Legia Warszawa
ABOUT
Legia Warszawa, the most successful club in Poland with 100 years of tradition, matched with HeroDOT to undergo digital transformation. Legia Warszawa is an example of a forward-thinking football club that embraces the emerging digital future but yet cares for its historical identity in the world of Polish football.

Legia Warszawa
CHALLENGE
Our cooperation with Legia consisted of two challenges:
-
Legia needed a new website that would withstand the rising number of views, accommodate football and non-football content, and meet the needs of fans visiting from various platforms.
-
Legia decided to abandon their previous insufficient mobile application in favour of a new app made from scratch.

Legia Warszawa
SOLUTION
In both cases, prior to developing the app and website, we conducted product workshops with Legia Warszawa to help shape their concepts. As a result, we designed a fully responsive site that includes a flexible system of grids and modules which can be modified and updated via a custom CMS.
The design of the application was created simultaneously with the website's design. The iOS and Android apps received new core functionalities such as match centre, calendar, home feed, and notifications. All of the app features were created with fan engagement in mind.

Rachuneo
ABOUT
Rachuneo.pl is a Polish company that offers a centralised platform to control your bills and payments, and a search tool to find the most favourable phone, internet, electricity and gas providers. Rachuneo.pl seeks to become a leading player in their market.
CHALLENGE
One of the first steps of Rachuneo.pl was to start the migration of their data from a third party server to their own venue. This subsequently required them to rebuild and rewrite the infrastructure from scratch. Rachuneo.pl requested us to take complete control of the development process, handle the cloud-based infrastructure, front-end and back-end works, reorganise the design system, and provide key touches aiming to tweak the user flow.
SOLUTION
We led Rachuneo.pl’s migration from third-party servers to a scalable cloud-based IaaS, rewriting the code from outdated technologies to modern and stable frameworks. We implemented plenty of unit and integration tests, an automated verification & validation process, an effective CI/CD pipeline.
The product design process focused on making subtle touches according to Rachuneo.pl’s visual identification. With slight alterations to minor components of the interface, we put together a concise design system, which will be a foundation for further development.

Share
ABOUT
Share is a European grocery brand from Berlin, Germany. Their main target is producing and selling sustainable food and care products while at the same time promoting the 1+1 principle.
CHALLENGE
Share had partnered with dm drogerie markt in their product distribution. As part of their campaign, Share wanted to develop an app for its retail partner’s employees. Its primary goal was to build awareness about Share’s mission among dm employees, who, in return, would subsequently educate their customers on Share’s products and promote the 1+1 sharing initiative.
SOLUTION
In a very short time span of 1,5 months, HeroDOT developed an Android app for 16,000 dm employees which includes functionalities such as onboarding screens, home screen countdown timers, daily progress updates, internal blog, FAQ and QR scanner.

Its first attempt at developing an application with a previous partner software house proved unsuccessful. As a result, Scrive turned to HeroDOT to continue its app development.

Scrive

Publio
ABOUT
Publio is a Polish internet bookstore owned and operated by AGORA SA media group, one of the largest and most well-known media companies in Poland. Publio’s online offer includes ebooks, audiobooks, online newspapers and magazines.
CHALLENGE
Publio contacted us to redesign their iOS app, as they considered it technologically and visually outdated. Also, their goal was to match the functionalities of their iOS app with their Android counterpart.
SOLUTION
Our cooperation with Publio started off with conducting a workshop, where our team discussed potential visions and solutions with the client. As a result, we were able to successfully identify all client needs.

Ekstraklasa
ABOUT
Ekstraklasa is the top Polish professional league for men's association football teams. Operating since 1926, it is currently composed of 18 teams and is part of UEFA.
CHALLENGE
Our cooperation with Ekstraklasa revolved around two challenges. First, creating a brand-new design system for their mobile app, and second, creating Ekstraklasa Fantasy game application.
SOLUTION
The new Ekstraklasa mobile app was created as a continuation of the freshly released website. By introducing additional features, the app further elevates the user experience allowing for more personalisation than ever before. The new Ekstraklasa Fantasy online game allows users to manage their own football league clubs. Introducing e-gaming elements to Ekstraklasa’s strategy is a big step towards building lasting user engagement.

BZB UAS
ABOUT
BZB UAS is a Polish startup company that specialises in the design, integration, and production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Their autonomous aerial systems help monitor and collect high precision data from extensive areas such as forests and agricultural lands.
CHALLENGE
Our client searched for a software house that would design and develop BZB Planner - their custom app, which enables the control of a UAV using an iPad. BZB UAS’s goal was to minimise the human intervention in flight operations and to simplify the process of drone route planning. The application was supposed to enable users to monitor and control an aerial vehicle through a user-friendly interface.
SOLUTION
Our first step was to perform workshops with BZB UAS to specify their needs and to clarify user stories. We concluded that a clear app dashboard was our top priority in app design. While implementing the interface for iPads, our iOS developers satisfied all complex projects requirements connected with the technical aspects of UAVs’ control and operation.
As we were dealing with a project involving flying vehicles, we ensured a high level of stability by extensively profiling the app and testing it in the fields. The final result was an application that is transparent and easy to use. Still, at the same time, it reduced the stress of operating an aerial vehicle and provided a stable connection with the vehicle.

Capabox
ABOUT
Capabox is the go-to mentoring application for smart career design & professional growth. It mutually connects Middle Eastern or international talents with world-class experts. The platform is a safe space to pass on invaluable know-how to those who are eager to boost their careers by collecting new tools for their skill-boxes.

Capabox
CHALLENGE
With Capabox we channelled our holistic approach to deliver both brand and web concepts. Starting from scratch, at the early stages we focused on marketing deliverables, such as extended market&user research, conceptualisation, strategy and - finally - branding. Afterwards, we designed low-fidelity prototypes for the landing page and application itself. Finally, we worked on the final, high-fidelity wireframes that cover all functionalities.

Capabox
SOLUTION
The Capabox app is designed to provide a close-to-real-life interpersonal connection. We give the users an opportunity to take a closer look at a professional silhouette of a Mentor/Mentee, get an accurate match, communicate with each other and track their skill-set progress. On top of that, we ensured a smooth, fast and enjoyable experience.

Brave Kids
ABOUT
Brave Kids is a Polish organisation whose mission is to bring together children from all over the world in an atmosphere of friendship and respect for each other’s cultures. The organisation participates in educational workshops on the “children teach children” principle.
CHALLENGE
Brave Kids' main goal was to redesign an existing website functionally and aesthetically. HeroDOT stood up to the challenge as part of the “Tech to the rescue” project, a voluntary movement grouping IT companies with non-governmental organisations affected by the COVID-19 globally.
SOLUTION
We intended to design an easily navigable and accessible website for desktop and mobile users.

Get Mercy
ABOUT
Get Mercy project is an initiative of the Misericors Foundation, established in 2015 by an IT entrepreneur and a priest of the Archdiocese of Kraków, Poland. Foundation aims to combine Catholic teachings of “new imagination of mercy” with the use of the latest technology.
CHALLENGE
Misericors Foundation searched for a brand identity for their new initiative, Get Mercy. Apart from brand identity, the foundation also required UI/UX design for their web and mobile applications. The app’s concept was to make the composition convenient and appealing to various age groups; understandable to the older audience, and attractive to the younger one.
SOLUTION
The scope of functionalities in the “Get Mercy” app varies from creating a user profile, through changing languages, up to creating a list of new intentions and good deeds. Above that, one of the most important functions it possesses is the ability to check map navigation with the sanctuaries and people sharing the same values. We used contemporary animation methods, making this project even more attractive on digital devices.

Casparo
ABOUT
Casparo is an online casino comparison tool that provides players with the best deals in fair, licensed and legal casinos.
CHALLENGE
Casparo tasked us with preparing a new brand identity and developing a new web design. The client emphasised designing a bold brand identity that subtly connected the product to the casino world.
SOLUTION
The Casparo brand identity offered by HeroDOT focuses on modernised and abstracted versions of colours and shapes related to table games, slots and card games. Classic card colours - black and red, were turned into the deep navy and saturated, pinkish-red. Because of the importance of digital advertisement, we utilised playing card symbols in motion, and moving patterns inspired by movable elements of slot machines.

iOS Design for Digital Publication Company
"We are very pleased and satisfied with the final result."
the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the product owner at Publio - an Internet bookstore in Poland, offering ebooks, audiobooks, online newspapers and magazines. The company belongs to the AGORA SA media group - one of the largest and well known media companies in Poland.
For what projects/services did your company hire HeroDOT?
We asked HeroDOT to redesign our official iOS app. Although we had an iOS app published on the App Store, it was technologically and visually outdated. Also, it had a very limited functionality compared to the Android version. We decided to address these issues and redesign the app for the iOS platform to offer our users a better overall experience.
What were your goals for this project?
First of all, we wanted to give the iOS app a modern and appealing look. Since we had introduced a new web design, we were looking to establish visual consistency on the mobile platform. It was also important to us to match the iOS app’s content and functionality with what was offered on the Android platform. This meant giving the users the ability to both view the full catalogue and use the app as an e-book reader.
How did you select this vendor?
They have been referred to us by another UX agency. HeroDOT was strongly recommended as a great partner for designing and developing mobile apps. They have extensive expertise in this area.
Describe the project in detail.
Before the actual redesign work, HeroDOT prepared a mini-workshop during which we discussed the goal of the project and vision of the product. As the iOS version had to closely match the contents of Android app, the UX/UI designer reviewed the available wireframes to see what had to be included in the iOS redesign.
We have received two initial design proposals and agreed on the creative direction of the project. The HeroDOT designer proceeded with the final app design and delivered assets ready to be implemented by our development team.
What was the team composition?
The redesign of the iOS was prepared by one UX/UI designer with an extensive experience in creating mobile products. One project manager was involved to overview the project
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The new version of iOS app offers a much greater value to our users. It is intuitive, clean, minimal and modern. The design is consistent with Publio’s visual identity on the web platform. With the redesign of the iOS app, we were able to extend its functionalities to match it with the Android version.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The designer involvement was estimated for 80 hours. HeroDOT delivered all design assets within the agreed time. The initial workshop held with the designer and project manager allowed us to clarify the project goals and led to a more efficient design process.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
HeroDOT redesigned the iOS app in a time-efficient manner. The review of the Android app allowed the UX/UI designer to start immediately with the hi-fi iOS designs. We believe HeroDOT is a trusted and reliable partner and this why they have been recommended to us. We are very pleased and satisfied with the final result.
Are there any areas for improvement?
For now, we observe user behavior, read comments, collect ideas. Application redesign was a very big change for many, especially older users. We are aware that it takes time for them to get used to using the new version of the application and make constructive comments.
When designing, we did not plan the night mode, we already know that for some clients this is an important option. We had to refine the process of downloading audiobooks, because it turned out to be a very complicated process and the original ideas and mockups did not take into account some situations.

Android Development of Employee Product Training App
“All in Mobile is in the process of helping our app reach 10,000–15,000 employees.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the head of digital for Share, a food, water, and hygiene products business. For every product that we sell, we donate an equivalent amount.
What challenge were you trying to address with All in Mobile?
We needed to develop an app for one of our retail partners for employees to be able to use in the field.
What was the scope of their involvement?
All in Mobile designed and built an internal app for Android, allowing us to educate our employees on our products and the types of projects we work on. They also incorporated digital coding and QR codes for all of the products we fund, so users can view what projects are linked to them.
What is the team composition?
I work with a project manager, a designer, and multiple developers.
How did you come to work with All in Mobile?
They were referred to us.
How much have you invested with them?
We've invested $17,000–$18,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around February 2018. The app was completed by early March, but we're still working on it.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
All in Mobile is in the process of helping our app reach 10,000–15,000 employees.
How did All in Mobile perform from a project management standpoint?
They're easy to get ahold of and highly organized, tracking communications and projects through Slack and Jira.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're very responsive. Whenever we've had any issues, their team has been quick to respond. They're almost instantaneously available.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of much, but perhaps they could be a little bit more flexible with our requests in the future.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open to their approach and timely when getting them information they need to work on your project. They have a good process in terms of how they work with clients and manage projects, so you can trust they know what they're doing.

iOS App Enhancements for Music Streaming Platform
"All In Mobile’s developers really tested all the features well. It was not like basic tests. They focus on the customer experience."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our company is developing two apps right now. The app that is making most of the money for our company is the app that moves music between streaming services. The second app selects which streaming service is the best for you.
We founded the company one year ago. We started the company one day and we built all the apps that evening. The next day, we started charging money and making money. I am co-founder.
What challenge were you trying to address with All In Mobile?
When we came to All In Mobile, me and my brother, who is also co-founder, and another co-founder had already moved to the other project, so we didn't have time to develop anything else. We were searching for an agency that could handle iOS for us. We needed a few different new features, and All In Mobile looked like the perfect solution for us. So we contacted them and discussed what we needed to do. Basically, we needed a feature that allows you to move from CSV files to a new music streaming service. Then, because we created a new application, we needed implementation for this app in our iOS app. Basically, All in Mobile built two big features and various backend features.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Because I am the developer, they proposed, which I really liked, that they would contact me directly with developers, so I didn't have to go through middle-men, which is usually some project manager. I could talk to developers, which was much better for me. Then, we gave them all the source code and they started working on it. They used RxSwift to handle new APIs. As I understood, they also used Alamofire. They had another guy that was doing pull requests, which I really like and what we do in our new company. It was really good that they had a second person that was checking the code of the person that was working on it.
How did you come to work with All In Mobile?
Basically, I met Kamil [Rzeznicki, Chief Executive Officer] in college. We have a lot of friends in common, even though we are not close friends. I know a lot of people around the team. I didn't know specific developers, though, but I knew people around and I knew that the company has a pretty good reputation.
How much have you invested with All In Mobile?
We have invested 2,200 euros [approx. US$ 2,400].
What is the status of this engagement?
They delivered what we needed in September. We aren't working with them anymore. However, I am talking with Kamil about getting a better price for the next project.
How did All In Mobile perform from a project management standpoint?
Basically, all the communication was happening on Slack. Financial and project stuff was done with Kamil, but we could talk with developers directly about specifics of each feature. If they had questions, because we built the previous code, we could answer immediately. We had access to Slack, but we also had access to a time reporting tool where we could see each developer, how much time he spent on what, and how much it cost us. This was awesome because every day I could see if we were coming close to our budget limit or not. This was really cool.
What did you find most impressive about All In Mobile?
To be honest, it was a really small thing. I like that they tested what they worked on. With my previous experience, when we tried to hire a few iOS developers, they would make a feature and never test it before it was released to production. We didn’t have time to test it ourselves. They told us it worked, but it didn't. What I really like is that All In Mobile’s developers really tested all the features well. It was not like basic tests. They focus on the customer experience. For example, Octavian, who was a lead developer in iOS, suggested three features that we paid for and integrated. They really focus on customer experience.
Are there any areas All In Mobile could improve?
I don’t think so to be honest because it was really in a small set of features. It was not like they had to build the whole app. They were building on top of our source code. I really thought that everything was quite perfect. I'm trying to think of a complaint and I cannot.

Android Development for Behavioral Learning App
"The person assigned to us had strong communication skills."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our organization is developing a mobile app. We are in the field of learning and development.
I'm responsible for the IT in general or rather, the front end.
What challenge were you trying to address with All In Mobile?
We have an Android application, and we needed some support to develop some features and be a bit faster. We asked All In Mobile to support us to get faster.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We do have one resource, one full-time equivalent, working on Android. We needed to double this, so we also use one full-time equivalent from All In Mobile for Android. The Android app helps people to implement behaviors in their daily work life. It's a business-to-business app. We provide the content, and we have the people to actually achieve behavior change. We had to program reminders to do certain things. There's a community feature in this app, and this is what we needed to do. It doesn't necessarily have to improve productivity because it could be any type of training. It could be project management training, sales management training, and anything else, like sports, if you like. It's more about behavioral change, not specifically about productivity.
How did you come to work with All In Mobile?
We had two concerns; one's obviously the financial concern, how much do we have to pay and what do we get for it. The other thing is, of course, quality, which is very important to us. We looked at a few different service providers and freelancers. All In Mobile seemed to be the best option for us. I think we were right and we'll work with them again.
How much have you invested with All In Mobile?
We have spent between $10,000 and $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I believe the project duration was four to six weeks.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
I planned the project with All In Mobile, and we achieved those goals within the given time frame. I would say that's a success, basically. We always talk in development milestones. Those features were usability improvements. In many cases, the feature was already implemented but was hardly usable, so we improved it. Another one was that we had a lot of issues with older devices, where it would work well on cutting-edge devices but not on an older one that runs on Android 4. We had to make sure it runs on all devices, and that was also a major task for us.
How did All In Mobile perform from a project management standpoint?
I'd say it worked very well, but you can't tell that they did the project management because we did, and we wanted to. They just provided the developer, and I did the project management along with the Android developer here. The communication worked very well, but we did the project management.
What did you find most impressive about All In Mobile?
What is really important to me is that the quality of the work is very good and that the person assigned to us has strong communication skills. I think if you work remotely, this is the most important thing. The developer we were working with has both. He always reports everything. He always gives very reasonable estimates on how much time he will need to achieve his tasks.
Are there any areas All In Mobile could improve?
No, I don't think I had any points where I would say, “You should change this.” So no, I don't think so.

Are there any areas All In Mobile could improve?
They could always be cheaper.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Please describe your organization.
Ofertia helps retailers distribute their print circulars.
What is your position?
I'm a mobile product manager, and I am responsible for managing the development process of our mobile apps. We have one for Android and one for iOS.
What business challenge were you trying to address with All in Mobile?
We were developing the iOS app in-house, but then our iOS developer resigned. We were struggling with recruiting somebody in-house. We had the guys from All in Mobile take what code they could use and make corrections. The version they worked on is already in the App Store. We have our Android development in-house and we hired All in Mobile to do the iOS portion.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.
Currently, it is only an iOS development.
How did you come to work with All in Mobile?
We were looking at many different companies but All in Mobile came from a personal recommendation of a guy with whom I worked seven years ago. My current company is based in Barcelona. The founder is Spanish, and the second founder is German. The headquarters are here in Barcelona. We looked at some companies here in Barcelona but, because I am Polish, I had some contacts with some companies in Poland. Obviously, we were looking at a quality-per-cost ratio. One of the Spanish companies that we were quite close to negotiating with had developers in the Philippines. I think that the issues with communication would be higher for us so developers in the relatively same time zone were a bit more important.
Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?
Our partnership with All in Mobile is in the $10,000-to-$50,000 range.
Please share something about their team that makes them great with which to work.
I didn't even have a small issue with their communication because they are in the same time zone for me. It's very convenient to talk with them in Polish although they speak perfect English. When there is a need to collaborate with our IT [information technology] team, we collaborate on Slack and everything moves really quick and easy.
In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve or things you might do differently?
No. I cannot name anything specific.

We assist online stores, producers, distributors, and chain stores, implementing e-commerce solutions, integrating systems, designing, and conducting marketing campaigns.
What role do you have there?
I'm the CEO and founder.
What business challenge were you trying to address with All In Mobile?
We were looking for a company that could consult and help us to rebuild the Android version of an app of ours, which was a part of a larger project that was sold to one of our clients. This client is one of the biggest media groups in Poland.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.
It's an m-commerce app, a shopping adviser. It shows the best offers and promotions to the user in their area. The app covers every major and minor city in Poland. The services All In Mobile provided were strategy consulting, design consulting, and full native app development for Android.
How did you come to work with All In Mobile?
We had a professional relationship with the founders before beginning this project.
Did you consider other business partners? Why All In Mobile?
Yes, we did. We chose All In Mobile because of the team's expertise and founders' experience in m-commerce apps.
Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?
Just about $15,000.
What distinguishes All In Mobile from other providers?
All In Mobile's consulting approach is great. You feel like you're working with a very mature company when, in reality, the team at All In Mobile is fairly young.
What makes All In Mobile a great business partner?
They are great at building a project from scratch. All In Mobile was able to provide us with a lot of market insights.
In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve or things you might do differently?

Briefly describe what your company does.
We are a high-quality professional services company based in Saudi Arabia. We've built various products and services for the Saudi Arabia market.
What role do you play there?
I'm a project manager.
What business challenge were you trying to address with All In Mobile?
We were building a mobile application for our food delivery service. Part of the job was done by a different service provider, but we weren't satisfied with the quality. We've approached All In Mobile to ask them to finish the project. All In Mobile examined the code and suggested building it from scratch. We were hesitant but agreed. Now, we are happy about that decision.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.
All In Mobile provided branding, UX/UI [user experience/user interface], and the full development of the Android and iOS versions of the app. All In Mobile used lean and agile development strategies, which was a novelty for us but, after awhile, we started to appreciate it.
Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?
So far, this project has cost approximately $100,000. The project is ongoing, and we are currently on our fourth of the partnership.
What distinguishes All In Mobile from other providers?
I would say All In Mobile's transparency and accessibility sticks out. Anytime we needed to talk, they always found a way to speak as fast as possible. Also, after every sprint, they provided full reports on what had been done. I haven't experienced anything like that with other companies. We like the design and insights that were provided throughout development process. They are adding great value to our business.
In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?
Although we've worked with All In Mobile on an agile methodology and hourly rate, we would appreciate if they've helped us to estimate more accurately the amount of time required to complete the project. However, we're happy that we've chosen them.

We had an iPad application that we had developed with another Polish app development company. The app was not up to our standards, and we realized that we needed to rebuild that application completely. We also needed to develop an Android application at the same time in order to meet more of our customer's needs.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.
All In Mobile provided a rebuild of our iPad application and built our Android app simultaneously.
How did you come to work with All In Mobile?
A colleague who had previously worked with All In Mobile referred us to them.
Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?
Our project fell in the range of $10,000 to $50,000.
What distinguishes All In Mobile from other providers?
The All In Mobile team is full of great guys, and they're easy to work with. We established a great relationship with them from the beginning. They invited us to their Slack channel, which facilitated good communication between our teams. They've basically become a part of our company. I look forward to continuing our work together.
Is there anything All In Mobile could have improved or done differently?
All In Mobile could have focused on providing more strategic insight when building cross-platform applications. We would have liked an expert's point of view and to hear more of their ideas or tips. They just focused on providing what we asked for rather than providing the best solution. In the end, there were some minor iterations that needed to be done during this project that could have been avoided if they had given more feedback and shared their know-how.
