Jackson Hedden Product Designer
Design is fueled by the dreams of what could be. Taking what could be and insuring that it becomes a reality, is successful design.
-
Empathy allows you to dream of a profound solution.
-
Aesthetics is how you convey the beauty of the dream.
-
Function is what makes the dream a reality.
All three elements are needed to design meaningful products. Therefore, to be a good designer, you need to truly understand the core of these three points. It is about understanding, and interpreting, the future possibilities of our world. It is about not letting the future stay a mere dream.

Jackson Hedden Lamborghini Chest
Jackson Hedden Lamborghini is arguably one of the fastest cars in the world, constantly changing gears throughout the day. This collection was designed to allow you to flow through the furniture, like a Lamborghini through a race track. A flow so smooth that it fits all of your changing moods throughout the day.

Jackson Hedden Bentley Motors
To encapsulate a century’s worth of high-performance vehicles, and design, into a single piece of usable furniture is no easy task. The final product should reflect the perseverance and longevity of the brand’s presence in the automotive industry. The white, quilted leather is symbolic of a traditional unveiling cloth. As if the white, quilted leather is being pulled off of a new, futuristic Bentley. Stainless steel accents, also, help to emulate an automotive grill and exhaust. From the top down, it looks like a Formula One race car, to pay homage to Bentley’s presence in the world of racing. The final piece is a commemoration, and celebration, of Bentley’s ability to consistently push boundaries within the field of automotive design, year after year.
The basic form of a chaise lounge was chosen as inspiration due to its bold, dynamic presence and versatility in any room. From a fainting couch, and daybed, of antiquity, to a modern statement recliner or chair, this form has evolved to fit the ever-changing world of design. It symbolizes the history, style, resilience, and progression of Bentley.

Jackson Hedden Usual Wine
The form’s silhouette conveys a sense of modernity. By inverting the visual lines of a wine glass, the design is, both, classy and sleek. Usual is about creating a new wine experience. Although small in size, each individual wine can be enjoyed on its own, or a four pack can be shared with company. Even the packaging can transform into a reusable ice bucket. Instead of being dismissed as garbage, now, even the packaging can help to enhance your wine time.

Jackson Hedden Fastest Electric Skateboard
To give someone a reliable mode of transportation, in the smallest package available. This is made for all of the urban cities, that are plagued by insufferable traffic.

Jackson Hedden UI/UX Design
Websites can be incredibly boring like blogs, so instead I wanted to make the product imagery the story. Removing all the the excess words and allowing the vocabulary to be the details. It’s a Gallery with White walls and contemporary ideas.
Websites can be incredibly boring. Lengthy captions, and wordy blog posts, allow for minimal visual engagement. Instead, I wanted the imagery to tell the story. Removing all unnecessary words, helps to insure that undivided attention is given to the aesthetics of each design. Think of it as a classic, white wall art gallery filled with futuristic ideas

Jackson Hedden Branding
Rebranding, removing all the capital letters because that feels like communism. I want the logo to feel normal, I wanted to be approachable and clear. Hardlines remove but precise, Spacing to be consistent and representational of the letters used.

Jackson Hedden and Kabaq Food AR
Food is delicious, but presentation is everything. Often the menu description is what sells you, but KABAQ allows the food to stand on its own. This product breaks both social and cultural boundaries by allowing everyone to order what food looks, not sounds, good. The 3-D scanner is a mere white plate, on which your food is displayed.
