Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of Enestech Software Corporation. We are developing solutions for the management of large computer networks, such as gaming centers and gaming clubs.
For what projects/services did your company hire j:Mind.Systems?
We hired j:Mind.Systems to provide development services on our main product: the Senet system—an end-to-end SaaS solution to manage computer networks. To complete the solution, we needed to create a custom layer over the computer operating system (OS) that would create a “shell” where the user would interact with games, browsers, and more.
What were your goals for this project?
There were two main objectives: to finish our Senet product and to find a solution to upsell our services through a custom OS layer. Simply put, we needed to finalize the development of our product without overkilling our budget with internal team expansion.
How did you select this vendor?
We needed expertise in development, but we didn’t want to expand our internal development team. That’s how we ended up looking for product developers. Then, one of our partners recommended taking a look at j:Mind.Systems. Shortly after the first meeting, we received an offer that we approved with minor changes.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Senet is a SaaS solution, and the Shell is a user dashboard of Senet. It’s the part of our solution where the user spends their time. We asked j:MindSystems to render a simple yet functional interface. Moreover, the Shell was developed in a way that lets us upsell our products and increase our revenue by leveraging the interactive experience—gamification and loyalty features.
What was the team composition?
Our internal team was headed by our product manager, and all development resources were provided by j:Mind.Systems: two Backend developers on .NET Framework, a UI Developer, a QA Engineer, a project manager, and a design unit.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
All in all, we got a custom software that we could adapt to our needs and that some users really liked. The overall experience was flawless. The project was done on time and on budget, and the team actually helped our internal developers with a few implementation issues. We are still using this team for technical support and feature improvement on our product.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The workflow was fine; we have nothing bad to say about it. However, there might have been a slight time lag because we had so many stakeholders who needed to approve certain elements of the interface. But, we were very pleased with the tech improvements from development team. Also, it was easy to have constructive discussions between our offices.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The project is very successful in itself. The terms, the timing, the cost—all have been above and beyond. But it’s the upselling techniques that they’ve implemented and their tools that get us going. j:Mind.Systems tested the UX, and, as a result, they shortened the user flow and added gamified mechanics to the Shell. This is a very professional approach that we appreciate most in j:Mind.Systems. We would like to see this quality in all of our partners.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We would like to see more project managers/team leads that can cope with multiple stakeholders and actually manage the decision-making flow. But, overall, there’s not much to improve. It’s likely that our product isn’t large enough for a new team structure.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a chief product officer at WePlay! Esports. We are a cross-media platform in the field of esports. We do everything from tournaments and championships to the industry news aggregation and live competition streaming.
For what projects/services did your company hire j:Mind.Systems?
We needed custom software that would allow titles to display over our live streams.
What were your goals for this project?
At WePlay! we do a lot of broadcasting and live streaming for eSports tournaments. So, we needed special software designed to display additional information “on air.” We wanted a quality titling solution for platform.
How did you select this vendor?
When we searched the market for these types of products, the majority of solutions were outdated or didn’t fit the supported content requirements. So, we considered creating our own custom solution, but we didn’t want to handle the development by ourselves.
We heard about j:Mind.Systems because its a partner inside of our maternal holding company. We booked a meeting with the team. After it was finished we thought, “these guys get what we need.”
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We ideated the solution and stated the requirements, and the team built the product. j:Mind.Systems was largely responsible for the market research and user interface, both of which are very specifically arranged.
During the process, j:Mind.Systems interviewed our video production office for anything they needed. Our entertainment and technical services has a backlog of stored content for streams so it can be used immediately, as there is no time to wait when on a live broadcast.
What was the team composition?
There was one C++ and one HTML5 developer, a team of UI/UX designers, and a unit for market research.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The Esports Title Solution is the perfect tool for us. We use it almost every day to make eSports tournaments more TV-like, more advanced, and more interactive.
The biggest success was the idea to develop HTML5-based flash-free titles. This has allowed us to create custom titles without any hassle. We can use our HTML developers without any need to expand the team.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We were impressed with their overall workflow. However, the distribution of information wasn’t even. Sometimes, different team members asked us the same question, so a bit of miscommunication occurred. But it never obstructed the development process, so it wasn’t anything to worry about.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
j:Mind.Systems produces outstanding quality work. They’re great at time management—the development finished in one month.
Sometimes, their team requested more time to research or test particular features. While that took some time, they quickly caught up with the development process. I guess planning pays off!
Are there any areas for improvement?
j:Mind Systems did a great job, finished our project, and then followed up with an inquiry for this review. What else could you need from a product partner?
j.Mind.Systems consistently went the extra mile to find opportunities for improvement. The team tested the UX, shortened the user flow, and added gamified elements to the UI. While they could’ve better managed expectations from multiple stakeholders, their technical insight proved to be invaluable.
