Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of MedLogic Ltd., a medical software startup. We’re hoping to go live with our first software product in a few months’ time.
What challenge were you trying to address with Innovensa Ltd?
We needed their team to help us refine our healthcare software by updating its security and design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I’ve worked with Innovensa Ltd very closely over a number of years as we’ve redeveloped our healthcare software. We always begin by discussing our goals and the concept design frameworks before they notify us if the prototypes are according to their capacity and preferences.
Their team performed a lot of tasks in line with reinventing our software. We asked them to study our clinical platform and absorb the vital information that they needed to be able to recreate it in a way that spoke to our vision. After they accomplished the research and conceptualization phases, they developed our new cloud-based software using Azure. In order to ensure the platform’s security, it underwent various testing stages and extra measures.
Although Innovensa Ltd’s main role for this project centers on software development, they’ve come up with propositions that we’ve closely considered as product alternatives. They also support us in strengthening our brand by providing creative solutions and suggestions.

Two of Innovensa Ltd’s key developers have been assigned to work with us.
How did you come to work with Innovensa Ltd?
They were recommended to me. We then set a provisional meeting with their team to get to know them more. Innovensa Ltd impressively talked about their services and answered our queries, so we were happy to onboard their team.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent £20,000 (approximately $28,000 USD) so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in July 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re currently going through the latest version of the product specifications set by the National Health Service in the UK, and a significant proportion of those have been met based on the work that Innovensa Ltd has taken over for the past couple of years. That’s always a strong starting point. Apart from that, the system they’ve designed closely mirrors our prototype.
Although it’s not directly related to the prototype system that they transferred from an in-house database to a cloud platform, it allowed us to rank seventh among the national healthcare organizations in the UK. What they’ve done so far has successfully transformed that functionality into a new cloud system. We’ve been able to design the extra functionality and build it into the system in a straightforward way. We’re reaping the rewards of that now — things are moving very smoothly.
Having worked very closely with them in this enjoyable partnership, I’m very impressed by their capacity to help us reach such milestones.
How did Innovensa Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
Before COVID-19 hit, we personally met with their team to discuss the project. We’ve since used email and Microsoft Teams to keep in touch with each other. We conduct calls and meetings at least thrice a month and plan intensively when necessary.
At the beginning of our engagement, Innovensa Ltd had to study a lot of medical terms and technologies, so as with any new project, there was a learning curve. That meant that the process was a little slow, but I was still impressed with how thorough they put together everything. They took their time to get their head around the project, and it allowed us to be flexible in response to matters like the pandemic.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Innovensa Ltd vigorously took interest in our software from the beginning of our partnership. They’re an imaginative team, and they’re always willing to go above and beyond to deliver our needs. Additionally, listening is one of their strengths — they’ll present mockups and listen to our suggestions in order to improve the outcome of their work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think so. At the beginning of the project, I thought that they were progressing slowly but I was actually wrong because their pace has always been reliable. They’ve done a great job.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As much as I want to keep their team to myself, I know that Innovensa Ltd is a highly recommendable company. They’re capable of providing good service, so all you have to do is trust their team to do the work for you.
