We being technically unsound, team Immence did a detailed analysis of our operations and then come up with a suggestion with the best web presence in the form of a website and software that would make our life easy. Having multiple branches at different locations, it was very difficult and time-consuming for us to manage everything. So they helped us in developing software where all the data of our patients can be stored and patients are able to easily get personal support. Now we are able to automate reminders to our patients that earlier man forces used to manage. Developing custom software for us that has made our operations easier than ever before. We were thankful to Immence for making all the effort in transforming our business operations at affordable rates.

This was a crucial project for us since we could provide and deliver the solution to our people, were happy with the results, and validated our technology. Additionally, they were able to combine our technology with others, which was essential for the success of the engagement.

Everything was completed by their team on schedule and on budget. We experienced some issues earlier with our internal team towards the immence team in terms of communication, but they are convenient and at the end, we were able to work through those issues and resolved. They have allocated more resources in order to finish the project earlier because our launch period is short and approaching. Jira was utilized for project management, and Microsoft Teams was used for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Immence not only cares about their development work but more than that what I've found is they actually cared for our business in each and every sense which has impressed me a lot.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

During our project time, we learned a lot from each other, so I don’t think there is any area of improvement in team Immence for now. They're covering all the checkboxes day by day.

Although it sounds absurd, there were occasions when immence gave the impression that they cared more about the project than we did. Their input far exceeded traditional software development discussions, so picking them as our partners turned out to be a no-brainer really.

They have used the latest trending technologies like Flutter, React, and Node.js for development.

They did a great job of understanding our needs, providing the right advice, and guiding us in the right direction. They assisted in transforming our software from a clumsy, unstable tool into one that we use every day. Without it, we couldn't accomplish what we do. After launching 2nd version of the application, we are getting lots of appreciation from customers for easy workflow.

Sprints from Scrum were used to organize the project. Immence's CEO and project manager made sure the team was focusing on the proper priorities from a business standpoint. We utilized Microsoft Teams for communication and Jira for task management, which was really practical. Every two weeks, we had a planning session where we spoke about what needed to be delivered next to accomplish the company's objectives. We reviewed every two weeks during which immence presented the outcomes of a sprint and the development of the product goal.

The team was prepared to make changes and adjustments when necessary, and the entire process was adaptable. The sprints were short so no time was wasted and together we were able to quickly spot when something was going in the wrong direction. Amit was immediately ready to adjust the tasks allocation and Backlog.

immence can build up a high level of trust, and they continue to earn it. The quality of their work is based on our internal stakeholders, and it’s good. In the end, it all comes down to trust, the way we work together, and the quality and speed of work — all of which have earned our trust over time.

I had the chance to test Immence's skills by having them make an existing code base work properly, which they have done in quickly manner. Immence took our loose code and architecture and turned it into a solid infrastructure. immence is very good at determining the scope of any project (we have done over 7 micro projects). They have completed every project on time or within the estimated time frame. Immence always gave me advance notification if we made changes to a project that had the potential for creep.

Other times, immence would give us ideas or solutions that would give us a technological advantage, increase our efficiency, or help us manage our time better.

We used Jira to correctly manage many projects/modules, and we normally scope our sprints with the Project Manager and analysts, then work directly with Developers to execute the sprints.

I like the top down management and access to all members on the team. Collaboration with Amit and immence team. I liked their ability to ramp up quickly if we have a deadline or need additional resources.

The last version of our version was pretty outdated, slow and very hard to navigate through. As our web application is used by over 9,000+ students and faculty, our 2 main goals were the website to be easy to navigate and to not lag to give everyone an optimum experience.

Another big challenge was our faculty does not have any technical background so if in future there are any changes in the facility or the services we provide we didn't want to deal with any backend code, so a user friendly front end to customise accessibility would have been a plus.

Our project was delivered in prototype phasing where our faculty was provided with 3 prototypes before launching the final application. So, that more and more functionalities can be added throughout every step of prototyping. I application made using .Net Core and .Net framework and our front end uses react to give best experience.

With the new website, student find it very easy to navigate through the website and it a very good overall experience. Even for our faculty it has become very easy to handle the bookings and check the use of the facilities we provide.

We had conversation with them 2 times every week to check on the updated and we were delivered with new prototype every third week for our testing of the newly added functionalities. The best part was the team consistently delivered beyond our expectations with the suggestions on what additions we can make to our web application to improve it's functionality and make life easier for us.

Immence developed our mobile app. First, they came to my office, we discussed the project, and they provided the best solution.

This app allows us to track the record of every employee in our company. On my phone, I can easily check which employees have been present and which haven’t. Additionally, I can see what particular day they have absence permission.

The app that Immence has built for us works seamlessly — I’m impressed with their work. 2000+ employees are now using it, and they’re all very satisfied with it. Before having this app, a single person had to manage the entry of every employee. Now, the employees themselves can register and see their check-ins and check-outs on their mobile phones. Additionally, this product has allowed us to keep a perfect record of their time.

Immence’s project manager explains everything to me very well, and he always comes up with better ideas than mine due to their technical expertise. Additionally, they’re very available, and they support us very well, easily explaining the app to my employees. We communicate via WhatsApp and Zoom.

We set weekly targets, they provide us an EPK, run it, and then give them feedback on our spreadsheet. We also like that they're always available for meetings, distinguishing them from other providers. In addition to that, they stick to the timelines and budgets that we set.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication is pretty good, and they take the feedback positively — they tell us up front if something is possible or not, and there’s no ambiguity about the prices they're charging us. They presented us with an estimate that we discussed, and they'd adjust the cost to a mutually amicable position.

Overall, they're a trustworthy partner, and Amit has the right attitude, which is the most important thing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been some delays here and there, but I've seen the output consistently. It’ll be great to improve on that, but they don't control the labor turnover.

Be honest and transparent with them. If you’re upfront with letting them know their expectations, these guys will work well. Also, let them know when the price, delivery, and quality of work are not right, and they will correct that.

We've improved our turnaround and have reduced it by three times through the software they've created. To be specific, our turnaround used to be around 25–27 minutes, and we've been able to make it nine minutes.

Their performance has been great, and they've never disappointed us in any way. They've always provided us with whatever we wanted. They also have a pretty good project management process. If we have to rate them, we'll give them a 9.5 out of 10 rating. We communicate through Slack and Google Meet.

The Immence team is the best in the market. They have smooth communication skills and impressive business capabilities.

When it comes to software development, they're pretty good. I don't think that there's anything they should have done better.
