What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The outcome has been pretty good. Our stakeholders are confident in what we’ve achieved so far. InventCo Labs is always available. We had some issues outside of working days, and their availability was commendable.
I think they’ve only been in business for 3–4 years, but they’ve matured pretty well. My experience has been good so far. We gained trust in them as we went on, and it's gone pretty well.
How did InventCo Labs perform from a project management standpoint?
Rishabh is my main contact, and my conversations with him have been very smooth. He understands the business in-depth. There were a few hiccups in the beginning because of changes in our requirements.
We didn’t set hard deadlines in the beginning, and we changed the scope of the project. The delivery was smooth after we finalized the scope. In the end, we were happy and they were happy. There were a lot of changes in the implementation and in the design, which derailed us a little bit.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed with their domain knowledge. We talked to them about our business and gave them some of the keywords, and they did the research for us. InventCo Labs came up with an entire analysis, and we just needed to pick some of the options.
They took care of the hardest part, and they always give us options to choose from. This made for a very smooth transition when we had to build the solution.
As the technical director, it’s always good for me to have multiple options to choose from, rather than defining a business and technical strategy, and then having the provider execute it. They made that part very easy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wish they would have quoted us a lower price in the beginning, but the quality they’ve produced justifies the cost.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
After you give them the problem statement, they will take care of the entire solution, from analysis to execution.
