Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After the initial audit and set up phase - 1-2 months, they helped to integrate some ideas that immediately helped to boost the conversion rates. Some were incremental boosts in results but nevertheless positively impacting the sales and user experience of our sites. There were a few changes that brought a bigger conversion rate boost.

This was as expected as the hypothesis and findings led to a much better understanding of our customers. The ideas and hypotheses we shared and discussed between both the client and the CRO and Project Manager weekly which resulted in positive collaboration. It took a little while to get started but the later results made up for the slower start in the beginning.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Excellent. They helped to point out and advise of possible workflow issues and adjusted their way of working to the client. They were both flexible and professional in the way they delivered results and implementation / QA checks of the recommendations.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The technical side of CRO is handled well with data-driven decision making and a strong process-driven organization. Very organized in handling clients.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Yes. Copywriting, persuasion, and marketing skills are lacking. This is a data-driven company. Conversion/Persuasion skills can be upgraded. A better understanding of sales funnels is required. More flexibility in dealing with clients would also be welcomed.

We documented what should be tracked and which dashboards will be needed.

  1. First strategizing session. More detail about each of our marketing tools , their position in our business strategy and relations between each other. Then we'll need you to go through all of your funnels and comment on most important points. We'll also be asking some questions on the way. This will be recorded.
  2. After that within 3 business days we come up with the first version of the measurement plan (MP).
  3. Second call. Presenting of the draft of MP to the client and noting corrections, if needed.
  4. Depending on the corrections within next 1-2 business days we finalize the MP and provide you estimate for the implementation.

Majority of the work consists of an initial audit for a client based on the client's needs or area of focus. I assisted in relating information from the client to Insight Whale to tailor the tests to ensure the desired outcomes are inline with that of our clients.

We primarily deal with a project manager from Insight Whale but there is a full team of designers, CRO specialists and developers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have had a number of recent successful projects with clients in a number of industries. One of the most successful results to date was an a/b test that double the number of enquiry form submits across a whole sub-directory of a website. This had a direct impact on the revenue received by the company and was of course positively received.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Although there is a significant time difference between Insight Whales and ourselves the team consistently has had a 24 hours response rate. Additionally, fortnightly meetings are held to discuss work in progress. In regards, tools use to manage workflow a combination of teamwork and Google Tools are used.

I'm impressed by their ability to adapt to the needs of a client no matter how complicated they may have been. And the communication from project managers has improved consistently over time.

Insightwhale was recommended to me by the PPC agency I was working with at the time.

We designed and developed a custom checkout, navigation, and product database. We also implemented custom front end UX/UI and created a custom app to solve business management needs.

What was the team composition?

The team fluctuates based on the task, with the exception of the project manager. The project manager is very thorough and connects the appropriate partners to the project for efficient completion. The project manager is always readily available and in contact with questions, answers, and solutions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The first month after launch we saw a 54% rise in conversion rate which, with our continued work, has continued to steadily increased. We've seen lower bounce rates, and increased revenue. The solution reduced product data errors which therefor decreased our cancellation rate by 20%.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was arranged through email and conference calls. Deadlines were set and met consistently and the manager was always available.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was most impressed by the amount of time InsightWhale put into our projects. They consistently work past midnight and on weekends to achieve goals, which I have never seen from other vendors.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Some of the engineers can be difficult to understand at times. But luckily the project managers are extremely well versed at explaining the details of all the technical aspects of a project.
