Influencer Marketing Outreach for Faith-Based Org
“We have a very particular audience, and they worked with us to find influencers who were a perfect fit.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the executive director of the Community Protectors Project, a small faith-based organization that brings diverse communities together to do good work in their local neighborhoods.
What challenge were you trying to address with inBeat Agency?
We’d locally piloted a successful community organizing model, and we wanted to reach people outside of our local hub in North Alabama. We were looking for influencers and content creators to help us raise brand awareness, but we couldn’t even get one influencer to respond to us on our own.
What was the scope of their involvement?
inBeat Agency contacted and recruited influencers for us, overseeing the content creation and issuing payments. All we had to do was review the influencers that inBeat Agency recruited to approve or deny them.
What is the team composition?
Katerina (Influencer Marketing Customer Success Manager) was our main point of contact, and she had several support members including David (Managing Partner).
How did you come to work with inBeat Agency?
After learning about influencer agencies from our marketing consulting company, I researched and called between 5–6 influencer agencies. We were very excited to find inBeat Agency, especially because they work with smaller companies. They were able to do the most with our budget, and they were the easiest to work with.
We approached them with our budget, and they set us up for a consultation meeting. We loved their proposal, so they emerged as our top choice and the best fit for our needs.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested a budget of $10,000 with inBeat Agency.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from November 2021–February 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
inBeat Agency did a great job finding more than enough influencers that met our criteria to choose from. We received over 80,000 impressions from the content creators that inBeat Agency found for us — those results were impressive. We’d had limited reach before then, getting no more than a thousand impressions for each of our posts.
We also received over 700 comments on our content thanks to inBeat Agency’s help. We see comments as opportunities to engage and start a conversation, so we were super excited to have that many opportunities for engagement.
How did inBeat Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
inBeat Agency could not have done a better job with their project management. They had a very clear and streamlined process for recruiting and dealing with influencers.
From the very beginning, they wasted no time — we were so pleased with their efficiency and clarity of communication in meetings and across the board. They kept all of our emails in one thread and compiled all of our documents into one central spreadsheet.
I never had to dig through my inbox — it was nice and easy to consult that one email thread or spreadsheet. They were also super patient with me when I had limited ability to respond. I couldn’t leave a more glowing review for the project management aspect of their work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We have a very particular audience, and they were willing to work with us to find influencers who were a perfect fit. inBeat Agency’s willingness to dig in deep and learn about our community really made them special.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Because we serve such a niche community, it took a little longer than we’d hoped to reach those influencers and get all of their content live. That was a challenge because we were bound by a grant timeline — we ended up needing to extend the project by a couple of months.
I’m not sure whether or not inBeat Agency could’ve foreseen that they wouldn’t be able to get all of the content creators working within our timeline, but it would’ve been nice to have a clear, realistic timeline from the beginning. The project extension didn’t end up being a problem, but that’s my one piece of critical feedback. Ultimately, inBeat Agency still finished this project much faster than we could have without them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Bring a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and urgency to your engagement, and inBeat Agency will match that.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Co-founder and CEO of the company
For what projects/services did your company hire inBeat Agency, and what were your goals?
We hired inBeat Agency to help us work directly with both micro and macro influencers to promote our software solution on LinkedIn
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We analyzed their past projects and received a recommendation from an organization we trusted.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
We identified a positioning for the overall strategy. We then identified the ideal influencer that matched our end-user, a decision-maker inside large organizations. InBeat then provided us with a list of relevant influencers that matched our criteria. As the client, we had the option to approve and reject influencers based on different metrics such as engagement rate, reach and platforms. We selected all of the influencers we wanted to work with. From there on out, we built a creative brief with InBeat to guide the influencers into creating content that would adequately portray our brand.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had a creative director, an account manager and a campaign manager assigned to our account.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We created amazing content that we could repurpose everywhere in our marketing material. We drove demand-generation through individuals that had a high degree of trust.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was fluid across the board. The selection process was easy and their team was very responsive.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to build a roster of influencers that we actually liked.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not particularly. We would have liked real-time reporting, but we understand that the limitations are relative to the different platforms.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the co-founder of Phoneloops.com an e-commerce brand that sells revolutionary and proprietary mobile accessories.
For what projects/services did your company hire inBeat Agency?
Influencer marketing is an evolving marketing strategy in the industry. We needed some assistance in finding, attracting and engaging with influencers to create relevant campaigns.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
InBeat helped us find new influencers and built relevant campaign, while also making the process easier between all parties involved! We felt that inBeat's team was open to our suggestions and understood the specifications of our niche. With their help, we created scalable micro-influencer marketing campaigns.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After kick-off meeting, inBeat started to draft a strategy and plan. We talked about different types of influencers and we found out that micro-influencers were the best fit for our campaigns, as they are very focused on their own community and don't see it as a job, but as passion.
Moreover, inBeat advised us on what type of influencer to focus on and the expected return on investment. Because micro-influencers have a very devoted and loyal following, we could expect a much higher return on investment compared to other types of influencer. inBeat took care of the communication and cleaning of the influencer list, which was very time-consuming for us.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with account manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
inBeat helped us create a scalable micro-influencer campaign with 1,000+ micro-influencers. We performed product seeding and paid collaborations
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We performed weekly meetings to track the progress of the campaign. We talked about what worked, what didn't work and developed new ideas on how to improve it. Our collaboration with inBeat is amazing. They are very professional, very efficient, and reactive when you need them.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team is available when you need them and their communication is great. They are open to feedback and they take your thoughts into consideration when working on the campaign.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No. inBeat fulfilled our expectations.
