They have a very good understanding of their customers’ needs. Not only do they treat me as a customer, but they also treat my customer as a customer.
The team has a very good understanding of our business. They get into tasks quickly, and sometimes even deliver faster than we expect.
How did JBS, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
We work on a sprint basis and have daily standup meetings. On a weekly basis, we also have a presentation to go over the results.
We communicate through Slack and Redmine, using the latter for reporting too. Sometimes we receive recorded demos that we can use for our own needs and share with our customer as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re efficient—they’re able to become experts on a topic within just a few weeks or months of beginning work in its domain. They’re energetic and motivated, going from the position of having basic knowledge and understanding to quite a dense level from which they can provide advice.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their pricing is competitive, but I’d like it to be a bit lower. Also, sometimes the resource allocation time is a bit longer than we expected. It might be due to the market, but still, it affects us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Start with a simple task because the fit is a matter of culture. That will show you whether you want to build the business with this partner or not.
