Notable features include the ability to view transaction history, set spending limits, and support for parent-child accounts. The project was developed using a variety of technologies, including Kotlin, Swift, Java, Terraform, and AWS.

• The mobile application received a rating of 4.5 stars on the App Store. It was released for early access within a timeframe of around six months, which was considered a relatively quick turnaround. The product was developed with complete test automation, automated infrastructure, and unit testing, resulting in a low error rate.

Before starting each project, we discuss the obstacles and scope, followed by the requirements. Rather than providing documentation, we concentrate on discussing refining the features. Then, we begin implementing the project in a step-by-step milestone approach. Furthermore, Hivex provides maintenance services.

We've been working with Hivex since 2020, which is a testament to their ability to meet or exceed our expectations. Although we've faced some bugs and setbacks along the way, the Hivex team has shown remarkable resilience.

Despite being based in Ukraine and facing challenges during the war with Russia, they have remained communicative and proactive. They have a contingency plan in place, and we haven't experienced any disruptions in service. Their dedication to the project is impressive, given that they've even worked through bombing raids.

Hivex has effective project management practices. Their project manager is proactive and takes initiative, so I don't have to remind them about tasks often. They also provided valuable input to create the next version of our project management, which is impressive considering our dynamic startup environment.

Our collaboration tools include Jira, Confluence, Slack, daily stand-up meetings, weekly planning meetings, and code reviews. The entire team is involved in reviewing and comprehending the code.

Soon after, we got down to work. As of now, we’re on the testing stage.

We hired Hivex to assist us with the development and maintenance of our banking application. We were looking for an outstaffing vendor who could complement our in-house talent for a long-term FinTech project.

SOLUTION

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

When planning our project, we realized that our in-house team’s expertise didn’t suffice to achieve our goals, so we decided to hire an outstaffing company. We found Hivex online. The deciding factors were their previous experience in FinTech development and affordable pricing.

At the kick-off meeting, I explained our project requirements so that they could assign developers with the expertise that could best meet our project needs and goals. The kick-off was followed by a couple of other video conferences where we discussed the project roadmap and scope in more detail, assigned roles and responsibilities. They have been working for us from the design phase through development and deployment up to the ongoing maintenance phase.

The key deliverable is our FinTech solution — a mobile and web banking app that is already in the market. We didn’t stop our partnership since we want their developers to be always there when we need help with fixing bugs or introducing updates to our product.
