Introduce your business and what you do there.

We're a public relations firm that specializes in storytelling. Our clients range from franchises to big brands to local e-commerce sites. I'm the VP of digital strategy. I lead all of our digital marketing efforts that include Google AdWords, paid social media, and any platform integrations.


What challenge were you trying to address with Jonathan Alonso?

We were working with local technology service providers on helping them increase the number of in-store customers. We needed help with developing a regional plan to accomplish that goal.


What was the scope of their involvement?

He created a two-fold strategy for us. The first objective was to increase organic traffic, trying to find local authority references for the stores. The second goal was to create a local directory and search plan that we could implement. Google AdWords and Google Analytics were some of the key components of the plan.

How did you come to work with them?

We were connected by a mutual contact. Jonathan had an excellent reputation and the expertise that our team didn't have, so we decided he'd be a great fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with him in 2017 and the project is ongoing.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There has been a higher demand for the products that were featured as part of the plan. We've also seen a consistent rise in our online inquiries and in-store traffic.

How did they perform from a project management standpoint?

He's great at managing his time and his internal team. We usually use Google Hangouts to communicate.

His execution is at a very high level and he's able to run multiple strategic imperatives at the same time.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If I had to choose something, I'd probably say his ongoarding documentation. But we really didn't have any issues.
