We provided a design and the Innvonix team developed the necessary frontend and backend architecture using React.js and Laravel. Following the success of this project, we decided to partner with them for future development needs.

We worked with a project manager and a developer.

How did you come to work with Innvonix Technologies?

They previously expressed interest in working with us. When the need to outsource arose, we contacted them along with several other suppliers. I conducted an interview and the team seemed to have the necessary capabilities to complete the project by the deadline and I found the CEO to be very trustworthy.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2017 and the partnership is ongoing. We are currently collaborating on several other projects.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our end-client responded positively to the UI element, but we have no information to quantitatively gauge the results of their services.

How did Innvonix Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

The team excellently managed the project. We communicated daily through Jira to assure we met our end-client’s hard deadline.

It’s crucial for clients to develop a proper work plan and detailed documentation to accurately convey the requirements. It makes the project move quickly and efficiently. Most vendors were only talking about academic qualifications or were really expensive and had poor practical performance and quality. Finally, we found Innvonix online and they were the best, so we decided to stick with them.

They developed and implemented our website and mobile app. It’s a social media platform with an innovative message tagging system that’s the first of its kind. The app has automatic number-plate recognition as well as location tagging.

Our platform has become a reality. People can now see it and use it, and we’re adding more features to it as it gains traction.

PlusGuests is a startup company creating a software platform for the rental business in Spain. It will provide an easy check-in system for short-term guests in HomeAway and Airbnb villas and apartments. I’m the founder and CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Innvonix Technologies?

Spain implemented a law that requires homeowners and property management companies to register all guests who rent villas or apartments. It’s a manual process where guests must provide their passports and ID information. We wanted to make that process digital.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They outlined the entire platform, documented everything, and showed me what modules we needed in a very professional manner. They did all the architecture work and development, as well as the prototype, frontend, and social media.

The first phase is complete, and they’re currently working on marketing.

What is the team composition?

I work with five people on a 25-person team, including an account manager, two marketing people, and some others who handle social media. I mainly interact with a person involved in business development, but have also worked with the owner as he’s participated quite a bit.

How did you come to work with Innvonix Technologies?

I told them about my idea with this company when they called me about another company I had. I described it to them and then they returned with their ideas. They immediately came up with a plan and I knew there was nothing to think about. I’d been talking to some other vendors at the time, but Innvonix already knew what they needed to do and how much it would cost. It was cheap and really well-done.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $8,000–$9,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2017 and the project is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started in April 2017 and were done three months later. I’m using the system now and we have more customers coming in. Some customers have requested some new features or changes.

Innvonix responds and solves problems very quickly. They’re really good at what they’re doing. They’ve delivered according to our timeline, cost estimates, and expected quality. I can’t think of a single thing they could be doing better.

How did Innvonix Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

Their team is very professional. They have a clear plan and document everything. They tell me when they need something from me and provide time estimates for every task. We’ve had a few problems with bugs, but nothing major.

We’ve had meetings twice a week during intense phases. We mostly use Skype but have used Asana as well. They used Mantis during the testing phase. We also used Excel sheets for plans.

Quality, speed, and cost are all important in project management. They delivered on all three.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their project management and business development skills are outstanding. I haven’t seen that before.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could clarify the set of tools earlier. We came in with Asana late in the project. Talking about the pros and cons of each tool would be nice. We made the right decision, but I’m not sure if it was well-thought through or if we just got lucky.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re fast and efficient, but you need to know what you want. You need to be able to focus because they are fast and professional. It’s going to be costly if the customer doesn’t meet those requirements.
