I’m the owner of 10 of The Best. We have a parent company and build solutions under them. They offer business consultation, and we provide solutions to businesses about automation or simplifying their processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hauper Technologies?

We needed help with building a hospitality platform for function venues and restaurants, among others.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hauper Technologies helps us on a number of projects. but this web-based, hospitality platform is one of the major ones. We have about 150 websites that are consolidated into one portal, which serves as a content management system. This allows restaurant and hospitality venue owners an opportunity to update and manage the presence of their business under one platform. It also allows them to upload their menu, announce special offers, and open up their availability for function spaces and upcoming events.

Initially, I gave them a brief on what I wanted, and they’ve taken over everything and are working based on my requirements. They handle the wireframing, use Laravelo for development, and look after our server that’s in an AWS environment. Additionally, their team is helping us build a mobile application for the platform — the iOS and Android versions are already being developed. They’re in charge of the UI/UX design as well.

What is the team composition?

8–10 people from their side are working on this project, including my main point of contact Abhishek (Founder & CEO). 

How did you come to work with Hauper Technologies?

It was through a referral. I ended up hiring them thanks to their ability to explain technical concepts in simpler terms. I was also impressed with how they were able to convert my ideas into reality.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them on this project around July 2018, and our engagement is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I am happy with their services, and I think my clients and users feel the same way since they’ve been getting inquiries from our platform.

How did Hauper Technologies perform from a project management standpoint?

They usually deliver outputs on time, but whenever there’s a sudden delay or change, they seek our approval first. We manage tasks through Asana and communicate via Microsoft Teams.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a good balance of skills, so we don’t have to go looking for other people to handle things like marketing; their team can do everything from content writing and UI/UX design to QA testing and development. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could try traveling to their clients; there are a lot of projects that I could get them to work on if they only weren't located overseas. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have weekly meetings with them.
