Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m one of the partners here. We manufacture high-end lighting.
What challenge were you trying to address with High Level Thinkers?
We have a pretty intricate product line and needed a very experienced web designer and SEO expert that would not only help us grow nationally via the internet, but also could provide personal service and get to know our product intimately. This was necessary so they could relate our story and get our message across.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They walked us through a lot of things, from photography to company image and how to best sell our products and get our message across. They also helped with our design and fabrication.
We warranty our products for a lifetime, so quality was very important to get across. Obviously, making something from scratch in the United States was very important. They went through the whole gamut to make sure we were putting out best foot forward.
What is the team composition?
I generally do all of my stuff through Andre. He has a team behind us, but I don’t get too involved with them.
How did you come to work with High Level Thinkers?
We’d used them in the past a little bit. One thing we’ve always been able to identify with Andre (Digital Marketing Specialist, High Level Thinkers) is that he doesn’t overpromise. He does everything he said he’d do. When it came to the complete, national redesign for our company, we were excited to have his team work on it.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000 with them throughout our relationship.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since April 2010.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have a lot of laymen that work here, and my business partners, for the most part, are craftsmen and not internet gurus. Andre has always been able to walk us through collectively, as a group, and give it to us in a way that’s easy to understand. Everyone knows the expectations. He doesn’t just throw fancy spreadsheets in front of us and tell us to write a check.

How did High Level Thinkers perform from a project management standpoint?
The communication is tremendous. All emails are usually answered on the same business day, or the next morning if we send something at night. Products get updates daily. For the most part, the turnaround time is extremely fast.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication is the biggest strong suit. They have the ability to relay information in a way we can understand it. And the results speak for themselves. They’ve been able to help us grow our business. They’re trustworthy as well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I really don’t think so. We’re happy with how the relationship has gone for a number of years.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Stay away from the people that promise you the world. High Level Thinkers' big benefit is that they get to know your business and grow your business based on a volume you can maintain for a long period of time.
