I represent Renaissance Hotels and also Le Meridien. I am the vice president of brand management and marketing for the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with InnoviMobile?

Renaissance Hotels aims at helping guests discover their local neighborhood. We wanted to give guests an opportunity to use their own mobile phone in order to access local recommendations from our on-property concierge.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We partnered up with InnoviMobile in order to develop what we call a navigator app which takes discoveries curated by on-property navigators and publishes them, allowing guests to find places to eat, drink, and spend time. InnoviMobile has developed an iOS and web-based app for us.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

InnoviMobile has done great work. In terms of consumer impact, we've received quite a few downloads. People were using our content, but I don't have any exact numbers. We have shifted strategy in the meantime, and haven't continued with the app.

InnoviMobile was responsive, timely, had a can-do attitude, understood our business challenge, and provided help for it. We mainly communicated over in-person meetings and email.

What did you find most impressive about InnoviMobile?

InnoviMobile was entrepreneurial, operating like a startup and remaining responsive to us. They were also cost-effective and delivered a good product.
