Project management was flawless. We had weekly meetings via Zoom and almost daily communication via email. The team is highly responsive and has shown great commitment to the project.

Their technical expertise was great, and the team had no problem meeting the challenges we posed. We also appreciated their commitment to meeting our timelines and their ability to make smart decisions when the requirements weren't clear enough. The entire team made an excellent impression.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have done an amazing job in our case, and I don't see much to suggest right now. Maybe on a bigger project we will have ideas for improvements, but for now everything has gone as expected.

The experience and flexibility of the mobile developers eased our transition and in a short time they managed to improve the performance of our team. I’d like to also highlight the convenience and efficiency of the augmentation model - all administrative responsibilities were handled by Itexus.

Itexus is very accommodating of our project management preferences and capable of providing strong leadership where we wanted it. We communicated via email and Microsoft Teams. Project documentation and development progress was managed in Atlassian's Jira and Confluence applications.

They were very professional, but also very pleasant to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We would have like to have progressed more quickly through the project, but sometimes that is no one's fault. If we were to do it over again I would ask for more detailed reporting on progress in order to better understand what is being worked on and what the roadblocks are.

We partnered with Itexus to build the first version of our startup's initial web application. The goal was to move to the next level of testing with a higher fidelity app deployed to a broad audience. It is anticipated that this MVP will enable us to raise our next round of funding.

The management team at Itexus is top notch and very proficient. Itexus project management also places a lot of emphasis on following a formal development process based on best practices which really helped improve stability and reliability.

The Itexus team leverages a modern technical product management stack including Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Github.

The people at Itexus are delightful to work with. I have been incredibly impressed by the team's willingness to adapt their process based on the needs of the project. We were a very particular client in terms of our technology, process, and communication preferences.

The team was always helpful and readily adapted. I also appreciated their focus on process improvement. If ever issues came up, Itexus treated us fairly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

For intensive consumer-facing applications, the team's process for generating technical requirements could have benefitted from a collaborative UX-first approach.

Working together to nail the UX and allowing the design to drive core requirements would have resulted in a mutual increase in efficiency during development. The team adapted as we learned.

Itexus was very casual and direct, which was awesome. Very time-oriented but not annoying about it. Communication was simple and we chose to use email.

Their ability to be so down to earth and understanding of our needs from the first 5 minutes of our initial engagement. I knew within that time frame that Itexus was the development company for us. From that point on each meeting was professional and fun, the teams were super prepared and well versed, and each deliverable was above expectations. Their recommendations for the best business practices and designs for user functionality was beyond our imagination. Very great work.

Our app is an innovative life-saving app - We enable fast first aid in any emergency situation. The intelligent emergency app that saves lives with just a tap. You can alert the emergency services and one or two qualified first responders in the immediate vicinity.

We needed a modern and great-looking frontend which would integrate with our existing backend solution.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for a near-shore companies that could help us creating a modern frontend application. We shortlisted 3 companies and started to work with 2. After 6 month we reduced to one and Itexus was this remaining company as we were most satisfied with their provided results.

We needed a new frontend based on modern web technologies. We decided to use Angular as our technology stack. The backend services were developed in-house and deployed as development environments that could be used by Itexus. We based our project organziation on agile methods and worked with a SCRUM board. New issues has been created by us and then have been estimated by Itexus. After short discussion issues has been then prioritized by us and Itexus started working on them.

What were your goals for this project? A telehealth platform to enable women to take care of their mental health on the go.
