I’m the CEO of a software development company.
What challenge were you trying to address with JAMEL Agency?
We needed help in promoting a new product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
JAMEL Agency created an animated video explaining our brand new product we developed using JavaScript. It provides customers the capability to calculate very complex mathematical and engineering formulas. We wanted to promote it to our customers and to attract new open-source customers with the help of the film.
What is the team composition?
There were around four people who worked on the project, including one of their co-founders.
How did you come to work with JAMEL Agency?
JAMEL Agency did some great shots that are displayed on the walls around the office. They’re pretty famous here in Poland too. We felt they were the right company because of their success and they had a great portfolio.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $6,400.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–May 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They provided great service and we were happy with their work. They weren’t responsible for the promotion of the video, but they delivered great results with the animated video they produced.
How did JAMEL Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
It wasn’t that complex. JAMEL Agency used templates and premade forms. They received more information on what I wanted to see in the video and how to put it all together as the project progressed.
I don’t recall using any external tools. The team mainly used Google Drive and email, I didn’t feel I needed anything more than that.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were flexible and they were able to help us promote the film in English. Moreover, they have connections from all over and they utilized them to put together all the assets that were required. Whatever we’ve asked from them, they tried to gather the assets and provide solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think they have any areas they could improve. They met all the deadlines and provided excellent results. Perhaps, they could’ve organized one more meeting and some workshops instead of relying on email since we used that 95% of the time.

I’m the marketing and communication specialist at a medical device company.
What challenge were you trying to address with JAMEL Agency?
Every year, we enter a global business idea competition. We created an application to connect physicians with distributors as our submission. We wanted to present our idea in an engaging way to the competition committee.
What was the scope of their involvement?
JAMEL Agency created a video to present our application to the competition committee based on in-depth research.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact was their CEO. I also worked with two other people from their team. I’m sure there were other people involved since we had a very tight turnaround to meet our deadline.
How did you come to work with JAMEL Agency?
I did research on which Polish companies would be the best to work with. I found a couple of agencies on Google and sent a request to them. JAMEL Agency was the first to get back to me and the negotiations were very smooth.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2020, and we wrapped up in October 2020. It took less than two weeks in total.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have any metrics on how successful the video was because it’s still being reviewed by the committee. In general, I can say that I’m very happy with it. I could feel that they’re not new in the industry and they know what they’re doing. I was so satisfied that I recommended them to the competition’s global vendor basket so that others could use them too.
How did JAMEL Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
The communication was very smooth, and I only communicated with their CEO. The team was very proactive, experienced, and able to finish within our tight deadline. Things were very efficient from the beginning.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I would recommend them to anyone; they’re the best I’ve worked with so far.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing and communication for Bossard Group. We are a company that deals with screws and all kinds of fasteners. We also provide consultancy services to engineers specifically with products.
What challenge were you trying to address with JAMEL Agency?
We’re working with JAMEL Agency to enrich our marketing activities. They have the knowledge and skills we cannot do in-house, so we’re cooperating with them specifically for their animation services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
With JAMEL Agency, there’s not only one project. They started out creating simple icons, fact sheets, graphics, and illustrations. They also design and program features that can be integrated into our website like interactive pop-ups and graphics. They also animate videos and create storyboards based on the storylines we provide them.
What is the team composition?
I’m in direct contact with three people, Marcin (Co-Owner) and Jakub (Co-Owner) and another teammate.
How did you come to work with Philip Agnello Creative Consulting?
Business services in Switzerland can be really expensive so we focused our attention on cooperating with countries with low-cost services. Luckily, two of our staff members are from Poland so we asked them if they could do some research on graphic design companies.
They then suggested JAMEL Agency. We conducted a little research and gave them some test cases they needed to fulfill. After being satisfied with the results, we decided to give them a go.
How much have you invested with them?
I believe an average of €30,000 (approximately $35,000 USD) a year is what we spend.
What is the status of this engagement?
The first task we sent to them was in January 2015 and our work has been ongoing with them ever since.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For quality, if I had to rate them out of ten, I’d give them an 8–9. I’m pretty satisfied, specifically with their speed and flexibility. In terms of their impact, now that we have more attractive marketing materials, we get more traffic on the website which results in getting better leads.
How did Philip Agnello Creative Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?
We mainly communicate through email. There are some instances when they couldn’t fulfill a deadline but at least they would still communicate with us to let us know but generally, they really stick to the deadline about 90% of the time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Nothing really outstanding comes to mind, but we’re happy with how flexible they can be when it comes to deadlines.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would like for them to improve the accuracy of their reports by providing a monthly or quarterly overview of the projects. They actually do this yearly, where we discuss hourly rates.
As a manager, the best thing for me is to do it monthly instead of yearly, just to see what’s going on. Sometimes I don’t have a clue what they’re doing and it would be a great improvement to have a monthly report.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re really good guys who are fun to work with while remaining professional. Nevertheless, it’s recommendable that you discuss the rates early on because you can make it a little bit lower and sometimes we get the impression that the rates are a bit too high. Quite often we talk to them to negotiate prices, so my best advice is to just follow up on the offer.

As Deputy CEO I am responsible for daily operations as well as business development, i.e. organic growth via search and negotiation of new franchise agreements as well as new business lines.
For what projects/services did your company hire JAMEL Agency?
Production of promotional video for our new products for ground engineering.
What were your goals for this project?
Explain the technological process for the installation of the newly developed system for non-specialists in the field.
How did you select JAMEL Agency?
Selection of the tools for production of the promotional video, good references from other clients, smooth and fast communication.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
After general explanation of the business environment we are in, we have walked them through the script prepared by us and provided general images; we have set the timely limit for the video as well as stressed important parts to be highlighted within the video.
JAMEL was responsible for further selection of additional images, converting of our general script into appealing story-telling via animated video, production of 3D renders, selection of the background music etc.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
Jamel engaged one key account manager + 2-3 people working in the background; we have always received feedback and up-to-date information on missing material, images, suggestions on changes, information on the final dates and deliveries
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
JAMEL have managed to meet our time, budge and quality targets; final outcome was in line with the expectations and to some extent above (e.g. animation parts were improved compared to what we were using before); after the completion of the project, we have collected the feedback from 3rd parties, all of which was very positive
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Excellent communication, timing, good tools for providing dynamic feedback on parts of the video; overall very good
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We were impressed with their simple and uncomplicated way of communication; none hierarchical but target and customer oriented
