I am a manager for a Taipei venue. We cater to Taiwanese and expat patrons.

Our old website was dated, so we needed a new one built from scratch. We wanted to update our site frequently with our latest events. To help us do this, we needed the new website to be easily manageable by our non-technical staff.

We looked for web designers in our area. iamrobert came highly recommended, and their quote fit our budget.

After a discovery meeting to discuss our goals, the client delivered a sitemap and wireframe. They worked further on the design, and we went through 3 rounds of revision. After being satisfied with the design, the client coded out the homepage to show us how it would work on mobile. The vendor then built out the rest of the site in the CMS and provided training for our staff.

We worked with 2 people, including the project leader and account executive.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

From a creative perspective, we were delighted with their work. iamrobert nailed the site's look to match our brand. We loved the new design and style they helped us achieve. For SEO, we've ranked for major sporting events that have helped bring punters into our venue. We can also manage the site without needing technical assistance.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Overall, iamrobert was flexible. We used project management software which helped us keep track of progress, and we could assign tasks if required. We worked through phone and email as well.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have understood our design and have built a site we could feel proud of. We appreciated their knowledge and recommendations. Their goal was to improve our business rather than just launch a site.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, I have nothing wrong to say about iamrobert — it was a great experience across the project.

I'm the owner of Brisbane Roofs, which specializes in guttering and metal roofing within Brisbane and near surrounds, Queensland, Australia.

I had an old website and wanted to redesign it, along with fresh-looking business cards, logo, etc. for promotional materials. I wanted the layout of all these things to be crisp and clear, and I wanted the website to be easy to follow. Most people only buy one roof in a lifetime and so it is not a subject people are usually familiar with.

How did you select iamrobert digital design and what were the deciding factors?

A friend recommended iamrobert digital design, and so even though I could not sit down in the same room as Robert because we are in different countries, I found he was approachable. He obviously did his homework because he seemed to know more about the roofing industry than I expected of an office worker in our first video chat.

Before we had our first video chat, I was asked to provide the iamrobert team with information about my business, budget, and what I wanted or expected out of the collaboration. Within a week, I had received his proposal with 3 - 4 designs to choose from and then we started talking.

The first stage involved developing the logo, business cards, invoices, and other documents that all had a similar look - nice colors and clarity. Once we had that sorted, the website was next and Robert talked to me about the layout - the natural way people look for information - and the types of services Brisbane Roofs provides.

He gave me a plan and some pages using the same colors and clarity. I am told the site is based on CMS - I don't know exactly what that means, but with a little bit of training from the iamrobert team, we update the website with minimum fuss whenever we want to.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Two - Robert, who is the driver of all the creativity and there was another person, who helped us with the business side of things such as payments, organizing meeting times, etc. I found them easy to talk to and the whole thing went smoothly.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I had previously been using newspapers and internet advertising companies to promote the business, which was expensive and becoming less effective. By using iamrobert's strategies, customers continue to ring or email us for quotes without virtually any of that - I now run an ad in a newspaper about once a year.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

I was a tradie for a long time before computers began being widely used and I don't know a lot about the workings of the internet, so I thought I might feel a bit stupid talking to someone who knows it inside out. Instead, I found Robert talked across to me instead of down, and he used ordinary examples to explain the marketing concepts. He was professional and approachable.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What he told me about selling products and services via the internet was not what I was used to - I had been trained to make advertising short and to the point, but I have found Robert's way of letting people know about my services and giving them confidence in what our team does makes sense and it definitely works.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. I found the iamrobert team easy to work with, and willing to take the time to explain what you need to do. If you do it, I can't see why it won't work for you.

I am the director of ButeykoWorks, a company that teaches breathing techniques to help people who have asthma.

We hired iamrobert to rebrand our company and to redesign our website. We wanted a brand we could be proud of, and give our clients a better digital experience when buying online.

How did you select iamrobert digital design and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted to launch our company in a new (different) country, and expand our digital marketing. iamrobert digital design had built a previous website for us and two colleagues, so it was a no-brainer to back to him when we wanted a new site. The team were willing to listen to what we wanted to achieve and they had innovative ideas to deal with the web's competitive side.

To find out what we wanted, the iamrobert team discussed with us the type of business we were running, our goals and our budget. A few days later, we received a proposal to help us understand the concept.

• Stage 1 was our new brand identity, including logo, business cards and marketing collateral.
• Stage 2 was our website. During the discovery phase, we agreed upon a sitemap and a wireframe. From there, we approved home and product page design mockups.

The CMS site enables us to enter and update our content easily. The team was professional from start to finish, with great attention to detail. I would recommend them to others.

We worked with the creative director, Robert, and also another person who took care of the programming.

We had aggressive sales targets to meet due to our relocation. We managed to surpass it with our investment in a new identity and website development.

Communication is one of my favourite things about working with iamrobert. We found their project management style to be relaxed and professional. I found it easy to discuss things I felt were important to our brand. Also, I found Robert provided information about the internet in a logical and easy to understand way.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Once Robert had talked to us about the project and had given us a quote, we spoke to another company to get a comparison. Instead of understanding what we wanted, the person tried to tell us what we should do.

This person was clearly just a salesperson, rather than someone who understood the internet because she seemed out of her depth and got annoyed when asked questions about internet marketing/advertising concepts, which Robert had previously explained.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No, I think the iamrobert team is professional and knowledgeable, so I cannot thing of anything that needed changing.
