They developed business cards and templates as well as the forms that we needed for our business. They also managed our online marketing activities.
They built and designed our website based on my instructions. Users could also contact us if they have requests or comments. Whenever there are changes or updates we want to implement on the website, they immediately work on it without any additional costs.

I’ve interacted with three people, but I’m not sure how many people are really working on my project. I’m sure there are people in charge of content, design, and development.

I'm the CEO of Synctactic Al Technologies, a data science company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Henote Technologies?
We hired Henote Technologies as developers and we worked with them on the machine learning side of our project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
It was a data science project, so it was a mix of fixed cost and some of their professional services, as well. We worked with a few of their developers on building some of our machine learning models. We worked with them for 8–9 months until we had our beta launch. We started off small with them and it ended up becoming a big team.
Initially, we started by defining the scope followed by monthly and quarterly deliverables. We liked their work, so we extended the project with them and started working with their developers as well — the whole project turned into more of a resource-based engagement. Some of the modules were already built internally by our team, but we onboarded them in the middle, so they helped us build some from scratch.
They helped us build applications, initially, and then they helped us build machine learning models, as well, with a focus on retail. End to end, their services revolved around product development, as well as testing services and helping us with the deployment of the product.
Until we had our beta launch, they provided us with complete support. Python and ReactJS were a couple of the technologies we used their skill sets for.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with the CEO, as well as with the technical architect. We were also assigned a project manager, but our main point of contact was the CEO.
How did you come to work with Henote Technologies?
We came across them through a Google search. We were very particular in terms of the work that they had previously done. We were building a product for retail, so we looked for someone that had previous experience working with the retail customer. They had strong expertise in that area and we spoke to the developers before we engaged with the team; we liked the developers and we decided to work with them after that.
How much have you invested in them?
Overall, the cost was somewhere between $90,000–$100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement ran from February 2019—January 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The project was successful. We measured their success around the deliverables that we received. Looking at the subsequent launch of the product, all of the deliverables were on time and there were hardly any missed deadlines.
How did Henote Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?
We were very particular in terms of the project management tools we were using — we wanted them to use Jira and as well as our internal project management tool. Once we gave them access to it, they used the tool.
We communicated with them on a daily basis. There was a Slack channel for communicating within the teams. We also had an internal team that worked directly with them, too. Henote Technologies gave us a report every fortnight in terms of their overall activity. They also pushed the code on a weekly basis. We had a good engagement and their team was solid — they really supported us.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The technical skillset of the team was really great. The teammates we worked with were amazing and skilled developers. They were an excellent, professional team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could have been more of a solution provider. We used to tell them exactly what we wanted, and then they developed it. If they were in a position to suggest what could’ve been better, that would have been good for us. However, we wanted what we wanted, and they developed that for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Henote Technologies was very good on the retail side, so if someone is looking for an end-to-end retail solution, I think they are the best team for it. They are really good at DevOps, as well, in terms of the process they follow and the complete code development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Henote Technologies?
My job was to ensure the promotion of that platform, and for us to do so, we needed a marketing company that also had talented developers to create a web platform and a promotional vehicle or mechanic for the network’s products and services.

Henote Technologies created a website and marketing vehicle for us. We worked with them to define and design a platform that could promote real estate, investment opportunities, products and services, and luxury cars and boats.

Sai is a discerning individual. He understands quality and looks to please the client, and he’s a strong and effective communicator. We communicated through Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp, and email.

They really look to understand the customer brief and deliver a quality piece of work. Henote Technologies delivered a strong product based on our clear instructions for delivery.

It’s always good to have a broad reach of developers, designers, and campaign managers when working on international projects. Clearly, Henote Technologies is expanding its reach globally, and that greater international development team will probably improve their product and project delivery potential.
