Tight Integration With Client’s Teams & Processes
We started working with PALFINGER in February 2020 as an extension of their in-house software development team, to facilitate faster creation of internal and customer-facing apps.
For our first project, we worked on two applications: one has digitized equipment handover to clients, so it is done in a more efficient way, and the second one ensures that crane servicing is conducted according to the established processes.
For the second project, we did a challenging rewrite of an existing app that was developed using Flash - due to this technology being phased out by the end of 2020. The new version of the app to store and search for equipment mounting documentation was developed using .NET, Angular & Azure.
The partnership is ongoing, and our dedicated team is growing to support the client with upcoming development projects.

SaaS Platform for Energy Resources Planning
We started working on their custom SaaS web application for optimized local energy resources planning in January 2020.
Within two weeks, we finished the discovery phase and then moved on to six 2-week development sprints to create the MVP.
Although the scope was expanded beyond developing the SaaS web app to include creating the frontend UI/UX design and relied on using the concurrently developed REST API to integrate Sympheny’s ehub tool, we finished everything on time, and our client successfully got additional funding to continue developing the platform.

Custom Integration of AI-based E-Commerce Search P
Findologic has been developing its advanced search & navigation solutions for e-commerce since 2008. We have been working with them since April 2016.
First, we helped them finish the development of a lightning-fast e-commerce search module, and ever since then, our team has worked on dozens of Findologic platform integrations into end-customers e-commerce websites.
Depending on e-commerce client needs, integration projects include advanced search and navigation modules, assisted and smart suggest features, as well as personalized UI features.

Crossplatform Web & Mobile App Development
FamiliPay is a comprehensive platform aimed at enabling divorced and separated families to track and pay child-related expenses, communicate easily and without conflict, and organize children-related activities.
In this project, we are the sole technological partner in charge of elements that include UI & UX design, developing the web application, payment facilitation, Android & iOS mobile applications, as well as the project’s website.
The development started in early 2018, an MVP was created within a year, and the first version was launched in 2020.

Web & Mobile Apps for Managing Fitness Sessions
We helped develop the Activio Fitness System that utilizes wireless communication between the most common chest belts on the market and other Bluetooth wearables with the user’s smart device to report on the level of physical intensity during group training sessions. The system consists of a desktop application created using WPF technology, mobile applications for Android and iOS developed using Xamarin, and the Activio administrative desktop. We also created a new Activio REST API to enable efficient communication between all parts of the system.

Web & Mobile Apps with Sports Tracker Integration
We have been working with Beyond Pulse since 2017, and during that time we created two sets of web and mobile applications for soccer coaches and players, that integrate with their chest belts.
First, we finalized their existing web application for coaches and then developed both iOS and Android applications with the same features.
Then we create a similar set of web and mobile apps that enable soccer players to track their own data, especially during solo training sessions.
The cooperation is still ongoing, with our team of 10+ people working on the app maintenance and improvements.

Mobile App Development for Medical Device Trading Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
C-Entry is a trading company for medical devices and IVD with a big goal to offer a convenient, easy to handle, and secure solution for safely opening „social life“ during COVID-19 times. We are doing this by providing physical SARS-CoV-2 self-testing kits and wanted to expand our efforts using mobile apps to locally and safely store test results and show entry certificates (when possible). In this way, we are providing companies (and the economy at large) with a solution to gradually and safely open up again, by aligning with governmental efforts to roll out and intensify COVID-19 self-testing in order to gain back control over this disease.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
We hired Ingsoftware to develop iOS and Android mobile applications to support COVID-19 Self Test procedures. The apps we envisioned are used to safely store self-testing results and to, based on results, either enable users to freely enter restaurants, cafes, and other businesses, or to guide them on what to do if the result is positive. The apps do this by scanning unique QR codes on the self-test kits and by collecting photo proof of the test results.
For a negative result, the apps create a time-limited certificate that can be used (depending on the laws and regulations), for entry into different businesses and public institutions. For a positive test, the apps guide users to contact local health authorities to confirm the diagnosis.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Ingsoftware came highly recommended by a friend of the company. After hearing high praise about their mobile development, I got in touch with them and can only confirm the recommendation I received prior.. From the very first contact with Ingsoftware, it was clear that they are true professionals. They wanted to make sure they understood the project completely before giving us a quote and were transparent with all the challenges they foresee.
I could almost immediately see, they are not only software developers, but engineers who want to make sure they find the best way to create the cross-platform app for our project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project was to design and develop an MVP of a cross-platform application that works on iOS and Android devices, with key functionalities to digitize, verify and authorize results of SARS-CoV-2 self-testing kits implemented. To achieve this, Firebase and the Flutter framework were used because this combination allows for streamlined development of cross-platform apps, and we are targeting Android and iOS users.
For the UX design process, Miro was used to prepare the wireframes, Figma to design the screen, and Invision to review the work in an interactive manner.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Ingsoftware has put together an all-star team to work on our project. All four are perfect professionals, starting with the Project Manager who efficiently guided the whole process. There were also a backend developer, a frontend developer, and a UI/UX designer involved in the project. Apart from the technical skills, I highly appreciated the really friendly and kind conversation on a personal level.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The MVP version of both Android & iOS apps has been finished in line with the timeline put together by Ingsoftware’s team. Everything we talked about and agreed upon has been fulfilled without any issues. While we are working on publishing the apps and onboarding users, I have every confidence that the Ingsoftware team is the right partner for any future upgrades, as well as other projects we are thinking about.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Their Project Manager was a true leader of this project. He made sure both Ingsoftware and C-Entry teams are always well informed and up to date, that all the challenges are resolved efficiently, and all that lead to the successful launch of our MVP. To ensure this, an Agile approach based on Scrum methodology was used, so we had two-week sprints for planning and retrospective meetings. Also, I had access to the whole process through Ingsoftware’s Jira environment.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have blown me away by their approach to our project. They really took a deep dive into understanding what C-Entry apps are all about and set out not to strictly develop our vision, but to find the best possible solution to deliver an app users will find easy to use. Their approach is something that I haven’t experienced before when working with software development companies!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing really. They satisfied all the needs we had and did it in an exceptional manner.

Mobile App Development for Rowing Federation

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Digital Communications Manager of World Rowing, the International Rowing Federation and governing boby for the sport of rowing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
The World Rowing Federation, previously named FISA (from the French, Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d’Aviron) is the governing body of the sport of rowing. It is empowered by its 156 member National Rowing Federations. World Rowing sets the rules and regulations for the practice of the sport, in all its forms including elite, para-rowing, coastal, masters and aspects of indoor rowing.
World Rowing oversees sanctioned events and provides advice and expertise for the organisation of rowing regattas. We were looking to build an app for the World Rowing Rule Book.
This Rule Book contains all the WR statues and rules of racing and is updated every 4 years (small changes can happen annually). This Rule book is about 425 pages (A6 paper size) and is edited in English and French. The goal was to digitalize our Rule Book to have an easy access to its content anytime and anywhere
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We searched online for App developers and shortlisted a couple of them. After interviewing them, we chose ING Software because we thought they would be the best partners for this project, they had a good understanding of our needs and delivered.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We wanted to digitalize our RuleBook so it could be accessible to our umpires, everywhere in the world - and accessible offline. We had to send out the word document containing all the rules, and our branded guidelines document, so the app would respect our WR brand, and the design could respect these guidelines.
It didn't take a lot of time for the designers to design the App and it was then a matter of fine tuning the image library and making sure all the links were working, before we could launch the App on Play store and App store.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
A project manager was assigned to be our main point of contact throughout the project. He did a fantastic job in relaying our feedbacks to the developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Four months after our App was launched, we still have a 5 star rating and more than 500 downloads on Play store, and approx. the same thing on Apple Store - above our expectations !
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project manager assigned to this project was very easy to work with. As a federation, we always have some challenges - volunteers working for us, priority given to events - but he always understood our needs and was flexible. We had weekly meetings that helped us solve all the issues we may face and it was very easy to communicate in real time.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their flexibility, responsiveness, technical skills, and attention to detail were impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Because of the pandemic we couldn't meet in person and we wish we could have had more in-person meetings

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of the innovative startup Tell me Sr.l in Milan, Italy. The app allows users to easily save and organise all their past and future experiences into personalised collections. Users have the option of adding places they would love to visit, see, try, or are just dreaming about to a bucket list. Powered by an advanced Recommendation Engine, Tellme will provide personalised recommendations for future experiences based on users’ tastes, desires, preferences, and logged past experiences.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
We hired Ingsoftware to develop our brand-new mobile app called TellMe. But not only develop it, we wanted a partner who will lead our development project, be willing to brainstorm with us to find the best solutions for different challenges, and also to work closely with me so I can get at least some hands-on experience with managing a mobile app development process-
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We decided to work Ingsoftware based on the in-person interview with their CBO Miroljub Bošković. I was a little hesitant since it was all new for me, but he reassured me by giving me the possibility to learn about the process with the help of an amazing Project Manager, and also to have control over things and in the same time the possibility to challenge the development team over the decisions that needed to be made.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We used the Agile methodology and relied on the Scrum framework for product delivery. This enabled me as a client to be deeply involved in the whole project development cycle from the very beginning. As a part of our process, we had fortnightly sprints. This approach minimized the risk of exceeding the budget (in fact we saved money), and ensured the goals as defined by the project scope were met! Also, I had control over the product and could easily influence the end result. The product was developed as a native iOS mobile application. It is stored on Firebase, which was integrated into the app core as well as Google Places.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Three people were always involved in the project. A project manager and two mobile developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The mobile app was developed ahead of time, and with 15% lest cost then estimated during the discovery phase!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Their communication was impeccable. We used Slack and Jira to plan things. I was in loop all the time, so I knew what was going on and on what they were working at any given moment. We had weekly meetings and if we needed to solve an issue we would just jump on a call.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The feeling that we are on time. We were all working for the same goal and like a single team. Also, the way how everything was presented and explained to me. It was the most precious thing for me. Not only did I learn a lot, but I could also implement it immediately on other things.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I cannot point out anything specific. All of the project goals were met. The application was developed ahead of time and under the estimated budget.

Custom Software Dev for Crane Solutions Provider

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Henrik Binggl, Head of Software Development at PALFINGER, the world's leading provider of innovative crane and lifting solutions for use on commercial vehicles and in the maritime sector.
As an innovative company, we know how digital technologies are changing not only our lives but also the way we work, which is why we are continually creating software solutions to improve our internal processes, as well as to enable our customers to have the best possible experience, either when using our products or when interacting with our company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
We started working with Ingsoftware in early 2020 on two applications that are crucial parts of the product handover and servicing processes. Being very satisfied by their work, we expanded our cooperation with additional projects their developers work on.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
During the first conversations, Ingsoftware’s team impressed us with experience in technologies we use in our development (.NET, Angular, Azure, to name a few), as well as with processes they have set up internally - which showed us they care about doing it the right way. What eventually persuaded us to start working with them is the flexibility to adapt their own processes to our established practices. This enabled their tight integration with our in-house teams, as well as fast onboarding and productive work on all the projects we gave them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We first engaged Ingsoftware to work on creating apps to digitize two very important processes in our work with customers. First worked on digitization of the client product handover process. Something that was previously done on paper, is now a smooth process that instantly adds the correct data to our systems. For this project, their team is currently working on the app that is used by our maintenance personnel, to ensure that crane servicing is always done according to the highest standards and in line with set procedures.
In parallel, we tasked Ingsoftware with a challenging rewrite of an existing app that was developed years ago using Flash technology. Since Adobe was phasing out this technology by the end of 2020, we had to replace it with a modern solution. The app is used for storing and browsing documentation about how our different products are mounted. The apps the Ingsoftware team works on are developed using our standard tech stack that includes .NET, Angular & Azure.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We started the cooperation with 2 software engineers and have expanded the team to 8 people in 2021. At the moment, we are in talks to increase this number even more and expand the scope of our cooperation.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The first thing that was crucial for long-term cooperation is that Ingsoftware’s team has integrated perfectly with our organization. They adopted our existing processes and procedures and delivered tasks according to the plans our project managers set. Their development work is of top-notch quality and the apps they developed work without glitches.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
For us, the key is that they work great with our own team members, including our Scrum master. All day-to-day coordination, task management, and communication have been done using Azure DevOps and Microsoft Teams, the tools we as a company rely on.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They impressed me with three things - how well they executed various tasks put in front of them, how well they adapted to our way of working, and how well they clicked with our in-house team. All three are crucial ingredients for a successful partnership.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There is nothing in particular that I could point out. Our cooperation started just as the pandemic began, and we had to pause working together for three months. When we resumed operation, part of Ingsoftware’s team that was previously working with us changed, but that is nothing out of the ordinary and especially understandable due to the circumstances.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Founder and designer of a leather goods company and a jewelry company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
- I needed a new website for my leather goods company.
- They also built the first and second iterations of a website on Big Commerce for a jewelry company that I co-founded. They teamed up with another group we use to build the 3rd iteration by performing many of the front end tasks. ING currently maintains both of these websites. With respect to the jewelry company, they function as an in-house IT team for us.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Word of mouth. They came highly recommended. The first person I worked with in 2015 on the Peryton website was one of the founders -- Nenad. He was extremely helpful, attentive to the project and very courteous. Today, I work extremely closely with a dedicated team of three on the jewelry website. Deciding factors in choosing ING was the strength of the recommendation I was given and the care given to my first project with them. When it came time to do the jewelry website, I chose them immediately based on my positive experience with the first leather goods website.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They custom built a website for www.peryton.com using Wordpress. They built the first 2 iterations of the website for www.auvere.com on the Big Commerce platform. They worked with another team to create the 3rd iteration of the Auvere website by performing many of the front end tasks. ING currently maintains both of these websites. With respect to the jewelry company, they function as an in-house IT team for us. We rely on them to perform a significant amount of frontend tasks on a monthly basis. They manage almost all new IT projects relating to Auvere.com and are even involved in other areas beyond the website, including our migration from Mailchimp to Klavyio and managing the production of newsletters on Klavyio.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Currently, on Auvere.com, the ING team consists of 4 people -- a project manager, 2 developers and a designer. I work directly with the project manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
ING has helped us to create and maintain two websites that are beautiful and functional.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I communicate with our ING project manager by email almost daily and speak on a video call every two weeks. He is one of the reasons I am giving ING such great marks. He organizes projects on Trello and JIRA so no request is lost or forgotten. He manages the developers effectively and makes sure that all projects are performed timely. He also effectively managers other vendors we use for various things on the website. Our ING project manager is truly like an in-house team member for us and that is why we keep going back to ING. They go above and beyond being a 'vendor'. They really cared about our projects and worked hard to help us run an effective business.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
No one is perfect and we have had issues from time to time. But what I find impressive is that they don't run away from, or try to deflect, the issues. They own it and work hard to fix it. They wanted to maintain good relationships with clients and kept them. Not every firm is like this. The other thing I find impressive is that they have good people. Not just good at what they do but really good people in terms of character.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
For the Peryton project, no. They met all of my expectations. They performed well because they are truly expert at custom build project from scratch. For Auvere.com, I would like to see them continue to improve their expertise with Big Commerce not only with respect to the front end but the back end. This is an ongoing effort, though and I know that they are working on it.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm Technical Director at a digital agency of close to 300 people. We mostly focus on custom mobile & web development, as well as design.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
Our company is growing rapidly, and we're having a hard time upscaling our internal development teams for new projects we have in our sales pipeline. Ingsoftware came in like a savior to increase our delivery capabilities toward our clients.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them on Clutch, while we were conducting the research of digital agencies on the Serbian IT market. Our deciding factors were the level of satisfaction their customers have, Clutch ratings, and a list of reference projects. It was also really important for us to find a partner, who shares the same work culture as us in the sense that everything is based on performance. Their team understood that it was important for us to be able to trust our partners in terms of both the quality of work and atmosphere, and they matched those needs.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We typically send them an overview of the skill sets that we need for a specific project, and they respond if they have suitable candidates. From there, we do a short interview to see who’s a good fit for our team before signing them on. Key deliverables are usually measured on each sprint, where we are both trying to deliver the features, which were defined on the sprint planning sessions. Up to this point, we were mostly cooperating on the area of Java and Python development, but we're hoping to expand this further in the next couple of months.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We're currently cooperating with 3 developers, all of them are Senior Java devs.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
It’s hard to put direct metrics on their success since they change from project to project. Usually, the most important this for us is that both our clients and our internal development teams are happy. Each quarter, we conduct satisfaction surveys on their work, and they are usually performing at 4.8, out of five. It’s clear that our clients are very satisfied with the work Ingsoftware has done.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We usually do project management from our side and have direct communication with their developers. We're using the standard set of tools here, like Slack and Zoom. Their developers fit well into our own organizations and deliver all requirements without missing a deadline. If a deadline was moved, it was mostly due to the clients’ own restrictions.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
It’s their willingness to learn constantly. We’re an agile company that regularly works with new technologies, or is experimenting with new processes of platforms. They never had any problems with this, even when they had to step out of their comfort zone. When we combine this with their proactiveness on the projects, it all results in a great partnership.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, I’m very happy with the way they perform. They’re always responsive and are never shy about suggesting improvements. It’s an awesome relationship.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Head of Technology & Solutions at Be STF GmbH Austria - a member of Be Group. We enable leading financial services organizations across Europe to manage the complexity of business transformation.
Our company helps customers achieve their ambitious targets by (re)designing business models, aligning them with regulatory and market requirements, and by providing innovative digital solutions.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
Before working with Ingosftware, we already had partially developed our new mobile payment solution. At that time it included a Java-based backend system and an iOS app and we wanted to make sure the system works properly.
We hired Ingsoftware to finalize the development and to make sure all features worked flawlessly. During our cooperation, we expanded the project to include developing an Android application.
How did you select Ingsoftware and what were the deciding factors?
Ingsoftware’s CBO reached out to us just as we were looking for ways to move forward with Horizon’s development. I was impressed with what they presented about their expertise and previous projects, especially with Java.
Everything I heard assured me they were a well-oiled software engineering machine, and working together proved me totally right.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project included the development of the backend system using Java and Spring framework, setting up server-side infrastructure and integration with third-party services, as well as the development of two sets of mobile applications - one for businesses and the other for end-users, to enable conducting payments.
In 2019, Ingsoftware finalized the development of the backend system and the iOS apps, and then in 2020, they worked on Android application development and their integration with the rest of the platform.
Android applications were developed using Kotlin and iOS apps were developed in part using Objective C and in part using Swift.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Five people from Ingsoftware were involved in the project. This included three software engineers, a DevOps specialist, and a project manager who made sure all work was completed according to plan.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Ingsoftware produced a very complex and highly secure system that works perfectly. All the apps work without a glitch, and I would highlight complicated API integration that included additional security measures needed to protect the users.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We used Trello boards to track project tasks and activities, as well as Slack for ongoing communication. The project was split into two-week sprints to enable easier progress tracking.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Ingsoftware’s software engineers are great. They dedicated their time to understanding our business idea and how the solution is structured and provided quality guidance on changes needed to ensure our system works properly.
Finally, they developed all pieces of the solution and met all the requirements set by the project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In hindsight, the only thing that could have been done differently was developing the iOS app from scratch in Swift. At that time we chose to keep soma parts in Objective C and develop additional features in Swift, which in the long run is not the optimal solution.

Please describe your company and your position there.
NuCitrus is a marketing agency with a heavy tech focus. We have been in business for 10 years. Currently at the company, I run operations as COO.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware, and what were your goals?
Our challenge was finding an excellent partner that could deliver custom software solutions for our clients as a partner/Whitelabel agency. We were looking for someone that could take on challenging and complicated projects with ease. Our first test project was proprietary software that involved SEO rankings and website traffic.
How did you select Ingsoftware and what were the deciding factors?
I had spent quite a few weeks interviewing potential candidates, but the deciding factor came down to how they quoted their work and their transparency. I expect people to give me honest answers, not what I want to hear. ING was great with being transparent about timelines and expectations. Communication was easy and it felt like a good fit partnership wise.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We conducted the research to see if the concept of the platform was possible, and then we were able to hand off our research, where ING took the concept and built out the platform perfectly. We have gotten through the project and now are continuing to add functionality to the platform in a project-by-project basis.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with 3-4 different people at different points in the project. For the first part of the project where we reviewed with wireframes, we worked with Nikola (Business Analyst) and Milan(COO). For the development of the MVP platform, we worked with Dusan (software developer)
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
This project was developed specifically for one of our closest partnerships that specialize in Search Engine Optimization.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
ING is was excellent with managing the project, and everything went well, even with some minor hiccups. They were very flexible and compliant with the way we wanted to do somethings on our end. Overall the company conveys a vast wealth of knowledge and act as an expert advisor in their communications throughout the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
What I find most impressive and unique about this company is its willingness to build a partnership with us. We were looking for someone that could essentially be an extension of NuCitrus that we could closely work with. They have become exactly that to us.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I could not have hoped for a better interaction as it went very smoothly. Because of their attentiveness and transparency, we were able to relay and communicate with our client very effectively and efficiently.

We started in small scale working with Ingsoftware by developing our mobile app for iOS and Android. After working together the years to come they also helped us to project lead the development as we did not have any CTO inhouse anymore.
What were your goals for this project?
The last 1,5 years 2018-2020 we developed a complete eco-system with a new desktop application, a new cloud service (Azure) and a new mobile app for iOS and Android (via Xamarin).
How did you select this vendor?
We had three inhouse developers, one front end, one backend and one CTO. They all helped us to choose the right partner. ING filled all fields in what we requested.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The development project is still ongoing, we have released the new desktop application into market together with the mobile application and cloud portal with huge success.
Me as CEO drw the guidelines together with our former CTO and after that ING was in lead via their team of Software Architect, their front and backend developers as well IU designers.
What was the team composition?
At least 5-7 persons have been in the development process. CEO, CBO, Software Architect, Head of Software Development, IU designer, backend developers and front end developers.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We did increase the sales by end of 2019 and beginning of 2020 (Jan/Feb) after release and launching of the new solution.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
All services has been very well handled and well documented. We did very agile development for a long period of time, but with a clear dialogue, good proposals and SoW (Statement of work). During the development processes we used Trello, Skype, Hangouts and phone meetings to move the development process in the direction we wanted.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Feedback was prompt and requests were handled quickly. We have had access to both their management and their developers for support and adjustments. As a vendor they are high quality company with a good affordable level of development costs.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not that we have encountered.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Game designer, project leader and also founder of Webelinx. We develop casual free-to-play mobile games and diverse apps for daily use for Android and iOS. Our goal is to create the best high-quality apps and games for our users.
For what projects/services did your company hire Ingsoftware?
The first project we entrusted Ingsoftware with was web application development for internal administration.
After they had successfully developed our administration system, we realized what they were capable of doing and we tasked them with a big project we were planning on developing for years - a basketball management game.
I have been playing a certain basketball management game for more than 10 years and I always thought that its gameplay and functionalities needed large improvements.
Therefore we started to make plans for the game and we need a reliable and responsible team with great experience in the development of robust systems like this - a team which could materialize my idea.
Ingsoftware wrote the first line of the code for our game in March 2016 and our collaboration is still going strong to this day.
What were your goals for this project?
My first goal was to create MVP of the game - first playable web-based game. At the very beginning of our collaboration, we had been working on a UI/UX responsive design and creating web pages upon it.
The main goal and hardest part of the development process were making an engine that simulates entire basketball matches in prime detail. This engine is the core of the game and it had to work flawlessly so the game could be as life-like as possible.
The developers needed to come up with algorithms for the whole game. When using the interface of the app, users can manage players and tactics which would result in matching them with the best possible result.
Another big part where these algorithms are used is player trading. This turned out to be the most interesting part of the game for the users, so extra effort was put into making the system for real-time processing of player trading and open market system.
A large (invisible) part of the web app is an admin panel. This is an internal part of the game and only admins have access to it. Nonetheless, it is crucial for the game as the admins manage the details and finesse of the game day-to-day.
Admins have the ability to track statistics and monitor e-commerce tools. Other things that admins can manage are game settings, game news creation and cheat detection system. Thanks to the admin panel, the game is managed in the best way possible.
Another option that we wanted them to make is pro user accounts which had privileged access to special features. With pro users we needed in-game payments, so Ingsoftware made payment processing integrations for Google Pay, Paypal, Paymentwall and Fortumo.
One of the most important things in a game like this is developing time zone awareness and multi-language options, as our users are based all over the world and the game now supports more than 20 languages.
In addition to having the game in their language, users have matches scheduled in their local time which allows them to plan accordingly if they intend to watch the game live.
In order to handle substantial growth of user numbers, the game was designed and developed with scalability in mind and is currently using multiple servers so everything can work perfectly without any delays, slow loading or bugs.
All the goals that we set for Ingsoftware have been successfully met, so now we have a product that has a responsive design, the whole game has real-time processing of player trading and the matches are time-zone based with multi-language support.
The game has pro player accounts with premium features and in-game payment for multiple platforms. Back-end scalability was handled very well, so the game now works perfectly.
Platforms, coding languages and custom integrations which are used for our game are:
- Platforms: Web and Android at the moment
- iOS planned Tech Stack: NET, MS-SQL, JavaScript, Unity
- Custom integrations: SignalR for client-server communication (basketball match watching, player market live auctions, event notifications for the mobile app)
- payment processing integrations: Google Pay, Paypal, Paymentwall, Fortumo.
How did you select this vendor?
Having successfully developed and deployed the internal administration project for our company, we realized just how skillful and reliable Ingsoftware is. We acknowledged the high level of experience, resources and knowledge project managers, developers and designers have and decided to confide our MBT project to them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
MBT is a free online multiplayer basketball manager game in which the user takes charge of a virtual basketball club and manages all aspects of the club like: Players, Training, Tactics, Finances, Transfers, Facilities, etc.
In addition to just plain player management, the game includes handling player fatigue, injuries, firing, buying and selling, the game has many other options. Users have the option to train and level up their players and team and then decide if they’ll proceed to match rosters or trade on the transfer market. They can play friendly matches via the invitation system, or by using an automated matchmaking feature.
Every club has its own appearance - they can use their creativity and make custom-designed team emblems and jerseys or buy an existing jersey from the shop which has a wide selection of pre-made jerseys.
The My Basketball Team game has Regional Leagues, Champions League and National basketball competitions. Every user participates in one National competition, but only a small selection of best teams make it to the Champions League.
The most successful 32 teams in each country that didn't make it to Champions League are participating in a similar competition, Regional League in which they compete against teams from their geographical region.
Every user has insights in statistics - they have the option to monitor their and opponents’ match and player statistics, competition success and player transfer history. With these insights players can strategically manage the game and decide how to play and where to invest.
Speaking of finances, MBT has a finance management option where every expense and earning is monitored and contracts can be managed. Buying TV rights can significantly affect the user’s playstyle.
Another thing that will significantly influence the success of the player are facilities. There are various facilities that can be built to help the club grow.
- In Arena users have chance to upgrade the capacity of arena and earn more income from tickets and merchandise
- Youth Academy offers a rookie scouting option once per week so users can recruit a young talented player to join their ranks
- Training Facility gives users the ability to unlock higher level of skill training and upgrade players even more
- Medical Facility provides an opportunity for advanced medical care of players and reduce injury duration
- Rest & Recovery Facility serves a purpose of managing player fatigue
- Entertainment Facility exists for player form management.
Users can share their experience or feedback with the community or participate in various community-driven events via the User Forum. Users can follow all the global or team related news in the News and Notification section.
Ingsoftware developed the Administration panel for internal use. This panel contains various game statistics and e-commerce monitoring tools, game settings, game news creation and cheat detection system.
Admin panel helps us track the game and make sure that everything is in order and the game is cheat free. I am the Project Owner and my team and I were the ones who planted the seed for this project.
We came up with the idea and delivered the design and Ingsoftware’s part in this project was to provide Strategy, Web Design, development and support. We collaborated every step of the way and communicated without any problems. Any bugs or misunderstandings we solved without any fuss and in the fastest way possible.
What was the team composition?
A total of 15 people worked on my project. The team was made of 7 back-end developers, 2 front-end developers, 4 Unity developers and 2 Web designers.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project works great and we have more and more users every day. We create a very active game community, which was our goal for this year.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Our teams worked as one and collaborated on a daily basis without any problems. We find their team responsive and accurate in communication, and their project management is excellent! Tools which we used in collaboration are Trello, Skype and Google Tools (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets).
What did you find most impressive about this company?
It’s amazing how Ingsoftware’s employees combine experience and innovation in development. Their managers are highly professional and responsible. Communicating with them was very easy and they are open for collaboration and new challenges.
No problem was left unsolved by this team. Meeting deadlines is just one of their many qualities and we know that we can rely on this team. We highly recommend Ingsoftware!
Are there any areas for improvement?
Everything worked fine.
Ingsoftware finished the project as expected and within their designated timeline. Their project manager also made sure to keep the client well-informed about their progress without sacrificing the company's vision. In the end, the client said the vendor met all their needs in an exceptional manner.
