We are a Software Company with all types of development, mobile apps, front-end web apps, back-end, and other services for businesses that need development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hexagon Agency?

Together with Hexagon, we've done a number of multifaceted projects for businesses. They have acted as design partners in our common projects. They took care of everything before the code work and built the design processes for those projects.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

High expertise in design for different tasks: e-commerce, interactive platforms, corporate branding, whatever. We like the team's dedication, portfolio, performance and speed. They do their work with high quality and we, the developers, feel comfortable working with them

Discovery session with project stakeholders to expand context, product researching and analytics, wairframe design and prototyping, final design delivery for development.

The design of the unit is determined by the scale of the project. Hexagon has the ability to dedicate a dedicated team to a project of any complexity. In the history of our cooperation, as a rule, a few persons have worked for the hexagon team. They did the research, built the design hypotheses, drew the components, and handed over the final deliberation for development.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Project under NDA, details can't be disclosed, but all tasks have been complete and everyone was satisfied.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Benchmark efficiency. Experience leaves no room for unnecessary communication. They grasp the key idea, translate it into design, and pass it on to us. Their project manager is aware of all the subtleties of the project and knows how to find common ground with our developers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They adhere to their estimations, pay attention to detail, and deliver quality designs that are easy for us to work with. Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in creating an effective and enjoyable user experience are exciting.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The guys gave us everything we needed on the projects as developers on time. Working with them is always a justified expectation, so it's hard to say. I would like to wish the guys more great projects in which they can fully prove themselves.

I'm co-founder and CEO of Eddy Travels. We're building an AI-powered chatbot for travelers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hexagon Agency?

Eddy Travels is assistant chatbot service available on Slack, Viber, and Telegram. We needed a simple, informative website that introduced users to the key features of our chatbot. Since chat apps limit visual communication with the user, it was extremely important that we have a strong, memorable brand and logo.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to create the landing page, logo, and branding. We wanted a modern, stylish website with a simple structure. 

How did you select this vendor?

We searched online for a web design agency, but felt overwhelmed and didn't like any of the complicated proposals. My colleagues recommended that I contact Hexagon Agency. During the introductory call, I received good questions and a clear proposal. Later, they provided a great presentation with solution suggestions and design ideas.

We began with an introductory call, then had presentation calls at every stage of the project. They moved on to the next steps only after we approved their solution. 

What was the team composition?

We had a dedicated designer, a lead, and two developers. Most communication was between the project manager and design lead.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Hexagon Agency's development and support were great. They produced a good design while paying attention to the details and our comments. They finished the website development on time, and we launched successfully.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We used Trello for management, which worked great.

I was impressed by their quick response to comments. Their support after the handoff was also pleasant and professional.

I can't think of anything in particular. They did everything well and delivered on time.

I’m the project manager of the development team at a information technology company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hexagon Agency?

We needed to do a redesign of the biggest e-commerce site in Kazakhstan. The site had a complex structure and functional requirements, so there was little room for major changes.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to create an updated design of the platform that would be compatible with the existing backend solution, maintain all functionality and user flows, and create a refreshed look simultaneously. We were trying to keep the core of the platform the same while changing the image.

How did you select this vendor?

We sent detailed requests to various design agencies, including the note about the importance of maintaining the current functionality. Hexagon proposal and presentation proved they had the expertise in UI/redesign projects. Ultimately, they showed a good understanding of the task which led us to choose them for the redesign.

We shared all documentation so there would be a common understanding of the task. Hexagon, then, shared their designs according to the roadmap we created. Their user flow and wireframes that they created showed an accurate interpretation of our idea. Each aspect of the website was shown to us for review and everything was approved by both sides.

Our project manager carried out all communication and documentation. We also worked with members of the design team.

All of their delivered products have been in line with what we envisioned; they did a great support job.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were committed to our goals and deadlines, making sure they met our expectations for both. If we need to change our schedule, they were flexible and collaborative. They expressed any questions or issues in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They do a great job of creating elegant and modern designs without sacrificing meeting deadlines. Their approach can be described as “think first”, because they always attempt to understand the purpose and general outline of the project before beginning.

This company does not work on projects full-time.

I am the founder of the airbasket.com platform. The website facilitates international deliveries by connecting customer orders with travelers who can act as their couriers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hexagon Agency?

We needed help conceptualizing our idea and highlighting any possible problems. Then, we wanted to use that information to inform our platform’s design.

What were your goals for this project?

Ultimately, we wanted a development-ready design for our product.

How did you select this vendor?

We searched for reliable agencies with the necessary skills to work on our platform from start to finish. Through some internal research and recommendations from others, we found Hexagon Agency. Based on their portfolio and client testimonials, we decided to hire them for the project.

In a brief introductory phase, we analyzed the project and created a proposal. Hexagon Agency created a series of user stories, operative flows, and branding and visual elements. They presented each iteration with a detailed explanation and we discussed the positives and negatives of each. Once they received approval for those elements, they started to create sitemaps, page structure sketches, and wireframes to create a cohesive UX/UI design. We reviewed their submissions and requested edits, which Hexagon Agency willingly took care of. We maintained this type of review-and-approve collaboration to make sure we were always on the same page.

We mainly spoke with a project manager and a design leader, but there were two other designers on the team, as well.

Hexagon Agency delivered a well-documented design plan for our platform, which put us in a perfect position to start the development stages. Our internal marketing and development teams reacted positively to their work.

Our project manager was our main point of contact. He was patient and detail-oriented in terms of project organization and documentation. He provided accurate estimates for both cost and time frames. Through consistent communication, we always remained up to date on our progress. The quality of their work made it clear that the Hexagon Agency team shared our vision for the platform.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team actively tried to develop a thorough understanding of our project before beginning any of the design work. This proved to beneficial for our project, as we started with only an idea. After listening to our pitch, they not only created a simple and modern design, but also one that aligned with our company’s values.

I wanted to see more of the ideas and directions they came up with for our project, but because of their internal quality control processes, they wouldn’t share them.
