Because teams work remotely, developers should make more effort in notifying the team when they come online and before they go offline. There should also be a more detailed report of hours worked and tasks completed in those hours.

What was the business challenge that you were trying to address with Infigic Digital Solutions?

We needed to customize an open-source platform to fit our needs of local, on-demand delivery. We wanted to build an MVP [minimum viable product] to accept customer orders and tailor delivery prices based on distance.

SOLUTION

Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.

We worked with Infigic in phases, the first was to apply UX [user experience] screens to an open source platform and set up the marketplace application, then we created a distance-based fulfillment feature, and then they helped to convert the checkout to a one-page checkout.

How did you come to work with Infigic Digital Solutions?

I posted a job on Elance and evaluated multiple vendors via Skype interview. I selected based on affordability, review, rating, and professionalism.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

It was around $7,500

What is the status of this engagement?

Our last phase was completed in roughly June 2015, but there is ongoing support.
