Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of operations at a ratings and reviews platform focused on B2B service providers.
What challenge were you trying to address with GrassBridge Recruiting?
Our HR and people operations team was fairly small, and we didn’t have any internal recruiter. We needed help recruiting marketing and revenue-related roles.
What was the scope of their involvement?
GrassBridge is responsible for the outbound efforts of identifying potential matches for our open positions. We write job descriptions, and they do the first round of candidate screening. I don’t know their process in-depth, but Leslie (Executive Recruiter) conducts scouting through LinkedIn and other online platforms.
What is the team composition?
We work with David (President) and Leslie.
How did you come to work with GrassBridge Recruiting?
A colleague recommended them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent approximately $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working in July 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Once we open a job position, it takes GrassBridge 6–8 weeks to place an individual in our organization. That isn’t fast, but it’s not long either. So far, they’ve helped us onboard two senior managerial teammates, which helped move our business forward.
The candidates they’ve brought in are a great fit and have integrated well into our company. The process they put in place has helped us evaluate candidates and keep the process streamlined. We’re only interviewing people that are a strong match for the position.
How did GrassBridge Recruiting perform from a project management standpoint?
GrassBridge performs extremely well with project management. Leslie is communicative and a fantastic listener — she’s kept the process moving.
Our expectations for the candidates have changed for each position, but they’ve been really good at understanding what we’re looking for and delivering based on that.
What did you find most impressive about them?
GrassBridge’s team is small, and that makes them nimble. They’re excited to get the job done properly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. They’ve been good partners.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
As with any project, go in with as much detail as possible. Make sure you’re clear with the skillset you’re looking for. Ensure that you have strong role descriptions.
