Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a consulting business.
What challenge were you trying to address with Hyperthought Software?
I hired Hyperthought Software to redesign and redevelop my website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Hyperthought Software redesigned and redeveloped my WordPress website. Their team and I had a long conversation about my logo and colors. I wanted the website to be edgy and vibrant, but professional at the same time. They added components to make it have personality and the professional look that it didn’t have before. They balanced these aspects very well.
What is the team composition?
I interacted with two people: one of the founders and a technical person.
How did you come to work with Hyperthought Software?
I met one of the founders in a common agile forum. I showed him my website, and he offered to update it. Also, the packages they offered weren’t too costly. After a long time of having discussions with them, I had the confidence to go ahead and work with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent less than $10,000 overall.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2021, and it took us two weeks to complete the website. If there were delays, it was mostly on my end — they were very proactive.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website turned out much better than I had expected. Also, traffic coming to the website and blogs increased.
Based on how their team treated me, I’d definitely recommend them. I’m the type of person that needs constant involvement, so if someone does the work and doesn’t involve me, I get bored. However, their way of working fitted very well with my temperament.
How did Hyperthought Software perform from a project management standpoint?
I didn’t want it to be too complicated, so we had a fixed time for our calls so that no one’s schedule was disturbed. I directly communicated with the team using a WhatsApp group. We also used Jira, Trello, and email. Using another tool for this project would’ve been a waste of effort.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It wasn’t a specific thing that they had to do for me, but they understood all of my requirements. I like to resolve things quickly, but some people might want more structure. I knew what I wanted, and they delivered perfectly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. They change their methodology based on the type of customer.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Push yourself, be articulate about what you want, and they will deliver it.
The website met all of the client’s requirements and expectations. Hyperthought Software integrated seamlessly, and their excellent work increased the traffic coming to the website. Throughout the process, the team kept constant communication, which made the engagement productive and efficient.
