Rebranding, nomenclature and positioning for Primex
Brand Primex was established to design and deliver mobile phone accessories and spare parts of premium quality that will stand apart from the market of cheap fixes and uncertainties. The brandmark is a P doubling up as a flag representing victory (market dominance).
Play symbology is an integral part of the rebrand connecting the audience to playfulness and action.
As we undertook the major overhaul and positioned the brand 'above ordinary" the tagline very aptly resonated with the brand's values and reaffirmed its philosophy.
With the new identity, we helped the brand move ahead, bolder, and more professional.
With the new branding system and a promise of being "Above Ordinary" Primex constantly strives to challenge the status quo and design products that are of the highest quality standards and slick on user experience.

I’m the business development manager of a real estate developer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Identity Brandcom?
We outsource our digital marketing to Identity Brandcom.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We collaborate with Identity Brandcom for our marketing and design needs. Some examples of what they have helped us with include logo creation, social media marketing, brochures, artwork, branding, and other services.
They take care of our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. They’ve also done content writing with creative graphics and design. Basically, we give them a concept, and they try to extend that concept. They elaborate and implement it for us.
Whenever we launch a project or do some exercises, we make sure that we involve them. Whatever positive things that they propose to us, we take into consideration.
What is the team composition?
We have a main point of contact who gets the team into the loop and executes what we need.
How did you come to work with Identity Brandcom?
We found Identity Brandcom through a reference. After doing our due diligence, we decided to give them this assignment.
How much have you invested in them?
We have invested somewhere around $50,000-$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them originally in 2015, and then we came back to work with them in September 2017. We are still working with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t have any feedback to show, but I can say that their input is very valuable to us. They’re very professional, which always adds a positive note to whatever they do, from communication to creativity and the mindset that they want to cater to. My experience with them has been very positive.
How did Identity Brandcom perform from a project management standpoint?
The communication with Identity Brandcom has been exceptional. We mostly communicate on WhatsApp and email. From the project management standpoint, we always want deadlines to be met. To be clear, they do meet deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their dedication, client servicing, as well as their creativity are the highlights of the collaboration — those are their strengths.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It all depends on them and how many clients they want to take on board, but they can extend their team to increase their reach.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Identity Brandcom’s team is very prompt, and they understand what the client wants. Their team is dedicated to their work, so positive results will come automatically.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner, founder, and director of a food distribution company. We work with brands like large, international brands.
What challenge were you trying to address with Identity Brandcom?
They worked on our design and marketing needs.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They designed our logo, marketing materials, branding, and more. Identity Brandcom had a very effective style of working. They began with research and then explained why their designs would benefit us.
I worked with them for a long time, and they delivered whatever type of material I needed, whether it was a pamphlet, brochure, or other digital marketing material. They delivered very quickly. Sometimes they had other work, but they always managed to deliver for me.
We developed three brands in total throughout our relationship.
What is the team composition?
There were 2–3 people involved. I’m in touch with their main founder and communicate with him. He then relays exactly what I want to his team.
How did you come to work with Identity Brandcom?
They were recommended to me by a friend, and I’m sure that I now give Identity Brandcom more work than he does. It’s been a good journey so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from January 2017–August 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They had the necessary knowledge about design and digital and offline marketing, which resulted in a brand that we really liked. Everything from the design, the name, and its overall simplicity was excellent. I’m really proud of the three brands that I worked with them on.
How did Identity Brandcom perform from a project management standpoint?
From a management standpoint, I would rate them at a 7–8 out of 10 as a team. From a design or creative standpoint, they’d receive a 9–10 out of 10.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate the personal relationship that Brandcom formed with us. They understood my point of view and my vision about our products and company, so all the work turned out better.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Maybe they could get in touch with more and more clients. They are very particular about who they take on, however.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go for it. Brandcom has a good team, and the main resource is very creative, though you do have to be patient with him. Once he grasps your vision, he’ll translate it into results.

We give them clients and they also give us clients. We have a great collaboration. They produce high-quality results and provide a high level of support. We’re satisfied with their services because it matched our expectations.

We communicated mainly via phone calls and WhatsApp. I was in direct touch with the founder. It was much easier to communicate that way. I didn’t have time to through a lot of other people as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One thing that I absolutely love about them is their creative thinking. Being an Indian company, they think not only internationally but globally. That’s something that’s absolutely important.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m really satisfied with them, although they could have shorter timelines.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Even if the client isn’t satisfied, they go back and make sure that they deliver something better than what it was. We went through two versions. The first version was good but we had them try another and we loved it.

I'm the founder of a company that handles video shoots and graphic design for bands. Our on-site work has been halted because of COVID-19, so we’ve mainly been doing postproduction in the last six months. We’ll be resuming shoots soon, however.
What challenge were you trying to address with Identity Brandcom?
We needed help with brand and logo design work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Identity Brandcom has provided graphic and web design work for us. We’ve worked with them on a few projects that involved illustration, graphic design, and character animation.
What is the team composition?
Akhtar (Creative Director) is our only point of contact. I’m not sure how big the team is because he coordinates everything.
How did you come to work with Identity Brandcom?
A friend referred me to them while I was working for my former company.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around one million Indian rupees (approximately $13,600 USD) with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Identity in October 2019, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We could hire people internally, but Identity Brandcom has the expertise we need without the additional hassle of onboarding new internal teammates. We’ve done a lot of projects with them, and we’re satisfied with the work.
How did Identity Brandcom perform from a project management standpoint?
We track the work through spreadsheets and emails. Our teams also communicate through WhatsApp. I have a good relationship with Akhtar, so I can call him directly about concerns or new tasks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their turnaround time is very fast. We’ve had projects that needed to be delivered in 24 or 12 hours, and Identity Brandcom was always there to help us out. I’ve referred them to a lot of my friends.

They could start doing animation work as well.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
As this was a community driven organization they studied the community in depth and came to us with insights that we even were surprised about. We really liked the passion and depth they gave to our simple identity making it very relatable and truly international.
Apart from the logo they came up with a lot of creative ideas for communications and ads that helped us have a strong foot since the beginning and create good buzz in the community.

Around 3-5.

Our brand is well received in its simplest form. Our users easily trust us given the high quality design that we were able to get from Identity brandcom.
