Our story
Jimmy was founded after many years of working on the agencies' sides, managing startups, and building products in the largest of enterprises.
Throughout our careers, we have identified a frequent delusion. Agencies often focus too much on keeping relations with clients by delivering any product to get paid and never object to false ideas. That's far from a productive collaboration. We strive to make clients happy by delivering an excellent product that will make them successful and bring happiness rather than nodding our heads when we know the proposed solution is wrong.
With this vision in mind, we put our resources together and started our journey in making IT outsourcing a preferred pick for everyone.

Carvago - Dealership management system (TEAS)
Today's automotive industry is much different than it used to be 30 years ago but people working in this area every day struggle with management systems of the old times. We help our client to build a large innovative solution for dealerships, repair shops, and used cars dealers.
The complex ecosystem offers companies solutions for analyzing the market, purchasing vehicles, CRM, stock management, selling, audit, accounting, and servicing. It integrates hundreds of services and 30+ car manufacturers incl. Mercedes, Lexus, VW, and others.
We rewrote the 30-year-old solution used by most of the Czech and Slovakian automotive markets from scratch. The redefinition comes with completely new seamless flows, stable technologies, high performance, security, and readiness to scale all over the globe. The new solution requires a complex analysis of existing data, systems, features, and users behavior. The migration of data had to be smooth so the transition for the users has no impact on their million businesses.
To help the client deliver a product with the highest possible value for the customers we have been working in the SCRUM framework in a group of 8 scrum members. The team has already invested over 40 sprints in 2 weeks iterations. Jimmy also helps to cover the Product Owner role who ensures the bridge between business, product, and development.
We follow the domain-driven design on top of the architecture which is inspired by the hexagonal one. If there has been an opportunity, certain parts of the system became microservices. The whole infrastructure is described in Terraform and running in Kubernetes clusters.

Jimmy helps our client, the winner Deloitte Fast 50 CEE 2021 with breaking record growth to innovate their business.
FTMO is a star and innovative company in forex trading. It allows traders to trade forex assets from FTMO’s fund. To ensure the top place in this highly competitive market, it must provide its traders with a higher value than the competition. We built for them the chatting tool for their traders connected to forex charts.
The application allows verified traders to follow charts of selected forex instruments and chat with other traders about trading, share analysis, ask for advice or just have a casual talk. The traders can chat in 1:1 chats or in the rooms of single forex instruments. Behind the application is an administration that allows FTMO to create rooms, block users, manage vulgarities or spam.
Jimmy worked in the Kanban framework to deliver the highest quality and valuable product. The delivery to 5 weeks and cover UX/UI design, FE development, BE development, and testing. The delivery was successful and our cooperation with FTMO continues to build other great products together.
Risk Command Platform
We help our client from Fortune 50 to build a frontend part of the application with a general focus on forensics, compliance, and cyber-privacy. It helps companies identify, monitor potential threats, and react to them.
Jimmy cooperates with PwC in the development and team leasing. The cooperation is long-term and requires cooperation with different PwC in Europe, Asia and US.
The Risk Command application has a general focus on forensics, compliance, and cyber-privacy. It helps PwC and its customers to identify, monitor potential threats, and quickly react to them.
Jimmy helps to develop the frontend part. The senior engineers cooperate in the Scrum framework in the team with other engineers. The team works fully remotely and cooperates with another team in Asia and together they orchestrate the development to ensure a high-value outcome.

3D visualisation of heat exchangers website
Jimmy helped Kelvion, an international heat exchanger manufacturer for the majority of industrial applications to develop to offer their customers an innovative shopping experience.
The website offers visitors advanced 3D models of the selected product to expand the product into small parts and explore every detail of the exchanger. It is built using the headless CMS system that allows unique content and design control.
Jimmy's team started to work on the website from scratch. We decided to follow the Kanban way of management during the development phase to keep the process as efficient and transparent as possible. It allowed our team to focus purely on the product and the quality of the delivery.
We used Next.js technology for implementation to ensure the adequate performance of the application that doesn’t affect visitors’ experience. For 3D models, we used Three.js.We also used Storyblok as headless CMS to decompose products data and present them on the website in a form meaningful even for outsiders.
It also gives us an outstanding performance on mobile devices and allows the application of various post-processing on 3D models.
Fintech mobile applications for the Asian market
Jimmy works for an international client in the Fintech area to change the way how people buy products in Southeast Asia. The e-commerce solution has the ambition to change the behavior of shopping in this area.
E-shop marketplace focused on improving the customer’s comfort and increasing access to the products on the market in developing countries. The solution comes with extensive purchase services (loans, leasing, etc.), real-time tracking of purchased products around me, gamification, special deals, or gift cards.
Jimmy’s team works on mobile and backend applications in the SCRUM framework and cooperates with other internal and external teams. We cooperate with the client in the way of team leasing.
The technology used on mobile is cross-platform Flutter to ensure high-efficiency but still keep the native user experience. The back-end orchestrates core sales process and gamification for both consumers and partners mobile applications (2 separate applications).

Hospitality & Leisure Website
Design and development for family-owned baroque estate and one of the top wedding venues in the Czech Republic.
The website combines several offerings of the venue including weddings, accommodation, restaurant, catering services and private events. The users are able to book the accommodation and venue online via the website or make reservations at a restaurant.
The challenging goal was to replace 3 existing websites with completely different UI and several services into 1 website representing the Baroque estate nicely and clearly. Jimmy created a brand new corporate identity, UX/UI, prototyping, and web development including CMS. We built for our client a modern, nice, and representative website that is easily editable.
The processes started with workshops to gather all requirements and information with responsible stakeholders from the client’s side. We sketched the sitemap, wireframes and presented them to the client. This process was in iterations and after each iteration, we implemented the feedback. The frontend and CMS were developed in Webflow to ensure quick, high-performance, easy maintain and low-cost result.
Web Design & Dev for Medical Clinic
Jimmy helped LC Andel, the premium medical center with the web design and development of a new website.
Jimmy’s task was to redesign the old website to improve the user experience of the medical center customers who are used to the premium goods and services. The website should give the same feeling as when a customer enters the LC Andel center.
We covered the whole product development lifecycle. We started with the research process of current data, customer’s needs, and users’ behavior and continued with UX/UI till the release of the product. The frontend and CMS were developed in Webflow to ensure quick, high-performance, easy maintain and low-cost result.
LC Andel saw the results almost immediately after the release when the organic visits on the website increased by about thousands per month.

Jimmy's frontend team participates in the development of one new and three existing web applications for a large client in the cybersecurity field. We provide coding and frontend development of a completely new website, new features, bug fixing, and maintenance.

For what projects/services did your company hire Jimmy Technologies, and what were your goals?
Jimmy developed the PHP library for the largest identity verification service in the Czech Republic used by large banks and institutions. The goal was to develop OICD library with advanced, scalable architecture and connect it with the BankID solution. The whole delivery was totally bugless.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Jimmy was referred to us and they were able to develop the solution with the senior team. They have proven knowledge in building large PHP projects. Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
In terms of the whole project, PHP stack was required. Jimmy made the analysis, defined the architecture and developed the project incl. testing. They used Kanban for the development. The communication and management were steered by the Project manager but we were in touch with their whole team. We also had access to their JIRA and code repo, so we could see the whole progress of the project.

Jimmy developed a completely new website including UX/UI for our business. They organized a workshop to sketch the mood board to be able to draw UI. The UI work was fast. After this phase, they started the CMS and frontend development.

Jimmy's developer is part of the 3 headed frontend team, plus they cooperate with other client's internal developers and teams. There was a training of all developers provided by the clients, the developers did some analysis and started working on a project.
After a couple of weeks, they switched to the new big project which the client currently developing. The technologies they use: CSS, HTML5, Javascript, React and more.

The communication is done online using Slack, Jira, emails and Google meet. The developer has daily timeframe he needs to work. We have another 1-1 meetings with Jimmy management where they control the quality and our satisfaction. The cooperation lasts at least 6+ months.

How quick they were able to deliver a guy we exactly needed. The communication and quality control process from their side is very good and impressive. They are also able to solve or help with any issue.

Agile, meaning SCRUM. We work with two weeks sprints. The communication is done online using Slack, Jira and Google meets. We set a strict working hours which they need to follow and we have regular status meetings for which they are always available.

The quality of their results and overall the approach of the team. They constantly try to improve the product, the code and the workflow. In case of any issues they were always were quick with solving them, meaning both personal related and work related.
