Lead Generation & Outbound Marketing for SaaS Company
“They’re truly friendly and agile, and they work fast.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for a SaaS company. I’m on the agency team, overseeing the Latin American region.
What challenge were you trying to address with Inbox Attack?
We wanted Inbox Attack to help us in opening new markets.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, we conducted a couple of calls for discovery and exploration of what we needed, what our outcomes should be, and what KPIs we should use.
At present, Inbox Attack crafts lists of target customers for us. They also reach out to those targets, engaging with clients who want to know more about our services. From there, the team passes on the targets to me. Moreover, their resources also create content and manage our outbound marketing campaigns.
What is the team composition?
I work with three people from Inbox Attack.
How did you come to work with Inbox Attack?
We found Inbox Attack via a recommendation.
How much have you invested with them?
Our team has invested around $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in August 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With Inbox Attack’s help, we’ve acquired a few prospects. So far, we’ve achieved around 70%–80% increase in conversion. With this in mind, I’m already considering Inbox Attack for another project.
How did Inbox Attack perform from a project management standpoint?
Inbox Attack’s project management is excellent. They always follow up on every stage of our outbound campaign, and we have constant conversations. To communicate, we typically use emails and video conference calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their ability, knowledge, and dedication to reaching new markets are impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could follow up more once the prospects start coming.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Connect with the Inbox Attack team. They’re truly friendly and agile, and they work fast.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I run a full-scope digital marketing agency that caters to a very specific type of IT company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Inbox Attack?
We were looking to build out our email and LinkedIn outreach program from scratch and had limited experience in either. We needed help creating a successful product offering that we could use to generate leads/sales/revenue for our clients and increase cashflow for our business.
What were your goals for this project?
I reached out with the intention of having Inbox Attack teach us how to incorporate a successful outreach program into our company. Everything from tools and logistics to strategy and execution.
How did you select Inbox Attack?
I had seen Nate Wright's profile on UpWork during my searches and was recommended by a former colleague.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They have taken us by the hand and walked us through every step of establishing an email/LinkedIn program for our clients. They shared their tested and proven tools and showed us the most effective ways to set everything up.
We learned how to structure campaigns and helped us develop specific strategies for each of the offers our clients are running. We've had several calls to optimize our copywriting and others that cover client delivery and account management.
This has been a true ground-up build and they've been able to get us up and running quickly and producing results for our clients in a short period of time.
What was the team composition?
We've worked with 2 core individuals at during our engagement.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have been able to take our clients from zero/little results (very challenging space) to booking calls in the space of a couple months. We have also streamlined and optimized our execution internally which has helped our overall efficiency and productivity.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very. It's a consulting/training engagement so we have a set call structure to go over what we need help on week by week.
Given we had many resources in place this has worked well, but I know they offer turn key services and a mix of done-for-you and training so I would assume they'd be able to help virtually anyone based on their unique needs and challenges.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Industry experience is vast. They've been in the game a long time and have worked with a wide variety of industries on all types of campaigns. Their experience and ability to help in such a niche situation was pleasantly surprising. Very few know our space well.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Nate doesn't take well to fashion advice. A backwards hat would really compliment his look but he has yet to wear one on our calls.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CTO of a start-up called Rebound. We interview experts in the fields from personal growth to positive psychology and get their tips, tools, and techniques for overcoming specific college adversities.
We have a podcast called Rebound Talks, showing the interviews we have with these experts. And we are also developing a subscription based box, where we collaborate with one of our experts to create the best step-by-step guide to overcome a specific adversity.
For what projects/services did your company hire Inbox Attack?
We hired Inbox Attack to create an A-list email outreach campaign. We wanted to learn more about email campaigns, the copywriting necessary to reach these highly influential clients, the necessary technologies to create these campaigns, as well as some reverse engineering to get the contact info from these A list clients.
What were your goals for this project?
Create 5 templates (with variations) for contacting experts and celebrities. One for middle size influencers, one for high sized influencers, one for re-contacting these leads, one for being featured as podcasts guest, and one for reaching out to journalist.
How did you select this vendor?
We were doing a lot of research through Upwork, and we found Nate W. to be one of the best candidates. After we worked with him for one session, we decided to buy 5 more sessions.
Describe the project in detail.
We scheduled a one-hour time slot, where we bring some goals for the meeting. Example: Create 3 templates for reaching out to influencers, psychologists, and celebrities. From there, we would work together to create the templates keeping the same tone and writing style.
What was the team composition?
It was just my partner, Nate, and I. We would all jump in a video call, open the same document, and work together. We didn't find it necessary to include more people in the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
With the email outreach campaign, we got to contact and land some A-list clients like Mark Cuban, Robert Greene, Bethany Hamilton, Jonathan Haidt, Patrick McGinnis, Michelle Poler, Elena Cardone, Dean Radin, and more. We've also gathered a big contact list of highly influential clients.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective workflow. Sometimes we would go over the hour, and Nate would let it slide. We got a lot of work done by working together on the same call.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The most impressive thing about this company was all the techniques they have gathered for reaching highly influential people, also Nate has a skill for writing to different audiences that I haven't seen before. Definitely check them out if you are in need of any email campaigns for getting leads, clients, media coverage, or even partnerships.
Are there any areas for improvement?

I work for an affiliate network, that specializes in lead generation. My position is the Lead internal Media Buyer. I'm responsible for actually generating all of the leads with a multitude of digital platforms such as Facebook, Google, and Email etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire Inbox Attack?
I not only hired inbox attack to help with our copywriting on this project but I also use them for email deliverability consulting. The team at inbox attack has been a guiding light through the tumultuous waters that is email deliverability. They helped us design our current email services platform top to bottom.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Originally found them through Upwork and read some of their sample copy work. After speaking with David and Nate I knew that these guys had wealth of knowledge on not just how to write copy but also how to get your emails into your target's inbox.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
I'm going to just summarize everything that they've done for us. Initially, they helped us decided what smtp platform to use based on our needs. They then instructed us on how to properly warm our Ip address for maximum deliverability. They then wrote all of the copy for our last 6 drip campaigns and instructed us on how to properly deploy said campaigns to maximize our results.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked directly with both Nate and David the owners of the company.

Our new email platform build with the new drip campaigns has had amazing results. We've increased our open rates by 30% and click-through by 10%. We couldn't be any happier with the results.

We worked through google docs and the communication and flow was easy. Everyone on our team was able to comment and make changes and Inbox Attacks was extremely responsive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability not only to write great copy but they are also able to handle the technical aspect of email deliverability. It doesn't matter how well your emails are written if no one reads them.

If there are I haven't run into any yet.

We were looking to explore a new channel for lead generation and we wanted to start a direct outreach campaign, so we found Nate and Inbox Attack as the leaders in the direct outreach space.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
Actually, I found Nate Wright and his company via a guest training he did for Oren Klaff, the author of "Pitch Anything". It was a match made in heaven as Nate mentioned direct outreach to e-commerce store owners which matched our need exactly.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
First, we had a consultation call. Then we had a strategy session with Nate where we created a roadmap for our project. Later David helped with the setup and implementation. We had several consulting calls afterwards talking about the campaign performance.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Directly we talked with Nate and David, senior deliverability experts. Indirectly the Inbox Attack copywriters and assistants, who have helped us with the messaging and copywriting.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We've significantly increased traffic and awareness. The deliverability of the campaign initially was around 46%, but after we implemented all the suggested changes it reached 76%. The open rate also increased from around ~8% to ~19%
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We worked well together. Nate and his team are very responsive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Very personal approach and in-depth hands-on experience of all the staff.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I guess it would have been even more perfect if Inbox Attack offered the setup as a Done for you service vs teaching/consulting, it could have saved some time. But the upside to that is that now we know how to do everything in-house.
