Military Inclusion hosted veteran career fairs nationally since 2012, we provide a national job board and national resume database for veterans, active duty, and military spouses. I launched several websites and I am the CEO of the company.

Website design from scratch and monthly maintenance of these websites. What were your goals for this project?

As an entrepreneur, I am always looking to launch business development opportunities. My goal is to raise revenue, grow the website audiences and provide a website that is simple and easy to navigate and make purchases.

How did you select this vendor?

I connected with the company of a Craig's List Freelancer Portal. I negotiated a fee for the first website, they completed the task on time with quality work and I have been using their services ever since.

Describe the project in detail.

All my websites require databases, social media connections, and Word Press maintenance. The sites needed to be user-friendly, easy to navigate, ability to easily make transactions or purchases. All my sites were completed as requested.

What was the team composition?

They have about 18-22 people on staff now and anything and everything I need to be done on my websites can be accomplished. In other words, there is no shortage of talent and technology that they have access to and available whenever needed!

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We launched a national resume database on the Military Inclusion website, within weeks we had dozens of veterans resumes featured on the website and it is still growing today. Our clients are eager to be able to target a network of veteran job seekers!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They spent the time to understand my needs and make absolutely certian they understood the task before completing it.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The rates they charge in comparison to the quality of work and service they have provided me for many years!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not, in my opinion, we have an ongoing great working relationship.

I’m a digital marketing and e-commerce consultant for Citrine, LLC.

What challenge were you trying to address with JD INFOTECH?

I needed a backend developer for a website. The partnership grew from there.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I acted as a liaison for some creative frontend branding work with my client. I worked with the client to create a content plan of what they wanted to have on the website, and I assessed the size of the project and what had to be included. Once I had those, I had a meeting with JD Infotech to walk them through the work involved in the project, what platform to use, and so on. After that, we started working together.

JD Infotech has since provided Shopify and WordPress development. I’ve worked on four websites with them. I oversee the design and tell them what I’m looking for, and then they develop or design the site. They ensure that the sites display correctly on all device types. We also discuss how many tabs and subcategories the site has. They implement plug-ins for checkout, shipping, payment, and more. They also set up marketing platforms like Constant Contact, MailChimp, and newsletter signups.

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with Jigar (Managing Director), and I have another contact for maintenance work.

How did you come to work with JD INFOTECH?

I initially found them on a Clutch list.

How much have you invested with them?

I’ve paid them $18,000–$20,000 for all the websites so far.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with JD Infotech in February 2018. The latest site has launched. I did three other websites with them in 2019, and we’re about to start the next one.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Especially now, with the coronavirus, it’s even more important to be online. I’ve definitely seen an increase of around 70% in the product-driven websites’ ability to attract and convert users.

How did JD INFOTECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We use Zoom and Skype to communicate, and I send them the changes I need through Google Docs. We usually talk early in the morning my time. They’re very easy to work with and flexible with time differences.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I call JD Infotech "the website development cracks." Even though the work is based on themes that we’ve bought, which are limited in options, they always find a way to get to what I need. That’s really incredible. It may take 1–2 days sometimes, but they always succeed. That’s what I love about working with JD Infotech. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish they would check deliverables more thoroughly before sending them out to me. Otherwise, it’s pretty good service all around. They’re very flexible in making any changes I request, and they don’t charge me.

the project is very complex, more than making a website. we take our bookings online and constantly need back up with our bookings, payments, weekly updates, constant seo and website changes. we rely on Jd Infotech to do these all for us

initially their company had around 10 people to the best of my knowledge, each doing different things. right now they are around 20 i believe however we directly deal with Jigar Joshi which is the manager or Sneha who is the project manager in their company.

our business started making money since the day one after we went online. thanks to their constant support and responsiveness even in public holidays, we are now literally one of the busiest online only companies in Australia. our website is the only means for us to have business and w have it all from this company. they are seriously the best company we have dealt with since the beginning

very good and responsive with minimum mistakes. easy to communicate with and always responsive. this is the reason we have chosen them comparing to the local suppliers

responsiveness, effectiveness and great precision in service which leaves us no headache

obviously every organisation can be better day by day however we are happy with the current service we are receiving from them

I’m the CEO of LiveClefs, an events management company working with Bollywood celebrities. We have exclusive deals with artists listed on our website, and people looking to book them for events can contact us. We’ll manage everything, including booking the artist, creating the event, and handling payments.

What challenge were you trying to address with JD Infotech?

We needed to develop our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

JD Infotech developed our website using WordPress. They suggested it as the best platform for us to manage ourselves. It’s easy for us to add artists to the backend. Users can browse artists and search by categories and locations. There’s a booking form as well that they can use to make inquiries. Then, our customer support team contacts these leads. They also did SEO work for us.

What is the team composition?

I believe there were 12–14 people at the time we contacted them.

How did you come to work with JD Infotech?

My team looked for IT organizations online and contacted multiple companies. JD Infotech’s manager had a good understanding of what we needed. Our concept is different, and it was important for us that the company building our website understood that. We got quotes from multiple companies, but JD Infotech gave us a good and proper response, including some free initial designs, which were really good.

How much have you invested with them?

We agreed on $4,500 initially, but we added some features after development was done, which cost us another $1,800–$2,000. The total cost is around $6,500. They charged us around $1,500 for the SEO work as well.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with JD Infotech in mid-2018. The project took 3–4 months to complete, ending in November or December of that year. They proposed the SEO project at the beginning of 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m not sure how many visitors we’ve had, but we’ve received 25–30 leads in the first couple of months. Since then, leads increased to 50–70 per month. SEO has also helped increase our leads. When we started that effort, we were at 80–90 per month, and now we’re at 180–200.

The quality of work they provide is really good. I’ve given them 4–5 references since the project, and the site is user-friendly on the backend.

How did JD Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve been in touch with a couple of people from their team, and I plan to visit their office. Their staff is high-quality and polite, and they know what they’re doing. They explain technical things in a way that’s easy for us to understand. My team has communicated with their project manager for most of the work, and she answers all their questions and gives proper updates on everything. We’re quite comfortable working with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve only done one project with them so far, aside from the SEO work. They stood out through the design they created. It’s simple, but it’s really bold. The functionalities they developed are really user-friendly, which was important for us. We wanted it to be easy to manage the website and add new content and images on the backend.

Also, they talk to the customer in a professional and polite manner. They explain each and everything, and we’re able to understand what they’re trying to say.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re doing a good job, but I think they should market themselves more so that more people can get to them. They don’t do too much marketing, and they have limited resources to get clients.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I’ve already referred them to 2–3 friends, who I’ve shown our website too. Our business is doing well because of their website and SEO work. I’ve had a great experience with JD Infotech.
