I am the Owner of a startup tech company. We will allow businesses in various industries to digitally upload documents for physical print and delivery through our user interface and API.
For what projects/services did your company hire Huboxt, and what were your goals?
We had a vision and a rough outline of a custom document upload application and UI design. Our goal was to partner with the right firm that could execute on that vision, but more importantly, have the ability to fully understand what we wanted and why it was important so they could use their skills and expertise to ensure it was built using the right technology stack, accounted for all needed functionality considerations, etc.

We interviewed several firms throughout our evaluation process. Our major challenges throughout the process seemed to be that either the companies had a representative that spoke for the software engineers and developers as opposed to us having direct access to them or they didn’t seem to fully grasp our vision. With Huboxt, we found the perfect balance. In just a few short calls, they understood what we were trying to do, and equally as important, we were able to speak directly to the experts themselves who told us exactly how they would execute on our vision.

We are currently 5 months into an 8 month project. We have approximatley 20 key milestones for the entire project and are well ahead of schedule. The work involves a full application and UI/UX buildout, including mulitple integrations with third party applications. The technology stack used is:

Huboxt setup 2-4 week sprints that yielded several deliverables on each sprint. We could then see what was developed during that timeframe, provide feedback and perfect it.

Everything has been diligently managed through a number of channels. We used slack for our daily interactions, bi-weekly (and sometimes weekly) calls to go over deliverables and collaborative dialog, and meeting minutes following each call assigning tasks prior to our next call.

Data Management System for oilfield equipment
GOES GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of pumping and stimulation equipment for the oil and gas industry. They offer hydraulic fracturing, drilling, acidizing, sand control and other well stimulation and pumping equipment and software.
Challenge: GOES GmbH invited us to build one of their most crucial (and complicated) digital infrastructures - an extension for a local Data Acquisition Software DMS. GOES GmbH wanted to visualize recorded job data and other parameters in various forms online (chart, table, etc.), in real time using a standard internet browser.
Result: Our successful cooperation resulted in cloud web application with data streaming API and windows based application for exporting data from legacy app to API. It helps users to:
- Manage users within the companies (create, activate/deactivate user, set preferences)
- Manage user’s access to application by generating unique password and monitoring active sessions

Until recently, we worked in the local market, but now there is an urgent need to expand our positioning. The Huboxt helped us not only with the site but also with the formation of the brand and positioning.

We used the recommendations of old colleagues. It was easy to communicate with Huboxt, the guys are proactive and their plan correlated with our ideas a lot.

We had a kick-off meeting where we discussed our vision and high-level goals. After guys at Huboxt proposed a few versions of initial UI, mostly related to styles, fonts, base structure, brand itself.
Then, after approval at our end, agreed first milestone and deadlines, they started implementing initial page and at the same time working at content, analyze competitors and discussing progress with us in iterative manner After implementing and deploying first stage, we provided feedback and improvements which Huboxt took into account and started the second final stage.
During that stage, there was few nice UI ideas proposed by Huboxt team, which we liked and approved In the end, we got a nice landing page, UI kit and brand book

We hired Huboxt with a goal to create a data and marketing platform to automate our lead processing business which was previously all done manually. There were multiple components to the marketing platform which Huboxt delivered on.

Huboxt conceptualized, designed, developed and launched our marketing platform all from scratch.
What is the team composition?
The team consisted of a few developers and other supporting roles. From the client’s point of view, there was only one point of contact.
How did you come to work with the vendor?
We found Huboxt on Clutch. After reading their reviews, talking to the owner, and getting an idea of how they operate, they were clearly the first choice. Bogdan was very knowledgeable about the technology and after the first design we knew we wanted to work together.

This project came in a few different phases. Huboxt was able take our idea and turn it into a design. From there, we established three major parts of the projects to be developed. They were able to complete one after the other and deploy in into production.

Huboxt developed a VPN app for Android and iOS, based on our idea. They made the UI/UX of the app and started development after that.

Bogdan (Founder) has always been my main contact. I believe that he had a team working on the app in the background.

We found them on Upwork and gave them a quick job, after which we decided to engage them directly, outside of the platform.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Huboxt in late-September 2020. We’ve just finished phase two of the project, and we’re thinking of engaging Huboxt for the next iteration. The Android app is live, and the iOS version is still under review.

They’re responsive, and they always give feedback and deliver on time. If there’s a delay on a deliverable, they’ll inform us on time.
How did Huboxt perform from a project management standpoint?
We have communication over email and a WhatsApp group. We can always communicate with them in real-time. We also use Google Meet, where we can share screens and exchange ideas.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They take ownership of tasks and provide end-to-end development. Huboxt took care of every single aspect of the mobile app, from UI/UX design to development.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think so. There were no situations where they should’ve behaved differently, but it remains to be seen for the upcoming iterations. The complexity of the project will increase. We’ll be adding more features and settings to the app.

I’m a product manager at GreenFood LLC, a tea company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Huboxt?
We’ve been trying to reach markets in Europe and Asia. We needed someone to build an informational website for us. We had tried a different company and we were disappointed because time was passing and we weren’t receiving anything we wanted.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed our informational website. We have the website on our local servers. Since we don’t have all the products we want to deliver, we didn’t launch yet. We’re in the process.

We’re always in contact with Bogdan (Lead Developer/Product Manager) and the designer. They also have 3-4 other developers.

We found them at a local exhibition where there were a lot of companies. We found a few and the others weren’t as great as we expected. We made a request for Huboxt and they did a small project and we were satisfied.
We shared what our company was about and what we wanted to achieve and we showed what kind of products we can share with people so they could understand what we want. They were okay with that and understood what we wanted.

We told them what we wanted and they delivered what we wanted. So far, it looks like how we wanted it. We had some interesting designs with the packet of tea launching in the cup and it looks very nice. All the information and products look great. They did well for us.

They are very attentive. We had some meetings because they’re located in Ukraine. We had a meeting with their owner and their designer. They always delivered what we asked and delivered it on time. They made all the changes we wanted to make. They were very cooperative. We use Skype and a tracking system where they show their boards during the meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They deliver on time perfectly. They’re really attentive to what we were asking for. They were always available when we needed them. They give us a lot of information and help us a lot. They make things look very easy so we can understand how it works. When we go to launch the site, they will help us because we have an agreement about that. This will be a great step for our company. I believe this website will bring us to the next level.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Everything was okay. I give them 5/5. They were great in communication and timing. Their design was also nice. They gave us a nice price.
