Our client is one of the European leaders in the mobility services industry providing e-mobility and fleet management solutions and products and other mobility-related services. 

Challenge 

For the mobility services provider, Intellias developed a tool for automated calculation of CO2 emissions based on the classification of trucks. The solution was expected to collect the general vehicle data and to estimate its CO2 emission, thus placing a vehicle into the appropriate class according to the European classification.

Solution 

We built a user-friendly application that consumed the truck data, such as its registration date, energy source, as well as technical details affecting the truck’s CO2 emission. Based on the analysis of truck data, the application calculates its level of CO2 emission and assigns it a grade according to the CO2 emission standards approved by the EU.

Business outcome 

The CO2 emission classification app developed by Intellias reduced the effort required to calculate the emission produced by each vehicle in the fleet. For our client, the tool facilitated compliance with the applicable regulations and streamlined logistics and fleet management processes.
