What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The community uses our website, and we don’t even use it to the full extent that we could.
The new website has way more bells and whistles than the other one—probably more than we need. We definitely utilized Drupal’s capabilities. There are some pretty fancy things on the website.
How did Intrepid Network perform from a project management standpoint?
Josh is realistic, and he’s a businessman. He’s very good at what he does. He’s good about telling you what it will take to do something, and he does exactly what you ask him to do.
During the project, we primarily communicated over email, but we also spoke over the phone. Now, I send him a note if we have spam on the site and he fixes it.
If we need something additional done, I’ll get a separate bill for that. He breaks out the bill per-project. I don’t have to worry about the website at all. Intrepid Network will take care of it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Josh has experience in design, workflow, and the technical aspects of Drupal. Now, if I need a logo really quick, he can do it. He’s not a professional graphics person, but he is good at turning around a quick logo or a page layout.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This isn’t a complaint, but he takes his work very seriously. If I ask him a simple, question, I’ll get an entire page of email back—he does a lot of research.
So, it’s good and bad because we’re all very busy. Sometimes, he’ll spend a lot of time answering a “yes or no” question with an entire email.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Potential customers should make sure they are clear about what they want and how much time it’s going to take before moving forward.
