For what projects/services did your company hire Idealogic?

We are developing an app based solution to help drivers to purchase and manage their documentary insurance requirements. We sought the help of Idealogic to help us create and make the system user friendly, and connect with a number of data sources.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of the project was to translate our vision of the app into a fully functional and deliverable product. The team was given the task of creating an iOS and Android application.

How did you select Idealogic?

We conducted an online search for global developers, and came across Idealogic. After contacting a few of the featured companies, we had a series of interviews and provided some information on our project. We asked the potential candidates to submit user stories so that we could get an idea of their approach. Idealogic was the most impressive, and they offered a reasonable price.

Describe the project in detail.

The project started with a series of meeting in which we would go over the vision and the customer base we were trying to attract. It was then followed by a phase in which mock-ups would be created and reviewed by the team. at the end of this phase we moved on towards a development phase which would take the largest chunk of time and ended with the final product. During all the phases the line of contact between my team and Idealogic was smooth.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

During testing any bugs that were discovered Idealogic addresses the issue immediately and new patch were released within days. We've requested a few minor changes to address usability issue and these were worked on very quickly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow has been excellent throughout, the team is always there to hear what we have to say, regardless of the time or day. Even with the team coming from a different country than my own the was never a language barrier nor a communication issue.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The time and costs which were scheduled were always maintained. The panned meetings started always on time. Any questions I had were always answered very quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The biggest challenge in a project like this is knowing exactly what you want, but if you can find a way to communicate the details to their team, they'll be able to deliver it No. They've been a step ahead of us throughout the process, and we're very pleased with their work overall.

I am a member of the UBeat team and working on the UI/UX design and user feedback. My role was to ensure that the app we have developed is user-friendly, accessible and satisfies business requirements

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to ensure that the final result will have the optimal combination of a user-friendly interface and pace working software

How did you select this vendor?

Ubeat investor has found IdeaLogic through Internet search. They were selected after a couple of calls because of their previous works, attitude and work approach that make the whole team credible about their skills.

Describe the project in detail.

Ubeat is an open music platform that connects creators and listeners. It's a native app. The app allows to upload, share and listen to an audio as well as save favorite tracks and create playlists. Also users get personalized recommendation lists based on their listening habits. App functionality: 1) Easy and instant upload of the tracks and albums to the platform. 2) Users can share their audio with friends publicly or privately. 3) Massive and constantly expanding library of songs, albums, and lists. 4) Users can save tracks and listen to them both online and offline. Idealogic executed the app from scratch. I have participated as UX consultant.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

As a result of our cooperation with Idealogic, we got a stable, redundant and juicy designed app that met all the initial goals. We got wonderful feedback from investors and users that give us confidence that the launch will be done properly.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Communication was held in skype, scheduled calls were never cancelled even if they happened in late night hours for the Idealogic team. There was no language barrier.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their clear and well-documented development process made the whole process transparent for every party. There were no misunderstandings or schedule issues

Are there any areas for improvement?

Project could be cheaper but it was pretty reasonable

I’m one of the founders of a digital innovation studio based in Spain. We deliver creative products and services to our customers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealogic?

We needed to develop an API for one of our customers, so we needed to find a company that could support our development processes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The goal was to create an API that would act as a middleware for an image processing service that is deployed in the Google Cloud. We needed to provide our users with a very simple and reliable experience where they can register, authenticate, and process multiple images using a complex proprietary algorithm and download the resulting file.

What is the team composition?

We had a different number depending on the stage of development, but it was always at least one project manager and one developer.

How did you come to work with Idealogic?

I had seen their work before we started working with them, and then when we were looking for freelancers to help us out, their name came upon one of the online platforms. We reached out to them and looked through some of their previous projects before we decided to hire them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve probably spent about $15,000 at this point.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started in July 2019 and are continuing to work together.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started with the proof of concept, and they were very flexible in doing that, helping us to test our ideas. From there, they incorporated our feedback and developed an MVP that has functioned very well in everything we’ve used it for to this point.

How did Idealogic perform from a project management standpoint?

We are using a group in Telegram to communicate daily, and that has worked very well for us. Despite the time difference between our companies, the tools we have used like that and Trello have been able to make communicating very easy. They’re very flexible and understand what we’re trying to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They are just very reliable partners. Their team is always communicative and ready to change their approach or adapt to a different set of needs. We are able to continue our close working relationship because I know I can trust them with whatever I need.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s really nothing I think they should change. We can all always improve, but there’s nothing they’re doing wrong or overlooking at the moment.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I think if you focus on being communicative, you can develop a much better long-term relationship, which will set you up for success with any developer.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder of a Ukrainian company that’s developing a global fintech platform. Fincloud combines traditional banking with the transparency of the blockchain, all in a mobile communication channel.

What challenge were you trying to address with Idealogic?

We needed development expertise and resources.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Idealogic has a process manager and IT team in place. In our case, they’re more a project manager than a developer. They hired different teams to develop our platform. During the beginning stage, they prepared a first-stage design MVP. We’ll receive a website and application during phase two. The current work is a roadmap for how we’ll build the platform.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Andrii (Head of Business Development, Idealogic) and Alexander (CEO, Idealogic).

How did you come to work with Idealogic?

We found Idealogic through friends. Our business and Idealogic share a large coworking space in Kiev. It was easy to find each other in the startup and IT business center.

How much have you invested with them?

The first stage of the project will cost between $18,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We received the proposition from Idealogic in April 2019, and the first version of the MVP will be finished in two months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t had any issues with them, and I’ve even recommended Idealogic to a shareholder at a large local bank. He will be working with them to prepare a website and application for branding purposes. Idealogic is eager to collaborate and are in in-depth discussions with them.

There’s no feedback on the work yet, but I’m happy with our collaboration. After the MVP is completed, we will then consider whether to continue with Idealogic or move on to another company.

How did Idealogic perform from a project management standpoint?

Idealogic is timely, responding quickly to our requests. As the former CTO of a Ukrainian bank, their CEO is knowledgeable about finance and banking. His managers understood all the tasks we’ve given them. Since our offices are close to each other, we communicate in-person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Compared to other companies, their pricing is reasonable. They maintain lean teams, which can give them more flexibility in terms of pricing. Their business model allows Idealogic to offer the same quality at lower costs.

No, there are none that I can think of.
