the company.

We didn’t have much of an online presence on the web or social media. They were hired to guide our digital presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They redid our existing website, incorporating new design layouts and images to pair with our product descriptions. There were serious problems with the old website, and they diagnosed them before jumping in with their work. While the content is essentially the same, they did a considerable amount of restructuring.
Additionally, they established a presence for our brand on all major social media platforms. We now have Glassdoor, Instagram, Facebook, and Google My Business accounts where they post content. Since then, they’ve been focusing on making our site more searchable and managing our reviews.

I’m the executive VP of sales and marketing at an IT security company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Joseph Studios?
As with anyone working in tech, it’s important to us to create a fluid end-to-end sales and marketing process to generate leads. We needed to have a way to identify new prospects, manage them through various sales activities, and see them through to a successful conclusion. That’s what drove us to work with Josia Studios.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Josia Studios handles all aspects of marketing for us, from devising marketing campaigns around various products and use cases to creating and delivering content via social media LinkedIn and Twitter. Similarly, they help with messaging and content for our PR vehicles (e.g., press releases, white papers) and make sure that we distribute them via the right channels.
They also help us run webinars within our organization. Their team identifies the ideal target audience for each session. Afterward, they use tools like ZoomInfo to create a prospect list, which we then target via different outbound marketing campaigns. The hope is to drive more sign-ups.

They started working with us around November 2019 and continue to stay very engaged on a daily basis. We have enough work and activity underway that we’ll never reach a point where we won’t have a project for them.

We’re extremely pleased with the results, so far. We can actually see the improvement from a quantitative standpoint across all of our different website metrics, which shows that we’re going in the right direction.
Daniel has some unique tactics for identifying the right personas to target that set him apart from other marketing companies. It’s almost like he’s finding a needle in a haystack.

Our head of marketing manages the relationship with Joseph Studios on a daily basis, though I do attend the weekly status call when I’m available. That’s when we go over what we’ve completed and plan future activities. Each activity has a sub plan, which all rolls up into a larger plan for the relationship. We continuously update that with each call.

They’re experts in digital marketing, and the team is adept at identifying the right individuals and audiences to target.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only challenge that we face is that a lot of our best marketing centers on customer wins or new strategic partnerships. Sometimes, we’re a little short on newsworthy material for them to market, but that’s more a function of how we’re performing on our end and is not their fault.

Their firm’s ability to be successful depends on how well-organized you are. For Joseph Studios’ to achieve the maximum results, you have to be prepared to have a good go-to-market strategy ready.
